The food was fine, as it usually is, but I am won to say that there are too many people behind the counter. Doing nothing and speaking too loudly and, at times, inappropriately. I don't want to hear the staff say, "I wanna go home," while I am sitting inside and dining. Tighten it up, kids. read more

We had a coupon for this location so we dropped by. It was better than I was expecting based on the reviews, we did have to wait a bit for our cement mixers and burger but the place was busy (as always for a culvers). I have eaten at Culver's in Kansas many times and have had good experiences. Today in a trip I stopped at a Culver's in Clear Lake, IA. I was disappointed. My gluten free bun was not heated as it always has been at other stores. The fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The flavor of the day was pumpkin pecan and that was really good. read more

Yikes, we walked in and got in line to order but then ended up leaving without ordering... the counter area was swarmed by flies, I looked behind me and the garbage was overflowing, an employee came over and pushed the trash down with her bare hands inside the can but then went behind the counter and disappeared around the corner. We saw at least 15 flies including two that were wrestling on the counter. I was tempted to swat them with a magazine myself but the more I saw the more grossed out I was so I decided to leave. I hope this was an isolated incident but I will not be going to this location again. read more

Culver's is Culver's-y. You pretty much always know what you're going to get and this location is no different than any other. The food was hot and fresh and delivered to our table promptly. The staff was mostly teenagers, and they were friendly and had a good run of the place. Usually I would give a Culver's four stars, but this particular location had a couple of hiccups. The ladies rest room is set up really poorly - when walking in I almost bashed the woman washing her hands with the door because it swings open right into the sink area with very little room in between. I was also almost hit when washing my hands - unless you are right up to the sink you're in the way of the door. Our food was delivered without any napkins or silverware; not a huge deal but most locations will bring them to you with your food. I was easily able to grab napkins at the condiment counter, but had to wait in line at the register to get utensils. The "BBQ Beef Special" is a sloppy joe. Considering that they serve pot roast, it was a bit of a surprise that the $5 sandwich looked like a cafeteria cast off. My mother called sloppy joes barbecue when I was growing up, so it's probably a Wisconsin thing, but it's not at all what my boyfriend was expecting and probably not what the average person thinks of when they see the term BBQ. Not a bad visit by any means, but compared to other locations this one falls just a little short. read more

Great environment, good people, food is excellent and they work hard to remember your name and see you are taken care of.

I've been going to this Culver's for three years and it has a great staff of custard scoopers. Inside is your usual Culver's set up; tables, booths, counter to order your fast food and condiment counter. Even a few TVs playing sports and commercials for Culver's. I can't imagine the business it must do being by the only stop light for miles and miles. But their high school aged staff are always pleasant and quick, even during the large black out I bought custard during once. If you can't tell by now, my recommendation is to pick up 4 pints of custard from the freezer for $8.99. read more

This Culver's is like any other Culver's. I had the fish sandwich and enjoyed it. The kids had cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. I requested applesauce with all three instead of fries but got one with applesauce and two with fries, but it wasn't the end of the world and the kids barely noticed. Culvers is Culvers is Culvers. They are basically all the same. Staff was friendly and quick, and the place was well maintained and very clean. Food is served hot and fresh to your table. No quality issues here. So if you like Culvers, you'll like this place too. Just don't make the same mistake I did. On a hot summer evening, I ordered some custard in a cone to go. Ended up wearing most of it home on the front of my shirt. Next time custard in a cup. Live and learn. read more

Very bad experience. The manager on duty was incredibly rude. Every time someone in my family asked a simple question she acted as if we were asking her to tell us 1+1. It was incredibly rude considering we had only ever been to one other Culver's. I would recommend staying away from this restaurant. The staff was ok besides the rude manager. None of them went above and beyond to make the experience more enjoyable. Not worth my time or money. read more

Probably the worst Culvers in Wisconsin! Staff was rude and unprofessional. Team members taking selfies in the kitchen when they should be cooking. Took forever to receive our order when it wasn't even busy. Burger came out burnt and the sundae was pretty melted by the time we got it. So unorganized. Service was slow. They didn't have enough fried chicken for my 4 piece order and had to cook more. Took about 20 minutes.. I'm sure the fries were cooked some time that day, just not very recently. They had a dry outer shell filled with what seemed to be mashed potatoes. Fried chicken was good, not greasy. read more
