Very good burger, had the right amount of seasoning and fries had the right amount crispy to them. With the double patty not as messy as one would think to eat. The staff were friendly, service was fast, it took from when I order the food to come to my table about four minutes but at the same time it was not that busy. This place is was absolutely terrible. The owner who is out of shape was sweating on the food as he was cooking and would rub his face while cooking. When asked for a refund instead of receiving our order my wife was harassed and questioned by the owner. I will never come here again and I will be calling corporate to report this. read more

Being a near-Wisconsin native, I've been going to Culver's for a number of years, and this one is no different. For fast food, this is it. Great burgers and good fries, but I usually stick to my regular order, which is a pork tenderloin sandwich(mustard/pickles), cheese curds, and a Culver's root beer(which is outstanding). read more

The food tastes great, I love butter burgers, cheese curds, concrete mixers, etc. However, the service is the WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN! I have so many stories. I was able to finish a tall concrete mixer in the time that they made my food (i was going through the drive thru) and they didn't compensate me at all with coupons, given it to me for free (the food took like 20 minutes) or anything they just said "sorry for the wait" and closed the window. The service has always been slow, and I have put up with it but tonight was the last straw. Something always goes wrong every time I am there, so i was expecting something, but not something so easily messed up. I asked for a concrete, but the two for one deal, and instead of putting vanilla custard in them, they made them pumpkin spice, just because? I didn't even mention a pumpkin or a spice, so there was literally no reason for doing that. I would not recommend giving a an expensive "fast food" restaurant with no good service your money. Take it to McDonalds or Taco Bell next door, at least they can make their food correctly in under half an hour. My order was given to the car in front of me, even though I had an order number and so did they. The food runner shorted them part of their order, went back in the restaurant came back out and gave them my order. I noticed that they pulled in to a spot and were going through the food. The food runner approached my vehicle and didn't have my order. She told me that mine was being worked on, and she would be back out. The two gentleman that were in front of me approached the food runner at that time inform her that their order was still wrong. They asked me if "I ordered a double, fry and chili, because we went through it." I told them that was my order, and the food runner said..."just give him that order", even after the two guys said they touched everything. It was a big NO all the way around. She said she would see what the manager wants to do. That's when I requested a refund, which she informed me that I would have to go inside. I did go inside, and the manager said he would redo the order. Why would I trust another order if they can't follow the simple rules of food integrity. This was my first visit and I didn't know what to expect. I ordered the sour dough burger (it may have been a double, not sure). The sour dough bread was buttery and good. The burger was the thinnest I've ever seen. It says online made to order. I don't know if that means I should have been able to order it a medium but no one asked. The burger was so thin and so over cooked. It didn't come with tomato or lettuce but they were very nice and got that when I asked. I would definitely never order it again. Very first time here. We had bogo coupons and decided to try it out. I thought it was a step above your basic fast food. The prices were good for the quality of food you got. I got a value basket with the deluxe burger and cheese curds. The curds were really good and the burger was fresh and tasted great. I also got a scoop of chocolate custard after my meal and it was very tasty. I'd never tried custard before, so for someone else who hasn't, I would describe it as a slightly thicker soft serve that tastes creamier. I liked how you order at the counter and they bring you the food. Service was very quick and the employees seemed relatively friendly. They also accepted multiple coupons that we had even though it said on them that they wouldn't take two from the same customer. So that was nice. It was pretty crowded and busy, so it seemed like a pretty popular place to eat. The inside dining area was pretty large and everything seemed clean. I'm sure we'll go back. read more

We really like this place. It's a fun place to take the kids. The burgers, cheese curds, and custard are all yummy! I'm not a fan of their fries. The prices are decent. The service has always been great. They sell pints of custard in the small freezer in the front if you want to pick up a dessert for later. They have televisions playing cartoons or sports. This was our first time here in years, second time total. And will be the last time. Fast food should not cost almost $20 for two adults and a child--these were not full meals by the way. Two burgers, one fry, one drink and a kids meal. And it was certainly not fast despite there being plenty of employees present. The dining area was messy/dirty and the person (sort of) cleaning swept a little here and there and then began to clean off tables, leaving more crumbs on the floor. It just wasn't a pleasant experience, and we felt ripped off. Why I give it two stars is the tasty chocolate custard. My daughter enjoyed that, and if we were in the area and wanting a cold treat, I may consider going through the drive thru solely to get her that. read more

Being an ex employee here, I should warn you, never eat here. The kitchen staff never wears gloves, temperatures of food is never up to health code standards, and customer service has always been terrible because they simply do not care and have not been trained properly. As an ex manager there, I tried my hardest to make the restaurant as best as possible, but there's only so much one person can do, especially if the owner doesn't care. The restaurant has never been completely cleaned properly. The drive thru is always slow. And it's never staffed properly, so they're always slow! My wife and I love to get the family-sized cheese curds. The custard is also really good, along with the fish and the fried shrimp. I am not a huge fan of the butter burgers, but the cole slaw makes up for any shortcomings. The service at this location is also very good. read more

CULVERS ROCKS.... Always a good collection of local kids to wait on you and almost always very friendly. The frozen Custard actually IS frozen custard!! And the Butterburgers are the best burgers in ANY large chain restaurant I have ever patronized. The place is also pretty clean as well. Tables and bathrooms. Don't see that much in chain restaurants. It never ceases to amaze me how unimportant that seems to be to folks writing reviews. I used to come to this (Florence, KY) location because it was convenient to stop in when I saw friends in KY. But I will stick to driving the same distance to the Mason Ohio location because between poor service, and a store manager that doesn't care about bettering customer service, I'm not coming back. First off, going through the drive-thru was sketchy at best. Didn't receive my whole order of chicken tenders, fries were cold, not receiving the sauce I asked for to eat with the chicken tenders, no napkins, and they downsized my shake order while still paying for a large. When I got home, I called them and spoke to a woman who said she was the store manager. Having a slightly dismissive attitude to my review of my service there, she offered to send me coupons, took down my name and address, and.... Nothing. It's been about a month now, and I take that to mean that she was just appeasing me and my rant to just get me off her back. Not only did she say that she doesn't work the drive-thru, which I understand, but where is your managerial skills to teach the employees to actually do the bare minimum of what's expected? It wasn't a busy time, no other customers behind me, and a couple cars in the lot, so the "busy" excuse gets thrown out the window. Just poor management, and shoddy follow-up.
