Ordered the butter burger value meal. The burger was dry and burnt. They applied a huge amount of mustard on one side and only one onion ring. I asked for mustard and onion but pretty much got a burnt dry burger that they gave a bath with mustard to probably try to Cover up the bad burger. Asked for cheese for the fries and both containers I paid for were only a 1/4 filled. I would nut recommend this particular restaurant. read more

Why does this restaurant have only three stars??? As opposed to other fast food places in the area (McDs, Popeyes), the food is ALWAYS fresh, and tastes great! Staff is most always nice. Restaurant is always clean and mostly quiet unless there is a family with loud kids. They can't really control that though, and you kind of have to expect that with fast food. This place is terrible service,. We went there on Friday and purchased a 2 Butter Burger Deluxe,a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, 2 large fries and large onions rings. They did not put the second spicy chicken an in the bag. With traffic backed up, (SomerNite Cruz week) it was not worth it toe fight the all the traffic on US 27 and back thru the drive thru again. The lack of attention to detail of employee here is amazing, look at the ticket, count the number of items in the back. Customer Service is a thing of the past, people do not want the aggravation of having to go back and complain, and this is every time. Management needs realigned and employee training and hiring needs ot be better. The customer continues to get screwed in this day and time. I would have given it less than 1 star but that is not a option. Hopefully this will draw attention to the problem and the management will correct this. read more

Culver's used to be the paragon of excellent for fast food in Somerset. it opened around 2011-12 and the previous owner Scott Hail always ran a tight ship and would often get right in the middle of business and take orders and take the food to customers when it got busy. I always loved the food and service when I would visit. new management took over in 2024 and the quality of the food mostly stayed the same but the customer experience took a dip. Some of the same people stayed on staff, but orders can often take a lot longer to be made and orders come out wrong much more often. They ask if you want ketchup now instead of just giving but when you say yes a lot of the time they forget ketchup. Sometimes my ice cream order is wrong and I've spent so much time waiting I don't bother to get it fixed because the lunch break is only so long. One night my family and I went there and got dinner and they forgot our order. It took 40 minutes from order til we had it in hand. To be fair to the owner the owner gave us a couple coupons for future visits. Long story short, you can tell it's been bumpy after the ownership change but it's still one of my top fast food options as a local of Somerset and generally would recommend. read more

We were passing thru and stopped for a quick meal. I dont eat hamburgers so i got a fish sandwich. It had too much condiments and was sloppy. Culver's has only been at this location for a couple of years, but seems to have found that special "niche" for the fast food connoisseur that is your typical American. They have excellent burgers (The Butter Burger), that are fresh and extremely tasty while have good french fries and also excellent onion rings. Not limiting themselves to only burgers and the usual fare, they excel at hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, etc. All which are fresh and extremely tasty. Now we come to the really good part, they have ice cream. Not only ice cream, but very good ice cream! It seems to be a combo between soft serve and the regular scoopable type. Very creamy and rich, it's hard to beat for ice cream from, again, a fast food place. Also, they feature a new flavor everyday and they delve into some rather nice, almost exotic special flavors. Good stuff and recommended as a fast food break from the "other" fast food chains. read more

If you are looking for a restaurant with quick service, friendly staff, and excellent quality, Culver's in Somerset is the place to go. My fiance and I have eaten here more times than I can count and have never had a bad experience. Their butterburgers are so tasty. We usually get the Culver's Bacon Double Deluxe with everything (have to ask for ketchup and mustard if you want it on your sandwich). The burgers are juicy and the quality of the beef they use really makes a difference in the taste. They are always hot and the lettuce, tomato, onion are always fresh. For sides, the fries, cheese curds, and cole slaw are delicious. Although the butterburgers are popular, they have other items that are delicious as well. One of my faves is the cod sandwich. The fish is so flaky and the batter they fry it in is delicious. The sandwich is dressed with cheese, lettuce, and a yummy tarter sauce. I recommend getting fries and some of their creamy Cole slaw to go with it. Other menu items I've tried are the pot roast, fried chicken, and of course the frozen custard. I've never had a bad meal. With food prices continuously rising, I want to eat at places where I know the food is consistently good. That is why Culver's has become one of favorite places to eat. I have eaten at several Culver's locations. The first time I ate at this one was a couple years ago and the burger was dry and not tasty at all. We decided to give the place another try today. Burger was again dry, overcooked and when ordering it I asked them to hold the ketchup so they apparently replaced the ketchup with double the mustard. I guess they have to lubricate the dry meat and bun with something so it will go down. I won't ever be going back to this Culver's restaurant. read more

We went through the drive thru and needed to place two separate orders, you would think that would be simple, wrong as hell we were! Trying to convey that concept to the person taking the order over the loud speaker was a mission and a half! First she thought we were ordering for the vehicle behind us. Really?!? Why the hell would we do that? Second, after thoroughly explaining to her that it's the same vehicle-just two separate paying orders, it took forever for us to get our drinks, which she asked us several times to confirm which ones were ours. Is it not on your screen from the first time we placed our order and the same since that last time you confirmed it with us?!? Now get this... including both orders, we only ordered a whopping 4 drinks. I know, extremely complicated, right?!? I've been to a Culver's before, in Port St. Lucie, Fl, and it was a much different experience. I believe it all boils down to management. This one needs to get it together.
