This Culver's has been open for about six months or so, it's not really different from other locations. However, the employees were very friendly and one even stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything. The design and interior look nice and well thought out. Our food came out fast and hot. Some of the tables could have used a wipe down. They are always busy, again like most locations. It's conveniently located for those shopping at Bayshore mall. Check it out!

The soda dispensers in the lobby need to have their lines cleaned on a regular basis. My Sprite tasted like mildew.

Let me just tell you how wonderfully amazing this tasted on a very hot day, which felt like it was…read moreover 100. I stopped by for a scoop of mint chip custard and it was creamy, rich, cool, and delicious. But - really is there no bad day for custard? No, there isn't! This place is busy all year round, and for good reason. For the custard, there is usually a flavor of the day, plus the usual favorites, vanilla and chocolate, plus a sundae and shake of the month. A sign outdoors advertises the flavor of the day and a monthly menu of each flavor of the day is available online, if you want to plan ahead for your visit. If you've not been to this Milwaukee icon, it's a must-stop; the custard is really, really good. The retail store is set up like a 50s type diner, and there are plenty of folks ready to take your order. There is no seating indoors, just a few tables for standing-only to munch and chat. However, there is outdoor seating like a mini amphitheater on cement steps, and when the weather is nice, it is not unusual to see large groups of customers sitting outside eating ice cream or other treats or burgers. The menu also includes burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes, malts, floats, and sundaes, too.

This time I had the KRK Burger with fries and onion rings along with two scoops of Cookies & Cream custard in a waffle cone. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean, well lit, and runs efficiently. Even when it's busy, the staff keeps the line moving and is always friendly and helpful. I also love their rotating Flavor of the Day custard options, and they even post a three day forecast so you can plan ahead. Overall, Kopp's is a great spot for both food and dessert. Definitely recommended.

Pleasantly surprised with this joint! We went a little wary…read morewith the underwhelming reviews, but it was close, I was hungry, and it was happy hour (3-6). The Happy Hour specials are pretty neat - $2 off drafts (and they have a huge selection), half off appetizers, and $5 well spirits. Oh, and cuz it was a Wednesday, half off all whiskeys! Being 5pm on a Wednesday, the place was pretty empty and the sign up front said bar seating only. Which was empty too, so it was fine. Our server was not all smiles, but a bit more shy-ish, but not curt or rude, just shy-like. She was quite nice and service was prompt and efficient. Interior was on the darker side (it's a bar), but tastefully done and clean. TVs were great and sitting in the bar afforded some awesome views of the soccer game going on at the time. Oh, the place is located inside the Bayshore Mall, on the second floor, next to the movie theater. Park in the Lydell garage, second floor, and you can come right into the building. Cheese curds These were great! Not hands down the best I've had, but very well done, quite tasty and came with a neat honey mustard sauce that felt very different from other honey mustards I've had. Crab and Goat Cheese Balls Five balls of deep fried cheese balls atop honey (says honey orange sauce, but it tasted like good honey), garnished with green onions. Not my cup of tea, but I knew going in cuz I'm not a fan of goat cheese. Hubby wanted to try, but didn't seem really wowed either. Wings Very well done, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside, just like I like it! Didn't try any naked ones and they don't have dry rub, so we just had the tossed in 2 sauces. For 18 wings, we can choose 3, but we just went with 2. They came in rectangular bowls, and were tossed in sauce, and also swimming in sauce (which we could dunk our cheese curds in... yum) Scotch glaze - very honey-ey with a tang of scotch as an aftertaste. On the sweet side. Sweet Garlic Teriyaki - very sweet. Too sweet to taste the garlic. I'll pass on this next time. Next time, try the Buffalo (two guys who came in after us got 18 of them just Buffalo, and they looked good). Perhaps try the bourbon BBQ. Maybe naked with sauce on side? IPA Boulevard Wheat - nah. Pass Terrapin Hopsecutioner IPA - quite hoppy, melikes. Terrapin High and Hazy IPA - Hany Likes. Really good. Overall an awesome happy hour dinner! The wings were so good and at such a great price point being half off that we didn't try the burgers, but we will definitely be back, so we'll try them next time.

Had to wander out for a Monday night dinner when we found out this UK inspired restaurant finally…read moreopened up! Queue my British husband eager to get a taste of home. This is a great location; so happy to see it filled again with a new eatery. It sits inside Bayshore mall on the second floor across from the ACX Cinemas. My first impression was how wonderfully designed the restaurant is! It has a lovely and inviting exterior, and the the decor inside is great. You can tell there was a lot put into meeting the theme - wooden & plaid walls, proper English pub couches, Premier League flags hanging from the ceiling, signs and framed art work that certainly matched the concept. They did a really great job! We were one of the only tables in, as it's brand new and was a Monday night, so not too surprised. The staff seemed to still be in training, but our server was sweet nonetheless. We sat at a low top with a highchair for our son, who also got a kids menu for coloring. Off the bat we ordered him a kids cheeseburger meal, since we knew he'd be hungry asap. This came with a wildly-generous amount of fries and two cheese burger sliders. Our overall thought on the menu is that it's a bit high priced, but either way we were excited to give it a try! I stuck with water and my husband ordered a Stella from their large tap beer selection. He noted that it was hard to drink because it super really flat. As for food, I had a hankering for wings so I opted for the "Six Fired Smoked Wings" from the appetizer/shareable section of the menu. These were delicious, came dressed in a tasty bbq sauce, and had plenty of meat on the bone. Totally hit the spot! My husband went for the Bangers and Mash and was sadly disappointed. Granted he's from Northern England so he has high expectations, but I think the biggest crux was that there was no gravy (despite the menu listing there would be). If you're from the UK, you know having a classic dish like this without gravy is unthinkable ;) All in all, this is a beautiful venue and I hope to see it thriving in the coming weeks. As with any new establishment, they've got some kinks to iron out, so we'll have to plan a return at some point to give it another go.

There are tables and chairs, but it's tight and when it got busy with people coming to pick up their lunch, would feel weird sitting down to eat. Previous review stands (3/25/2022) This is another happy review. I'm happy to report that the burgers have improved significantly since my last review 4 years ago. Korean BBQThey toned down on the shredded cabbage and the sauce in the korean bbq burger. Everything balanced out much better than what I remember, and I could actually taste the kimchi inside this time. The meat was cooked to a nice medium, and travelled well in our to-go order. Soft Shell CrabThey put two whole deep fried soft shell crabs in one burger. Topped off with a lot of arugula, bacon and tomatoes. It was good, but not quite as balanced out as the Korean BBQ burger. I'm not quite sure what it is... Lacking some sauce?Overall, the place had some great burgers and I would definitely go back more often that I have recently. But there's a little bit missing still to give it a whopping 5 star review. Plus the buns were really bready... a little less dough would have been nice. And on the downside... the fries weren't awesome. They were ok. But felt more like baked fries than deep fried. In any case, I love improvements and having great joints in my neighborhood. In addition, at the same time I got the shake my daughter asked for a straw for her water and ended up giving me hers because I did not get one with my shake. Last, I asked for mayo and was charged $1.03 for it (as noted on my receipt) but this was given to someone else in our party. We ordered the Sassy Burger with fries (no mushrooms or onions), Chicken Tender Plate includes fries, Super Super Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and a chocolate shake and last a Cheeseburger with fries. Appears the prices on the menu at not up to date because they do not match the receipt (the Super Super is about $2.50 more than what the menu says and the Sassy even without two items on it was $2.00 more). In addition, if this is because the cost for using a card there should not be a cost such as this as if I am not mistaken the business is supposed to absorb the cost. Just a bit confused about this now that I pulled out the receipt to confirm what everyone ordered. This should certainly be discussed when ordering. Nonetheless, my meal was amazing. Moxie is kind of known for their martinis, and have a whole section on their menu for them, so naturally that's what I gravitated towards. I can't recall the name of the one I chose, but essentially it was Hendrick Gin, cucumber, and mint. So refreshing. My husband had a bourbon cocktail of sorts and really enjoyed it too. We weren't in the mood for full-dinner so instead shared the short rib medallions from the apps list. Those were tasty! Perfectly cooked braised short rib on top polenta medallions with bourbon-marinated peaches and cambozola cheese... what's not to love? We also had the caesar salad with chicken, which was crispy and hit the spot. Plan to spend a decent amount of $$ dining here, but you get what you pay for. All in all, a nice night!
