I feel like the menu isn't as straightforward as I'd like and I always getting a wayyyyy bigger meal than I'd like and I can never seem to remember what I had before, just a general idea. This is a second location we have eaten in owned by Marilyn Knox. We ate the Ladson location today (November 29, 2025) and experienced the same poor food taste as a few weeks ago in the Summerville location that I also sent a complaint about. The burgers were dry, and the fries were crunchy hard today at Ladson as they were a few weeks earlier in Summerville. I told your CS when they had called about the poor Summerville store food that we would be trying the Ladson store because we wanted the Summerville poor food quality to be a one-off bad experience.... It was not just one store but both Ladson and Summerville owned by Marilyn Knox. I am not pleased with the food and am disappointed that the quality and preparation of your food has deteriorated to the degree it has. We see that there is a store in north Charleston that is not owned by Marilyn Knox and we will try that location to see if it is the whole Culver's change or just Ms Knox stores before we post on Yelp and other complaint boards. read more

absolute waste of money! the front counter people were nice,that's what got them the two stars. the kitchen was slooooowwww. We ordered the fish meal and the mushroom burger and it took nearly20 minutes. The fish was tasteless and cold the batter fell off of every piece. The burger tasted of nothing but salt. I guess the problem is this regional chain is to far from the mothership for there to be any quality control. I will never waste my money here again. read more

I went to Culver's and had a terrible experience today. I ordered a 2-piece cod dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw with Boom Boom sauce. When I got my order there was no coleslaw and the lady seemed aggravated. When she brought the coleslaw I told her the Boom Boom sauce was already open and I couldn't use it. The fish had obviously been sitting around for a while before they brought it to me - barely warm and the breading was mushy. I would advise you to try a different place. (Oh, but the mashed potatoes were warm). read more

Culver's hits right every single time. Burgers on point, hot with gooey cheese. Onion rings excellent. Fries perfect'. Chicken strips are very good. The side of Wisconsin cheddar to dip it all in ...delicious and the chili is off the hook. Best fast food around here. Not to mention always great customer service. read more

Food was fine. Taste was there but not the temperature. Reason: we (me, wife, and 2 kids under 2) ordered our fine in meal and sat down at a table inside. After 12 minutes I went to check on our order. I saw it was sitting on the counter but wasn't delivered to us. I sat down and waited. 6 min later I got up to see what was wrong. They were pushing carry out orders and drive thru but our meal was still on the counter. I kindly asked how our meal was doing and the gentleman looked back, looked at the meal and ensured everything was on it, and then just handed it to me. So I'm not sure what the hold up was but when I sat down my wife and I noticed the burger and fries were cold. The kids were fussy and ate maybe half of their portions. Quick date night with my bride while kids are at youth group. This is their new location. Ordered a Rootbeer Float from their menu board and the cashier didn't understand that they sold it. I had to point to the overhead menu for him. A manager had to assist. My wife ordered a small concrete mixer and we received "something" as a medium, but didn't have her toppings. Took it back up and they said to throw it away, we did, then asked us if they could give us the toppings on the side, even though the cup was already thrown away. SMH They made a mixer for her, but didn't mix in the ingredients. Probably our last time at this location. It's sad, we had high hopes, but will have to return to the Ladsen location. read more

Had a late night job to do and needed something to keep me awake for another 2 hours so I went to Culver's. I got a medium chocolate shake after finishing it I immediately got sick and felt something was wrong after 3 minutes of finishing it and felt fine before drinking it. Idk if someone that was working that night handled my food that was sick or what but I shouldn't have to take mucinex dm the next day and take cough drops as my throat was than filled with mucous. I knew I was getting sick minutes after drinking it and nothing else made sense for why I immediately got sick. Just saying something did not go right and not going back period. Just going to point out I am NOT allergic to chocolate or whatever they use to make shakes as I drink shakes from other restaurants just fine. read more

We have been to this Culver's many times and most often I would rate them 4.5 to a 5. Yesterday I had a burger, fries and a shake. The fries and shake were a 5 but the burger was lousy. Nearly cold,hard slice of cheese just thrown on it and overall well below average. In today's competitive world Culver's you need to do better. The people who work there are great! I'll give you another chance but it's going to take a while for me to come back. read more

Attitudes of the employees here are ridiculous and manager at the time did nothing. One cashier with 6 or 7 employees behind doing nothing but talking on cell phone and bent over the counter talking with kitchen about nothing. People are afraid to call the attitude of the employees. read more

We have been to the Culver's at Ladson and we had a very good experience. We were coming home from downtown Charleston and thinking of something to eat for dinner. My son said he wants Culver's. We found out that they opened this branch in front of Tanger and we went. We noticed that the front staff taking orders were still learning, that's okay! We also informed them about my 7-year-old son's severe food allergies (peanut, tree nuts, milk, soy, avocados). The screen at the order counter also said to inform the staff about allergies. There was a lady that approached the counter and said she will inform the kitchen staff. I told them it's importance because reactions could be fatal. Also I asked to please change gloves in preparing our meal. The order took a little while but I understand since they just opened. We enjoyed our meal and my son didn't have allergic reaction. I hope they will continue to be strict when it comes to food allergies and continue to educate their staff about food preparation safety when it comes to allergies.
