My first time here. I happened to be in the neighborhood and heard so much about this place. They…read morehave Everything! Not just wine, but all liquor, beer, mixes and premade cocktails. I was looking for a specific tequilla... and they had it! Not only that they had several tequilas open for tasting so I was able to find a new tequila that is good tasting and very smooth. The sales associates on the floor are very knowledgeable; they don't just work there, they actually know what they are talking about which is very helpful. The have wine tasting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also offer classes to learn about wine.

I was totally taken aback by the level of customer service I was provided. Upon entering the store, i headed to what I thought was the correct area. 2 different employees walked past and spoke to me as they walked by. I thought that was pretty nice. Then a third one went past and asked if they could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me to it. I am happy she did. She showed me where the help wanted button was that I didn't see and that also wasn't labeled. But since she walked me back and identified it for me it was ok. Then an employee came back and helped me. She was very nice and pleasant and said she would have my order up front at the registers. Even the cashier was both nice and friendly. Each employee I encountered gave me a high level of customer service. I also liked the fact that the store was very neat and clean and very organized. I can tell by this location that customer service is very important to this company.

Ever work 12 hours on a Saturday and have to face the fact of going home with warm beer?…read more Yeah. I know. I don't ever want to do that. I go home with cold beer only, and thanks to this liquor store I achieved what I do. Cold beer. Why pay you to hold beer in your establishment if it's not cold? Ice cold. A strange phenomenon I've seen happening at grocery stores in Indiana... where they actually sell room temp beer... why do you have it if it's not in a fridge? Well... liquor stores that should be called "beer stores" have 'em cold. By the way... a 12 pack of 12 oz cans o' Miller is $12 and a 12 pack of 16 oz cans o' Miller is $12... um, yeah, do the math and make sure you make the right purchase. To boot, a 12 pack of Stella is $12 too... so... that's a pretty convincing situation. They also sell the cheapest 22oz-er of Stone IPA I've seen -- cold -- at $6.50. OH, WAIT! Is that a can of whip cream at your counter? Why? Wait... it's alcohol infused whip cream? Yes please! Yeah... really... so when you have your crumpets get together with a bunch of crumpets you secretly cannot stand... this is the whip cream you put on top of their dessert to get them shelled. Fast. Fast as in go now to get this alcoholic whip cream! Open late on the weekends!

When you enter walk right past the domestic and "import" beers and head for the back of the store…read more This is the land of yummy goodness! Microbrew heaven! This place has this largest selection of microbrews that I have seen nearly anywhere. They even have at least one brand of barleywine. An added bonus is the old guy that works behind the counter. Great stories.

The owner here was super helpful when I was looking for a specific type of alcoholic cider. I know,…read moreI know: cider. Gee whiz, right? I might as well be drinking a Capri Sun, is what you are thinking. But this cider was very interesting to me because it was named after a character in a horror movie that I really liked, and it was only available until November, so I had to try it. The owner couldn't find my cider in his store, but he called a place in Carmel to see if they had it, and they did. That's what I call service! I will definitely be back to Big Red Liquors to get some beer and wine and liquor. They have a lot of all of it. They have cold beer in the refrigerated section, which as of now, you can only get cold beer at liquor stores (oh, Indiana.)

It's a little higher price then I'm use to back home but still a nice little gem. Not a lot to say it is again just a liquor store . The cashier was nice but you could tell she didn't want any kind of conversation . Just a "pay for what ya got so we can be done" kind of feel. I'll be back just to see what they got . Got my wife little shots of sex in the beach. Ah wasn't that great . We're we're there to get the stuff to make Bahamas mamas . Great selections of runs and also mixers . Sure stop on in . Pick your poison . Mines rum and moonshine.

This is place to visit when you want to chat with the people behind the counter, whether it's because you want a recommendation or because you want them to help you find the perfect bottle for a gift. During my short time in the store, I was cheerfully greeted and showed around, but also left to browse by myself (which, as an introvert, I appreciated). The store is small and cozy, but they have a great selection of wine and other beverages that I haven't seen at bigger places. I ended up getting a bottle of Spanish red wine and a can of local white wine. I like to do that whole high-low thing sometimes, you know? WestClay Wine and Spirits does wine tastings and spirit tastings weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. You can keep up with their schedule on social media. I was encouraged to visit for a tasting, and was told that the tastings are super low-key and fun, and a good way to try something that might be new to me.
