I am a new fan of this place. They are always quick, and they have an interesting selection of made-to-order sandwiches. Also, I enjoy going in and getting a day old (but still very fresh!) loaf of bread for only 50 cents! I way prefer their bread to that of Subway. Now while I'm on that comparison though, I will say that at Subway, you will likely end up with a wider variety of veggies on your sandwich. However, the meats and cheeses taste fresher and are more generous at Jimmy John's. They do have lots of veggies, but it's not the same setup as Subway, where you look at your veggies and pick them as you go. You order a pre-formulated sandwich instead. However, you can add/remove veggies at will, so it does balance out. It's not a big place, but there's some tables inside too... Personally I just pop in and pop back out with my sandwich to go! read more

I like this Jimmy Johns location a lot. It's a clean store, staff is always friendly and they deliver on the freaky fast promise in preparing our order. I'm here at least once a week eating in. I live outside the delivery area and that's understandable. I'm not mad they won't drive 10 minutes from their store to bring me a sandwich. In the past, sometimes the bread was not the freshest here and the ends of their famous bread would be rock hard and tear the crap out of the roof of my mouth - thankfully that hasn't been a problem lately. Only other issue is temperature is like a meat locker, it's always freezing in there. Overall a great location for quick delicious sandwiches made by a friendly staff. read more

$1 sub day! Love when they have these specials! All staff was very pleasent and *freaky fast* all though one of the sandwichs didn't have cheese and was suppose to and they were confirmed that it had cheese. I'll let it slide this time, because they did very well minus they forgot cheese on one sandwich. Will be back! I used to order weekly and sometimes more then once a week. I will start by saying that I absolutely love Jimmy Johns. I moved to a new house that is 1.7 miles from the Locust location and 2.2 from the 53rd location. Neither of them will deliver to my address. The answer I got was that it's a dead zone. What is that supposed to mean? My opinion of the food won't change, but whoever is in charge of these locations needs to go to customer service school. I realize that there has to be a cut off, but less than 2 miles?
