Scott Mallon, the owner of this Culver's location, runs a great restaurant. I'll be back for sure.

This is a solid Culver's. I try and stop here whenever I'm driving between Minneapolis and Chicago because it's right off the interstate, close to a gas station, it's immaculately clean, and the staff are really friendly. Earlier this week I passed through and stopped in for a quick bite heading back to Chicago. A Culver's employee opened the door for me and greeted me. Nice touch! I get to the counter and before I open my mouth the gentleman behind the counter welcomes me to Culver's and asks me how I'm doing today. Again, nice touch. I ordered and waited only a few minutes for my meal to go. What's really cool about this place is on the door there is a sign that reads "Proudly owned and operated by Scott Mallon." I don't know Scott but this guy has a great restaurant with excellent employees. I hope he's proud. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Good food but very expensive. Why are all the girls working the counter and the boys in back cooking? Seems very sexist.

I can't get past all the grease and butter. It just doesn't settle well with me. On the plus side I like their onion rings and root beer!

Very good. Better than I expected. Reminds me of Wendy's when it was still good. We do t have Culver's here in Cleveland. Good job.

The gal who waited on my family was nice enough, but hard to hear, and she definitely had the full Gen Z stare thing going on. First, were the chocolate shavings. Then she added the smallest possible spoonful of pistachio cream, but that's probably how they are instructed to do it, so I guess I can't fault her. It literally disappeared into the ice cream when she mixed it. I watched her making my order the whole time, and noticed that she didn't add the kataifi. I asked her about it, but she insisted she did. Ok, maybe I suddenly went catatonic and didn't notice. I paid for the family, and we went outside to enjoy our ice cream. I was only a few bites in and it was very obvious there was so kataifi. I walked back inside to ask them to add it, but by this time, there were over a dozen people in line. Not worth the effort. But honestly, I wouldn't order it again anyway. Even with the kataifi I don't think it would have been great. It was a disappointing end to a disappointing day.

I haven't gone to one of these in years, and I'm glad I rectified that. Janesville isn't known for our exciting, awesome things to do. And yes, this is a chain ice cream store, but it's NICE! This location is very, very clean, there were so many options, including vegan ice cream!!!!! And a special shout-out to the awesome employee who assisted us and answered all my questions (and agreed to let me take pics for my review lol), Meredith, was SOOOO nice, patient, and helpful! I legit recommend this location if you're feeling up for some ice cream and anywhere around Janesville.

They have Jelly Bellies, Fudge, Ice Cream, and all sorts of interesting confections. The walls are LITERALLY covered with them. They also make authentic sodas with all sorts of flavors. I was on the hunt for raspberry sorbet, and they had it. The single scoop serving I ordered was very generous, and came with a pink spoon that changed to purple when it was cooled in the ice cream (Parents - keep this a secret and watch them figure it out!) This place is kept very clean. The list of stuff they have goes on quite a bit longer, I hit the high points. The service was good, the place was spotless, the tables didn't rock, and the ice cream was good. What's not to like?

Unfortunately, she wasn't there the day we came, but everyone else working was so friendly (sweeter than the candy, if you will). There was even some fun jazzy music playing while we were browsing and eating. Really all more that I needed was some pigtails and the patience for a lollipop, but alas. We got a 4pack of truffles, choco bars and other bits and bobs. There's your classics (fudge/licorice,etc) , some funky new ones (like these candy caps we got - sweet tasting mushrooms?), and even ice cream!
