Went through the drive through and ordered a single cheeseburger plain with extra cheese, a double cheeseburger plain, small fries, and a chocolate shake. I waited 20 minutes for my food while people behind were getting their food. Was told after waiting 15 minutes that they were working on the shake. That shouldn't have taken 5 extra minutes to make a milkshake. Once I received my order I asked the person who brought the food why it took so long. His answer was "I don't know ". Unacceptable. They should at least give me some sort of answer. Then after getting home we received a triple cheeseburger plain and a double cheeseburger plain. The fries were limp and not very warm and the milkshake was like soup. Very disappointed because it's always been a great place before. We eat here frequently and trying to bet on whether the burgers will be dry and over cooked vs somewhat juicy and flavorful per visit, well the odds are not in our favor.....like tonight. I was already in a pissy mood, but the meal put it over the top. The burgers were dry, no flavor, and there was no catsup in the pump containers.....come on man....when ya wanna dip our fries, ya gotta fill the dispensers. Also when we ask a question, the whole restaurant gets silent and crickets chirp as the Culver worker stares blankly at me! Amazingly they are building another Culver's not more than 100 yards from the original building, so it will be brand new with the same lackluster food. Okay, so I'm giving Culver's 3 stars for a few reasons. For starters, I love the food. Always so hot and good. My issue is that the food has never been ready at the window, you ALWAYS have to pull forward to a spot and wait, no matter what you order. My other issues specifically with this is that the people running the food to the cars move at the speed of smell. What compelled me to write a review about my take out order of fish sandwich and coleslaw today was they went the extra step to put the cool coleslaw in a separate bag than the hot fish sandwich. I thought the food here was excellent. I had the double mushroom burger and the best part of it, well what made it awesome, was the bread was incredibly soft and delicious. There was plenty of meat and they didn't skimp on the mushrooms. The bread was buttery so there was no sauce needed. Their fries are the big crinkle cut kind and those can be kinda blah but these were very very tasty and I ate every last one of them. The service was fast, friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I will likely change my review to 5 stars but want to try them once again to see if the burger and service I got was just a fluke. Would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. read more

We love this Culver's! The food is consistently delicious and our orders are always correct. The kids like the custard, but I'm not a fan. I'm spoiled by Whit's. I almost always get the mushroom Swiss butter burger and I love it because they use fresh mushrooms. Their homemade root beer is a must! The fries with cheese sauce are very good, as are the fried cheese curds! Customer service could be more friendly, but they are fast, which is nice. read more

I came for the curds. I've been to other Culver's locations, and it's always for the curds. For a long time they were the only place around to get fried cheese curds. Now we have other options in Columbus, but Culver's is still handy for a quick fix. Now if I could just find squeaky fresh ones nearby... They also have greasy but good burgers, a few other sandwiches, soup, and of course frozen custard, all fine. This time I got the special Pepper burger. "Pub" bun, bacon, cheese, "4-pepper mayo." The bun and mayo were disappointing, but overall the burger was okay. I also got curds, of course. And their root beer. I think it was opening day, and they were busy. Service was good, though. Until recently, I had never been to Culver's. Now I'm a big fan! Fast food and fast casual spots are a mixed bag for me because of an unfortunate food allergy. Typically I end up with a sad burger salad-y thing. It's usually nbd though because I'm just happy to have something to eat. Well let me tell you -- Culver's is changing the game here! They have an extremely thorough and easy-to-navigate website when it comes to allergies and preferences. In about 2 minutes I was able to easily identify what I could eat and what I couldn't. The "could" list was much longer than I expected! But then something huge happened. It was like a light shined down from above and the angels sang: there was a gluten-free bun on the menu! I thought -- surely this can't be true. It must be for bigger cities or test markets... NO! They, indeed, did offer a gf bun! And it was a darn good one at that! It was soft but sturdy enough to hold together my delicious cheeseburger. In addition to that burger, I (obviously) ordered some custard too. Yum yum yum! Such a win. As if my gf fast food heaven weren't enough, the people at Culver's are incredible. So helpful. So kind. Truly awesome customer service. I may be late to the Culver's game, but that doesn't make my love any less real. We stopped here for a quick inexpensive lunch. I ordered the butter burger cheese burger. It was okay. My husband had the sour dough melt. The bread was greasy. The flavor was good. We split a frozen custard flavor of the day, double strawberry. I thought the flavoring tasted artificial. The custard was pink and it had real strawberries in it. My husband did not think the flavor tasted artificial. So he ate most of it. Our son got the Butter burger with bacon and cheese. He said t was greasy but tasted good. He also ordered fried cheese curds. All four of us tasted them and they were good. My son also ordered the double strawberry frozen custard. He thought it was really good. Our daughter ordered Pumpkin Carmel Mixer. She said it was 3 out of 5. All four of us said that Whit's frozen custard tastes better. The restaurant appeared clean. When you go in, you order at the counter. Hey give you a number and bring the food to your table. It's a fast food type of place and has a drive through. read more

It is always fresh to see food franchises pop up in small towns, but sadly, I was disappointed with this addition. From the little that I knew of the Culver's franchise--them being a prominent burger and frozen custard restaurant--I was excited to give their menu a shot. What first threw me off was the price of the value meal: ~$7.80. This is about what one would expect to pay at your every-day burger sit-down, but it threw me off guard because I ordered via the drive-through. I shrugged it off and assumed a higher quality/quantity. I ordered a Sour Dough Double Burger 'Value Basket' with a Pepsi, which wasn't anything fancy. I figured such a basic meal would do me well. Culver's runs on a number line system where I was told to wait with a couple of other cars. This wasn't that big of a deal, and if anything it adds a certain level of flavor to the Culver's experience. After paying for and receiving my food, I did notice that the level of customer service was very admirable and friendly. So now to the food... I have one word: Ugh. Now I have pretty low expectations when it comes to food because I have no problem eating a burger at most of the other fast food franchises, but this one was just distasteful in almost every way. The first thing I noticed was the amount of grease on my burger. My fingers were COVERED in grease and it just felt disgusting to even pick up the burger. The cheese tasted odd, which I'd never thought I'd use as an adjective to describe cheese. The burger itself just didn't taste thick or 'meaty'. There was a firm lack of taste with the lack of condiments. It would have been wonderful to have that option, but I assume most people like it plain/as is. Also accompanying the burger were onions. I can handle onions and small doses, but the onions sort of subdued the taste of the rest of the burger, ruining its desire even further. The fries, on the other hand, were fine. Fresh cut, warm and very edible. But unfortunately, fries weren't the entree. I was lucky enough to not want to eat much after the burger, so the fries sufficed. In conclusion, I know it's hard to place judgment on one meal alone, and I wouldn't at ALL mind trying another sandwich, but for one of the most basic meals on the menu, I just wasn't satisfied in the least. I just would not recommend a burger here who would rather have a quality cooked one for the same price. Culver's IS very interesting in general and has a great diversity in its menu! It's also quite family friendly. My advice would be to try a little bit of everything, especially the desserts, and go from there. But avoid the burgers (unless the above description is you thing of course)! read more

Staff gets a 5 stars.... atmosphere gets a solid 4.5.food, the burger I had was great, I dare say the best I've had in Marysville, BW3's might slightly edge them out, but just slightly. besides BW3's burgers are a fair bit more.So burger also gets a 4.5 the onion rings are definitely the 2nd best I've had in Marysville, BW3 again edges them out. Gram really liked their fries, she said the best in Msv, but I like the skinny non-crinkle cut, so I did not even try but they looked really good IF you like slightly thick crinkle cut fries so 5 there. I wanted to try their shrimp, they had a 3 piece, came w/ a slice of lemon, cooked well, was a solid 4, but I'm really very picky on shrimp. but crispy, came out hot ... good stuff. I also was curious about their 'cheese curds' Not bad, also 4+... maybe 4.25. Next time i want to try their Prime rib sandwich, so I'll update when I do. I'm also rather anxious to try their fried chicken.... For desert I went for the day's special custard Key Lime Pie custard, one scoop. I loved that is was NOT too sweet, so often I get a desert and cannot eat it because it's so sickly sweet, this was sweet enough to somewhat counter the lime's sour, was not that keen on the pie crust mixed into the custard, it did balance it well, flavor and even sort of texture wise... but it was a bit soggy, not badly, but a bit...which is to be expected... I just did not see that portion as appealing, if we do not count the crust, the custard was easily a 5. Wish they allowed 1/2 stars... they'd have received a 4.5 if I could... but not quite a 5, prices wee good, not great, but good I also like that they are recycling their plastic. I LOVE that they source all of their foodstuffs from FAMILY farms instead of huge "factory farms" Gram's bill was UNDER $5 I want to say it was like w/ tax $4.76? So she was quite happy... I tried so much. Sandwich the single mushroom Swiss, onion rings, cheese curds, shrimp... and custard w/ tax I was just over $13 ... so not uber cheap, but not terrible either. Well if you're looking for a fast casual burger I'd say Culver's hits the spot. Service was very kind and prompt like a fast foot joint, but the dining-in atmosphere doesn't feel like you're meant to just use the drive thru (if that makes sense). I went inside Culver's for the first time recently and was super grossed out by the awful, dirty smell of the restaurant. It smelled like pond and toilet water was splashed over every surface and left there to dry. I had to wait too long to place my order and when I finally got my food, the order was wrong. I walked back into the place and explained what was wrong about my order. I had to repeat it three times to the cashier about five times to the cooks who could not grasp the concept of making a cheeseburger with no tomato and no mayo. I raised my voice, I was beyond annoyed. I won't bother going in that place or through the drive thru again. read more
