First time ever having a Culver's (from California) and I can say that this definitely hits the spot for a fast food burger! This Culver's is a step up from the usual. The staff is extra friendly and they go above and beyond with little details like centerpieces on the tables. I was disappointed that my fish sandwich, cheese curds, and mini ice cream was almost $20, but I suppose that's just the cost of things these days. The curds were okay-- a little too greasy to love. What happened? For a place that we rely on to be consistent today they were dreadful. Fish and chips were greasy and batter thin and falling off, salad was disgusting, bowl only half full of almost rotten lettuce, threw it away. Love Culver's food but stopped here for carry out and we waited for a very long time. One car ahead of us pulled up waiting and then the line behind us just piled up. Culver's is one of the best fast food restaurants you can find yourself at always! You can pretty much close your eyes and point at the menu and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. This location however, is one of the more sub par ones that I find myself at quite often because there aren't any others around here. The service is always great and they are essentially the burger version of Chic-Fil-A when it comes to politeness and attentiveness. The food is great like 90% of the time. I don't know why but every once in a while they will get your order wrong or give you a soggy bun and it just dampers the greatness you expect from a Culver's. The ambiance is fantastic. The employees are always nice, the tables and stations are clean most of the time, and the music is fantastic! It's a very unique vibe that I appreciate every time. Overall, Culver's is my favorite fast food establishment to date, but this particular location could put in a little more work into quality control. read more

First off don't get the fish sandwich they put enough fish into the "sandwich " that they would be better off putting it into a hot dog bun at least you wouldn't have bites of only bread. I also asked for extra Tatar sauce cause many places are light on it but I think by me asking for extra they went extra light cause there was barely any there. The only reason to pull it up from a 1 start to a 2 was the nice crisp crinkle cut fries. Otherwise I will skip a visit here if I would've known I would've gotten this meal for 9 dollars. I can't believe it's taken me this long to make it to a Culver's! I haven't had their burgers yet, but a while back, a couple friends exclaimed that I had to try their concretes, shakes, cheese curds. It happened that the first time I went was during Lent so they had a special Walleye sandwich. I'm not a religious person, but I can always get behind a fish sandwich; it's one of my comfort foods. :) So enter the Walleye sandwich. Husband and I both had one and enjoyed it. They also have an Atlantic Cod sandwich that's on their regular menu. I have to say the Cod sandwich edges out the Walleye in terms of execution slightly - the simple fact that the Kaiser bun it's on lends itself better to the texture of the fish, and it's packaged in a box so the bread doesn't get smushed. The Walleye sandwich unfortunately is packaged in a Cellophane pouch and creates a slight sogginess to the fish and bread from the steam. Flavors on both are good and fresh as well. At a $5 price tag, it's a great value too. We also like the French fries, but the cheese curds are ones to get. Finish it off with an Oreo concrete and the meal is very satisfying. Well I have mostly visited the Culvers in Birch Run. We eat at that location often and like it. We noticed this one in Grand Blanc after the movie we watched at Trillium so we decided to try it. The food was ok, however, that's where the positive news ended. The floor was so slippery you could barely walk on it. Most of the tables were filthy even though there were very few customers in there (less than 4 tables full... It was a Monday). The employees all gather together to talk by the front counter and let the restaurant remain filthy! While I was walking to the bathroom to wet a napkin to clean my table I nearly slipped to the ground on my bottom. I'm surprised at how filthy this is for a new restaurant. I got a sourdough burger and it was awesome! Fries were good. I got a side of chili and was not a big fan of. Had a sample of plain vanilla ice cream and that was good as well. The service was okay, but the food is not worth it. I went thru the drive thru to get a pretzel pub burger basket and a shake which amounted to $11.55. I was given my shake upon payment and then told to pull up, park and wait for my food. 12 mins later I had a cold burger and ten small French fries. Aside from the burger not even being hot, it was not good. There was nothing special about it at all. Hardly any flavor what so ever and the bun didn't even taste like a pretzel all though the bun was 15 times the size of the small hamburger patty. For $12 dollars go to a restaurant and get a quality meal. You'll be waiting about the same amount of time for the meal anyway. And seriously, Culver's...you have got to do better with the fries. They taste like they were frozen, then dropped in the fryer and the quantity is comparable to a kids meal. Never again will I waste a cheat meal here. read more

Honestly... I'm so dissatisfied. First when I ordered the women had an attitude. She wasn't friendly towards me at all. Then, I purchased a two scoop sundae with three toppings. The wait time for my sundae was small. However, I was given freezer burned ice cream that was gritty. It was the grossest texture. I have had Culver's ice cream before and I know it's not gritty. In addition, despite paying for extra toppings there was very little toppings. I've never written a bad review but I felt this one was too bad. read more
