My husband and I came here on July 4th. It was not super busy and to be honest, since the parking lot was pretty deserted we had a hard time figuring out if this business was open or not. It's very spacious inside with a bit of room to dance and some seats available by the bar. We were greeted by the server/host/bartender/DJ. We opted for waters and just ordered a little bit of everything--quarter of a rotisserie chicken, stuffed avocado (chicken, veggies, sauce), Yuca fries. The fries came with two types of sauces: cilantro and one with a pepper base that wasnt super spicy. We were able to use this sauce for the rotisserie chicken and the Yuca fries. While waiting for the food to be prepared, our host/server/bartender/DJ asked if we were interested in dancing or if we liked music. Since we were fine with whatever, we were treated to some loud latin dance music. It as a fun vibe. At around that time, we received our food. The rotisserie chicken was very flavorful and easy to chew. The avocado and chicken was good for me, although it had more than enough celery for my husband (not his preference). The fries were delicious and are a generous portion that can be shared. Nice, hot, crispy, flavorful. I did also add on a tiramisu for dessert. One of the better ones I've had. The staff was nice enough to write out a message in chocolate syrup before plating the dish. Although we were the only ones in there prior to closing and they were trying to create a lively atmosphere, I applaud the effort. If you haven't tried this place rotisserie chicken you need to! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! The waiter's name was Jefferson, I think, great service we I will definitely be back. It is located in the TradeWind Center (where Rose's ) is in Somerset, KY right off of US HWY 27. The place is quiet and does have a Peruvian feel to it if you're into Peruvian and Latin American culture. The place was clean, and it was empty when we arrived, though a few tables came in shortly after we go there, Over all the food was very good, the wait time was little and staff was ultra friendly . Phenomenal experience! For the uninitiated, Peruvian cuisine has some immigrant elements - and our fried rice with some of the best we have ever had at any kind of restaurant! The Huacachina of Somerset! This is a fantastic Peruvian oasis in the heart of Kentucky with authentic Peruvian flavors and service. Jeferson is a wonderful host and shows so much passion with how he operates the restaurant. The rotisserie chicken is wonderful to Peruvian standards and the accompanying sauces are also tremendous and take me back to when I lived in Peru. I must give them a five. The food and the service are both above par. The cost is average for the type of food, and the ambience/décor is lovely. Their rotisserie chicken is divine! Tender and flavorful, the seasoning is something you will not find anywhere else in Somerset. I am not a big fan of rice, but I will eat their fried rice anytime. , Special mentions: ANTICUCHOS - diced cow's heart, tender and tasty. We tried it on a whim and were pleasantly surprised at the flavor and tenderness of the meat. YUCA FRITA - Every time I have eaten the fried cassava, it has been prepared perfectly! Crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Finally, I must mention the dessert. I always order flan. On my first visit, Jefferson convinced me to try the Tres Leches Cake (I have never been a fan). He promised me I would love it. He was correct, absolutely! Fabulous lunch! Great food - we had the chicken quarter, a steak dish, and three different sides - all delicious, beautifully served, with generous portions. Jeff was our excellent server who made great suggestions without being pushy. The dining room was very attractive and comfortable. Couldn't recommend this place enough!! The food is incredible, there is something for everyone and the taste is very aromatic and refreshing while still hearty and filling. The staff was so friendly and make you feel like family the moment you sit down. The table we sat at had crayons and each table has parchment paper so you can draw while you wait. My boyfriend drew a cross and bible verse, and Jefferson (the owners son) even offered to pray with us the next time we visited before we eat:) (we ended up praying anyways!!) Our waitress was phenomenal and so kind and attentive, but not overbearing. They will gladly answer any questions about the food, culture, and other aspect of the restaurant. Tasty Peru has become one of our favorite restaurants in Somerset. The food is delicious and the service is always incredible! Jeferson is so friendly and is always offering good menu suggestions or sharing interesting info about his Peruvian culture. The other servers are so kind as well! The rotisserie chicken is flavorful and moist and well-priced. The fried rice is insanely flavorful and delicious and a great side dish to the chicken. Don't forget the sauces!! Green, yellow, red, or white, you can't go wrong with any of them as they boost any dish with great flavor. The Lomo Saltado is a tender steak dish with onions and tomatoes and has the most vibrant flavor and is definitely a favorite! Besides the amazing food and service, the restaurant is family-friendly and offers clean linen-covered tables with white paper on top and they provide a cup of crayons that help keep the kids(and adults!) entertained as they can draw on the table. Such a fun addition to the experience and helps us parents not feel so guilty for the messy eaters! This restaurant was a let down. We didn't get our drinks until after we finished our food. The service was stretched thin with only one person servicing the whole restaurant. The man managing the front was unprofessional for demanding we pick a tip amount that he picked. He also did not give a copy of the receipt of what payed. I do not recommend. read more

This place is phenomenal! I got the grilled steak and onions, it came with white rice, and fries. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. My husband got a combo with a fourth of a chicken, fried rice, and fries! He loved everything on his plate. The Golden Kola is also amazing, it reminded me of a cream soda.
