Always fresh food, I've never had a problem with that at any Culver's. This one is very clean and fast, the employees were friendly too. During the ordering process and when they brought our food. my only issue here is being charged for ranch. If ur gonna charge for condiments, then you should be asking if I need them when I order. I ordered a cheeseburger. They have always been great. This cheeseburger reminded me of something leftover. The bun was so smashed, I can't describe it. The burger was lukewarm and the cheese had just been slapped on cold. My fries were also lukewarm warm. Not something I expected from Culver's. I had the Culver's Bacon Deluxe at the Riverside location on 09/04/24. The patties were dry as sand from being overcooked, the bacon was straight up burnt, and the vegetables were haphazardly thrown on. It was an awful experience. Meanwhile, my buddy ordered a fish sandwich that gave any other competitors in the fish sandwich department a run for their money - not only did it look luxurious and tasty, my buddy chowed it down happily. I used to count on Culver's to provide a superior burger experience in a sea of mediocre fast food places, but for the last few years I have found their burgers consistently disappointing. Stopped by to pick up an order and gave the name when I arrived. After about 20 minutes, I asked again and it turns out the food had been ready the whole time. Would've appreciated a heads-up or at least a quick apology. Lay off the green. read more

My family and I come to this location every Sunday, we've never had any issues. But as the old saying goes "it only takes one". After our families meal we went up and all ordered custard. We waited a good 10+ mins. By the time we got our custard both sundaes and concrete mixers were very melted. I went up to ask for one of the sundaes to please be remade, the cashier was happy to do so and handed it over to a young male employee to remake- another young male employee then intervened and said "don't remake that it's because of the hot fudge" to which he came over to me and said "I'm not going to remake that because you had hot fudge on it and it makes it melt." I looked at him stunned and said "all of our custard is melted not just this one" he said "I'll remake the concrete mixer but I'm not remaking the sundae" which left me shocked as a concrete mixer is by far thicker and would take a while to start melting vs a single scoop- which in my eyes proved my point that the custards had been sitting on the counter entirely too long. he sent another employee over with the replaced concrete mixer. When we went to leave, I noticed a manager was now up front as there wasn't one during the previous issue. I brought the now totally liquid sundae and let her know that since her employee refused to remake our dessert they could indeed keep it. She looked at me shocked and said "I'll remake it no problem" and I let her know we lost our appetite since we were refused service. She immediately looked at her employees and asked "who did this" unfortunately, the damage was done and we left feeling very uncomfortable and upset with our trip. read more

We really enjoy coming here. Their food is very tasty and the people that work here are very nice and are exceptional at customer service. The orders have always been fast and accurate. The location is always clean and well kept both inside and out. At times, employees here have gone above our expectations. Most recently, my son has been collecting the drive through numbers and when I mentioned it to an employee, they were kind enough to supply him with a pack of numbers. This made my son extremely happy and as a result it solidified my belief that this is one of those good places with really good people. I highly recommend this spot. We used to go here frequently but the last couple of times have been a huge disappointment. The issue was missing items in the order. This via both online and drive thru ordering. Spoke to the manager who exudes a spirit of 'get over it.' In one instance Culvers failed to provide compensation for the missed items. Cold fries, shakes are just like drinking chocolate milk because they are so runny, and the amount given is much less than other locations (ie coleslaw, etc). I don't know what is happening at this particular location, but go somewhere else with your hard earned money. It just isn't worth it. read more

This Culver's is consistent and good, cranking out the standard Butterburgers, cheese curds, and custard. I tried the cod sandwich and really liked it, even more than the burgers. This is a nicer than average fast food place that has variety and some classic comfort foods. read more

Culver's was a staple for a lot of my friends when we were in college so when we were all reuniting for a friend's wedding, I convinced my friend to stop here for lunch. Culver's is ridiculous but in a good way. They're known for their custard shakes, cheese curds, and butter burgers. Back in the day, I would have ordered the whole deal - custard shake, cheese curds, and butter burgers but my stomach wasn't what it was like then so I can only handle a butter burger and the split the cheese curds. Unfortunately, the cheese curds at this place was overcooked and maybe due the recession, the patty wasn't as thick as it used to but I went to Culver's in WI and not in Rockford. Different franchises, different expectations? I don't know but I couldn't give them less than 5 stars because I'm such a fan. Plus, the associate who created the chocolate shake for my friend told us she gave her a bit of custard which was really nice of her. read more

I see as participating in the Fry day of Culver's, bit of a treat for myself. I ordered a double deluxe meal, only mustard lettuce, tomato, medium fry, drink. Smelled great. Fries being a forbidden element, well was really great! I do not eat buns so mustard on bun then shredded lettuce. Ugh@ nearly tasteless and soooooo messy. Try to put things like mustard near the meat. I know I am not a common customer, and not likely to be too often. You need to offer a low carb idea. I find a lot of my visits are because of friends. After they gave him the wrong order, he complained and tried to return the food, but they made him keep it (fish & shrimp ), understandably, due to Covid. You can't go wrong with the Concrete but plan ahead as it will account for a large portion of your daily caloric intake.

We arrived here and the management was rude, as the lady taking orders stood with her back to us for 3 minutes after being instructed to take our order. The Culvers company should really appreciate the greatest bunch of young adult associates and manager at their East Riverside Rockford, Il location. They are a total Welcoming Committee to the customers as they enter. Always smiling, always helpful at the counter. They really deserve 10 stars. I have been to several other Culvers in the area, but this East Riverside group really shines. The only thing I wish the Culver company would do is have their restaurants post a weekly "soup" menu. It could either be posted on-line, or part of an automated telephone menu. Waited in drive thru staging area for 25 minutes, inquired about our order 3 times and finally got our food after I got a little huffy-chested with the manager.
