Cute little cocktail lounge on the end cap of a strip mall. Didn't expect much but it was actually fantastic. Staff was super nice and didn't treat me any different cause I was working on my laptop. First I had a sazerac, and I can say with zero hesitation it was the best one I ever had. I could have drank that all night and been very happy. Next I was given a peach and vodka drink of some sort and it was also very good. Very light and refreshing and perfect for summer. Finally I wanted a Guinness Foreign, their 7% stout but she mistakenly gave me the regular Guinness. Since she already opened it I didn't make a big deal and had the regular Guinness. I was looking for cute weekend brunch spots to take my bestie and I decided to try this restaurant. We came in a Sunday and luckily were seated right away! It has a modern, trendy and intimate vibe and was very cozy. Side note, would definitely take a date here! Our server was pleasant and brought our order fast. Prices were fair too. We decided to split a mimosa flight (all good) and then I decided to order the pecan praline French toast and it was good. I will say it was a tad bit overcooked to my liking but it was still good, and I could still appreciate the pecan flavor profile. I cannot say enough great things about my experience yesterday evening! The wait was short, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was some of the best I've ever had. Our server, Jared, (hoping I spelled his name right) was EXCEPTIONAL! He memorized all of our names right away, which was impressive. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and provided food and drink suggestions for us. I ordered the roasted chicken that he recommended and loved it. The portion size was large, the vegetables were seasoned nicely, and the chicken and potatoes covered in mushroom sauce were delicious. Our table got the rosemary lemon pepper fries as an appetizer and I would highly recommend those too. The cocktails were aesthetically pleasing and tasted amazing. My girlfriend and I went here for brunch on Saturday after Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was nice, very green and relaxing. The service was good and quick. I ordered the stuffed french toast. The stuffed french toast was pretty lacking flavor wise and was covered in way too many blueberries. Would not order again. I am SO excited to have a place like this in Grand Blanc! We were driving to Estelle's to try it for the first time and I literally described wanting a place like this in GB and then we walked in! Every single thing we tried was delicious! Amazing lobster roll with simple fries! Great flavorful smash burger with simple fries! The Korean fries were so good and have a decent amount of shaved prime rib and the slaw on them is perfect. Key lime pie was yummy and a generous slice. We asked for something not sweet but that would pair well with our food. We were recommended the Paper Plane and it was so perfect we had three. Estelle's was pretty busy and happening' on a Friday evening. We waited for 2 people for about 20 minutes to get a table. The atmosphere is cool, and has an easiness to it that is to be admired. We appreciated the decor and the speakeasy vibe. Our waiter was very kind, but we found the overall service to be kind of slow. It took a while to get our drinks, and when we got them they were mediocre. It seemed like the drinks were rushed as the old fashioned had sugar crystals on the bottom that weren't incorporated fully. The Paloma was lacking in flavor, and it tasted like a mocktail. The food was where it was at though. The chicken curry tacos were an amazing blend of Indian and Mexican food. The pickled veggies and slaw made the dish so well balanced and it was truly delicious. The roasted chicken smothered in the mushroom sauce was also really good. The portion sizes were great as well. Food came out a lot quicker than the cocktails did, and were hot and fresh. Dessert options sounded amazing, but we didn't indulge on this visit. I think the spot is cool and unassuming (hidden in a strip mall), but they need to work on basic cocktails a bit. The decor of this place is SO CUTE! Love the pink & green! The light fixtures are very retro and chic, and even the bathrooms were decorated nicely! Their glasses for drinks were extremely cute too! The food was pretty good! Two of us got the smash burger, and the other two got the rigatoni pasta- both dishes were great! Our food (chicken and bolognese) was quite good, but the service was a bit slow and awkward. After a visit here, one could only hope that this is the catalyst for revamping the Grand Blanc dining scene that is as exciting as watching paint dry. Tucked in the former Cold Stone location, Estelle makes good of their space with seating for over a couple dozen, designed in modern flare. They have an extensive list of cocktails, many of which are exclusive to them, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages. But let's face it, you came here to eat. My wife and I started off with the labneh feta dip, which came in a large presentation easy enough for 4 people or more, but the two of us polished it off in minutes- soft pita bread and cucumber accompany the spread, with strong chunks of feta and dill throughout. For entrees, we selected the bolognese pappardelle and chicken curry tacos to share between us. The pasta, although can be found in other places, was cooked to perfection and extremely filling, not too heavy on sauce, meat, or pasta; a great blend. But the tacos, which are harder to find elsewhere, were sublime. Not heavy on the curry, the shredded chicken lays in a warm, soft naan shell and is topped with a creamy, crunchy coleslaw. You get 3, and even though she shared one with me, my wife had to take one home, as the appetizer was big and she wanted to save room for dessert. Yes they have dessert, even though it's not anywhere to be found in literature, and yes, you'll want some. Our server was kind enough to let us know that the chef's past experience included being a pastry chef, and so there were some hard choices to make, as everything is made in-house. We opted for the berry cheesecake, and were not disappointed. They give you a very large slice of it with some homemade whipped cream and berry drizzle on the side- almost twice the size of what comparable area restaurants offer. The damage wasn't bad- 2 handmade cocktails and the items above totaled to around $85 with tax. Slightly higher than the area average, but the quality and ambiance you get make it an excellent value! My only confusion with the establishment is its location at the foot of a strip mall anchored between a Kroger and Ace Hardware. A place like this deserves a more central location in town, but hey, whatever- it's working great so far! We'll be back soon! Helpful note- call ahead to get on the waitlist. They don't take reservations, and wait times can range from 30 minutes weekdays to over an hour on the weekend. Currently, they also open at 4pm, not 5pm as listed on the website. read more

Great ambiance. High end vibe with higher end food, with that considered the prices were pretty great too. Bar tender was knowledgeable and attentive. He may have been the owner. I got Korean spicy fries and they were amazing. The steak on them was perfect and blended well with the sweet BBQ and nacho cheese. Got the smash burger, the aoli on it was amazing, and I don't know if they did it on purpose but one of the patties was cooked medium and the other well and it was amazing. Fries were the perfect crispy texture with a tender inside and perfectly seasoned. With a side of the aoli, it was truly a great meal. Had an old fashioned that was pretty good too. Good: Marc and The hostess. friendly, helpful. The truffle fries were delicious. Bad: My group of five was told it was an hour wait. So we left our name and went down down the plaza to clean juice. We came back at 705pm and we were told we had been on the wait list for 38 mins. We waited at the seats my the hostess. Three other groups (smaller than 5) were sat before us, understandable. 3 of our group went to open seats at the bar. Finally at 75 mins waiting, there were 2 more seats at the bar. The hostess informed us the waiter said not to move two empty tables together due to a 6 table leaving momentarily. That 6 table left another 30 mins after all of us had sat at the bar. Once we all moved to the table and got our food, waitress came back once when we asked for our bill. Lobster roll was not worth $20. The whole experience and food was not worth the over an hour wait. read more

My wife and I had the smash burgers and another in our party had the lobster roll. The smash burgers were good, as you would expect a burger to be. There were two thin smashed patties that were cooked well. The buns were tasty as too. I would get them again. I could have used more salt on the fries, but there was none on the table. The lobster roll is the Maine style (cold). There was a large abundance of lobster, and my friend said it was good. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but there was limited seating (maybe there is another room that we did not see). It was a Monday night and there was only one waitress. She was good and pleasant, but never re-visited the table to see if we need more drinks, which we did. The menu had a good variety of selections. We would definitely go back, although it might be quite a wait on a Friday or Saturday (unless there is additional seating that I did not see). It is nice to see another decent restaurant open in Grand Blanc. read more

I've tried this place a few times and the food and drinks are actually pretty good. The Cauliflower Tempura is excellent! The labneh Feta Dip, not so much. To each his own on that one. Truffle Fries, yum! My main complaint, however, is the seating. The tables are awful. They're trying to squeeze as many tables in the small space as possible and it makes for very uncomfortable experience unless you're lucky enough to get a table in the back or along the window. The small round tables are not even big enough for 1 person but they will seat 2 people per round table located right along side the bar where people's arms, coats, handbags, and rear ends eventually end up dangerously close to your food. While sitting there the last time the hostess walked a family between our table and the bar to their table in the back and a little girl sneezed in our direction as she walked by. Mind you, it's less than two feet from our food. Yuck! There's no room for more than 2 plates and 2 drinks on the table so if you order from the appetizer menu you're in trouble before you even start. Both times I've been there I've been seated at one of these tables. Sadly, I don't think I'll be going back because of that. That said, the food is pretty good, the experience, not so much. I recently went here for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed! The location isn't ideal in my opinion, like I believe it deserves to be somewhere more visible from the main road but that's really my only complaint. The decor is beautiful and very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was very nice and drinks and food came out timely. As a former bartender myself I was impressed by the creativity and quality of the cocktails. I will definitely come here again. The food and drinks are quite good - and the ambiance make this just the type of place Grand Blanc needs. The challenge really is the size. The tables are extremely small - and that's if you can get one at all. My spouse and I were able to be seated at a small table on a weekday but next time I'd probably sit at the bar for more room. I wouldn't even try again to come here with more than 2 people or on a weekend because your odds of being able to get seated are low. We waited an hour and 10 minutes on a Thursday after being told 20 minutes for a party of 4 before leaving for someplace else. The staff really did their best to accommodate but seems like reservations at least for some tables might be a good improvement to a place with a lot of potential. read more
