I go to Culver's every time I'm near a location and this one didn't disappoint. I ordered a butter burger kids meal with fries and later got some custard. Was with a friend so we ordered and sat down. Got our orders in just a few minutes which was great cause we were STARVING. My burger was delicious and I love that they have crinkle cut fries. Definitely some of my favorites. I had a free scoop coupon for the custard so I got chocolate with cheesecake pieces and wow!!! They definitely don't skimp on the topping!! I wish that we could add half stars. If I could I'd give it 3.5 stars. The food was okay and filling. Would I go out of my way for a Culver's burger probably not. I tried their limited time Colby Double Burger. It had Colby cheese, fried onions, and their A-1 pepper sauce. For a speciality burger I was a little disappointed. It tasted well and was a good burger and very filling. The service was excellent the cashier at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The dining area was kept very clean. The dining area attendant was spot on. Every time a table became available she was on it cleaning for the next customer. The drink and condiment counter was stocked and clean. Culver's has become a regular stop for my crowd. It's considered fast food but they always deliver beyond expectations. When ordering at the counter the staff is knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions. The fish and chips is always an excellent choice. On my last visit it was a late night stop just for their custard and it was so creamy and delicious. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always personable. We're lucky to have Culver's as a quick and easy stop without long waits and no reservations needed. Sometimes you just need a quick meal without a plan where you know you can count on the quality. This. Is one location that I was hopeful would be as good as the Summerville location... Nope... When we arrive , the young lady that was at the front counter seemed to only understand we can't do that as her answer for everything that we normally do when we go to the other locations. She seemed incredibly bothered that we were asking her questions about the ice cream choices for the kids meals but seemed helpful when she said it was cheaper to build a burger versus ordering what I was ordering. I guess she just had a fluctuating day lol... I will say the food was good and the natives were happy, but they need is to up their game on hospitality. read more

Culver's is amazing! Their food is so fresh and the menu is pretty impressive. Best of all, the staff is always super friendly. It's not hard to tell that the staff enjoys working there. Speaking of staff, Sharon is sooo nice. I've only been to Culver's 3 times, but she was there during all my visits. And during each visit, she asked if I was enjoying my food and if I needed anything else. She literally asked the same to everyone she made eye contact with. We were in the area and decided that we wanted ice cream. Pulled up to the drive thru to order and got a medium concrete mixer and a small mixer, but they rang it up as 2 mediums - whatever, not a big deal. Got the the window to pay, they put a tag on the mirror assigning us a number, but told us to just stay there and not pull around like the other care before us had. The staff was young. They weren't rude, but you could tell their age. Ice cream/custard is tasty and they put plenty of the mixers in there, so you could certainly taste them. read more

I've now been to Culver's a few times so I feel like I've got a better idea of what they're all about. While they are considered fast food, I feel like they are a level up on most fast food experiences and quality. The burgers are great and my friend loves the fish platter which I've tried and is surprisingly good. What sets them apart is the extras! I love cheese and they take cheese seriously. You can get a cheese sauce to dip your fries in that is so good and their cheese curds are more flavorful than any other fried cheese bites I've had. Most of all it seems that I can't leave without getting a cement mixer. My go to is chocolate ice cream with heath bar and peanut butter cups... so good. I just realized recently that they have a drive thru that I used on my last visit. What I've found is that whether you go inside or through the drive thru, the wait is still longer than standard fast food, but I have to think that has to do with making things fresh so I'm cool with it. read more

No one is cleaning the dining area, floors are a mess. The staff is in the weeds. Customers are driving away without their orders because they have been waiting in the drive thru for so long. Ownership needs to take a long look at how this Culver's location is being mismanaged. A surprise visit by regional management would be time well spent. Staff was friendly, but the order taker spoke so softly we couldn't hear most of what she said. You order/pay at the counter, get your own drink, then sit down wherever you like. They'll bring your food. The double butter burger was very good; love the thin crispy patties, which gives a nice char flavor. Note that everything comes a la cart; you can make it a meal with one side and drink for additional cost. Even some of the burger toppings cost an extra 30 cents, like tomato and cheese. Most toppings are free. The wifey said her bacon mushroom single patty burger was also really good. The fries are large cut and pretty standard flavor. The onion rings were good, actually better than I expected for a fast food place. They have several other side items if you want to branch out from the standard fries. They also have other items like chicken sandwiches, milkshakes with many options, and some seafood if that's your preference. Bought a Double Butter burger cheese with ketchup & mustard and side of crinkle cut fries. They say the burgers are made to order. It did take at least 5-10 minutes to receive my food. I could've used a little more mustard & ketchup. There wasn't anything that stood out about the meal. Crinkle cut fries ate my favorite, but these were meh. This is a second location we have eaten in owned by Marilyn Knox. We ate the Ladson location today (November 29, 2025) and experienced the same poor food taste as a few weeks ago in the Summerville location that I also sent a complaint about. The burgers were dry, and the fries were crunchy hard today at Ladson as they were a few weeks earlier in Summerville. I told your CS when they had called about the poor Summerville store food that we would be trying the Ladson store because we wanted the Summerville poor food quality to be a one-off bad experience.... It was not just one store but both Ladson and Summerville owned by Marilyn Knox. I am not pleased with the food and am disappointed that the quality and preparation of your food has deteriorated to the degree it has. We see that there is a store in north Charleston that is not owned by Marilyn Knox and we will try that location to see if it is the whole Culver's change or just Ms Knox stores before we post on Yelp and other complaint boards. read more

I never heard of Culver's and had worked out, showered and my husband and I had both kids in tow to go to the outlets and if ya know ya know that's a workout in itself, so as soon as we got them in the stroller, I was like ok I'm starving!!! lol! We didn't even make it to one store. When we were riding by I saw that this was new to the area. I am usually not one to eat fast food chains, but my Husband asked for me to give it a shot, I guess having one to many drinks the night before, helped in this decision making process Anyways, he got the Double Culver's deluxe (Wisconsin cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, pickles, sweet red onion and our signature mayo with a lightly buttered, toasted bun) with crinkle fries and I got mine with onion rings! I went to Culver's and had a terrible experience today. I ordered a 2-piece cod dinner with mashed potatoes and coleslaw with Boom Boom sauce. When I got my order there was no coleslaw and the lady seemed aggravated. When she brought the coleslaw I told her the Boom Boom sauce was already open and I couldn't use it. The fish had obviously been sitting around for a while before they brought it to me - barely warm and the breading was mushy. I would advise you to try a different place.
