Ordering carryout, I had been waiting for 45 minutes when I finally asked a staff member if my order was close to being ready. He said they were "just starting it". In total, I had to wait an hour for a carry out order. While I was waiting, another gentleman getting carry out said his order was all messed up when he checked his bag. He was there as long as I was, and in fact , was there before me. A mother and daughter were waiting a long time for their dine in order and when it finally was delivered, they informed the server it must have been sitting quite awhile as it was all cold. Throw in a very dirty kitchen, and it finally broke my tolerance level to go back.

If you're looking for Swensons, I'd say stick to the Akron based area and avoid all the Columbus locations because rumor has it the staff rotates throughout all of the different locations versus having a regular staff. I think that's part of the problem. It's just really weird how bad it often is and it's disappointing just as often . I should've given it one star But I just really love Swensons and just couldn't do it.
