I forget that Kilwins is a chain, because it always feels like a small local joint. We had a party of six looking for some sweets, and more than half of us chose ice cream. Kilwins offers kid favorites like Superman, but also flavors like Mackinac Island Fudge and cappuccino. You can get it in a cup or a cone, and they have kid scoops, too. Ice cream is not my jam, but chocolate is, so I got a variety of different chocolate-covered things, like a chocolate-covered s'more, chocolate-covered pretzels, chocolate-covered graham crackers and a chocolate turtle. I like chocolate a lot. There are a lot of different chocolate things here. They also make their own fudge, and if you're lucky and visit at the right time, you can watch them as they're mixing it on a big table. There isn't any seating inside Kilwins, so you'll need to take your treats to go. There are two entrances here, so we exited at the back and ate our desserts in the alley like a bunch of hoodlums.
