I can't believe this is the first Culver's we stopped at on our roadtrip. Only 1,855 miles away. There are closer Culver's in Arizona and Utah. Service was nice and friendly. My wife always gets their cod sandwich. My daughter and I always get their burgers. Their food never disappoints. Their butter burger with mushroom and cheese is one of the few burgers that my daughter will finish. Their burgers are delicious. Even the manager came over to talk to me and find out about my road trip. He even warned me about a speed trap a few miles up. It was a very good visit. It shouldn't be difficult to center a chicken patty on a bun. Nor to center a sliced tomato on top of the chicken. Nor even to spread the lettuce across the tomato. But not today. My first bite was a chicken patty with no tomato. My next bite was a tomato sandwich with no chicken. And since the lettuce was all on one side of the sandwich, it all ended up in my lap. I'm currently on an adventure helping my friend drive home for Christmas break. I have never been to a Culver's and I am blown away! My friend is from the Midwest and I have been asking about different midwestern places to try and I am so happy we stopped here! Firstly, the place was so clean including the bathrooms. The manager took our order, I asked questions about the menu and she gave me the full lowdown. I had a Culver's deluxe with onions rings and my friend had the same with cheese curds. #yum the burgers were juicy, not over greasy. The lettuce, tomato's, and onions were so fresh and crisp! A very happy discovery. Also red onion was such a nice touch in comparison to McDonald's and their blah white onions. The onion rings were crispy and thinly sliced- a win. To top it off I got to have my first fried Wisconsin cheese curds and those were a game changer! Crisp and gooey in the center. I can't wait to visit again tomorrow to try their ice cream. read more

We placed order thru drive up and sat in line for awhile. Saw numerous other people getting orders that came after us. A girl came to our car with an order and said "oops not yours". We asked where ours was and she said someone else got it. We then waited another 15-20 minutes for ours with "so sorry" and coupons for ice cream!! What a joke!! Overrated. This isn't really a review for this in particular restaurant, but Culver's as a whole. The staff is nice here, but my goodness, the food is way too expensive! If I were you I'd drive a few blocks down to McDonald's and get a #2 for half the cost. read more

The Hamburger was very good here, much better than an In & Out Hamburger that is popular out West. If you enjoy a good hamburger, stop in and give it a shot. Service is fine. Place is clean. Fries are frozen, and not fresh cut, so we did not waste time ordering those. The custard was OK, but we can live without that too. To make the custard mint chip they simply drizzle mint syrup on the vanilla custard and sprinkle chips on it. Yuk! The syrup reminded me of that Fluoride Mint Rinse the Dentist gives you after a teeth cleaning. When I think of quality mint chip--its in the cream--part of it, not dropped on top. Culver's custard is never a let down, although I've had better. Burgers are better than average and I can barely finish one! Get 3 scoop ice cream boat for an experience you'll end up calling it a tradition! Strawberries and caramel all the way! read more

I miss Culvers living on the west coast. I normally shun drive thru's but I have a sweet spot for this regional chain. I always get the frozen custard, and they have a very good new burger, the Colby's Pub or something. I had another one at a different restaurant the next week but this place makes them top notch. I was traveling through the area on 6/30/17 and stopped for a sandwich. After I ordered at the Drive-Thru I was told they wouldn't sell me a hamburger, SMALL fries, and a MEDIUM soft drink. They wanted to bundle it into a combo. I offered to pay the individual prices but that wasn't good enough so I offered to pay for a medium combo but only wanted a small fries, but again, no. I explained that as a diabetic I have to control my carb intake and after checking their nutritional guide I could only have a small fries. She again stated that they would not do that and asked me to leave. WTF! When I called their corporate offices on 7/3/17 they said they would look into it and after 3 weeks I've heard nothing back. I've never been so embarrassed and frustrated in my life. As a diabetic, I needed to eat to keep from having medical problems, LIKE A COMA but I can't over eat either. Diabetes sucks but it can be controlled but I guess not if you try to eat at Culvers! read more
