I was shocked at how thin the burger meat was. A single was like eating a McDonalds hamburger. Come on, put some meat on it!!

The food here is always good and the custard slaps. Never encountered a rude employee and the environment is fantastic. Tables are always clean and bathrooms are always up-kept. Ice cream portions are very small. Don't get 2 scoops -you pay extra for not much more ice cream and the same toppings as a 1 scoop. Ice cream was scooped too early, by the time we got to the window, it was already dripping off the cone (it wasn't that hot out) and my husband wasn't able to enjoy his cone bc he was racing to eat it before it ruined his clothes and got on the car seats. Always enjoy finding a Culver's when traveling. It's a wonderful place to stop for a meal or just a treat. The facilities are clean, the team is friendly and the food has never disappointed. Oh I didn't review? Strange... I'm grateful they have a veggie burger. It's not on the menu so simply ask. I load it up with all that's available because when in Rome... Now, what's a little different than being in Rome is having the option of cheese curds instead of just fries and/or onion rings. They are fun and delightful. So much fun to those of us who didn't grow up with these like the mid-Westerners did (where Culver's originates). I guess our kinda version in the tristate area is fried mozzarella but these little curds are way more fun. Now, the ice cream situation upsets me. I want my chocolate sprinkles yet they only offer rainbow sprinkles. This last visit I left and drove 30 minutes to an ice cream shop to get vanilla soft serve and chocolate sprinkles. When I drove down 95 from nyc, I did partake in the rainbow sprinkles at a Culver's in Georgia only to have a sugar fix to keep driving, but the rainbow ones really bum me out. They do offer nice sized ice cream cartons to go. I wouldn't be opposed to trying those one day. I probably just need to carry chocolate sprinkles in the Porsche just in case. Idk... Anyway, this is a nice and clean location with an outdoor patio. The staff couldn't be friendlier. And, I think there may be daily specials you can get if you're a meat eater. Oh, I got green beans too, I forgot. Cheese curds and green beans with the veggie burger. That was a fun day off from healthy eating. Absolutely so. read more

Went through drive through. Gave the cashier a $20 bill. She gave me change for a $10 bill. Argued with me. Manager is going to check her cameras and get back to me. Guess the cameras aren't working because I never heard back. 20 bucks for a lukewarm burger and coke seems a little high. I know mistakes happen but I think the cashier just took herself a good tip. Cod sandwich was delicious. Inside of restaurant was far too cold. Tried outside seating. All fans running at high speed when the temperature was 68 degrees was even more uncomfortable. Went in to buy two of their ice cream pints. On the freezer door, it says "please ask for assistance". I went to the counter and just said I'd like to get two pints. The girl asked what flavor, I said I wasnt sure yet but it says I need to ask them to open the door (not like this in Clermont, FL). She needed to know my flavors and when I told her, she rang them in as flavor of the day. Then I hear someone yell "WE DO NOT HAVE ANY PINTS OF FLAVOR OF THE DAY!!" I said, no, I just want these two (I picked two random ones). At this point, the cashier, the girl making ice cream, and the manager got involved. Like holy crap. Give me these two. I'll give you money. Why is this so complicated? Why have a freezer full of pints if it's this hard to purchase them? I'm still confused, but won't be back so it's whatever. read more

While craving a hamburger, I came across Culver's. The food was awesome- great burgers, onion rings, soup, dessert.....Leslie- the counter person- was amazing! March 2022 update: Very uneven service and food at the Culvers lately. Lines continue to be long, especially at popular times, and there are never enough cashiers. My last double burger was not actually a double, but one ultra thin patty plus only a 1" by 2" fragment of another. Whoever put it together either didn't care or was too rushed to bother making it right. Onion rings were cold and very greasy. Fries were okay but not nearly as many as we used to get with our combos. Soft drinks vary a lot. Having the choice of lime flavored Bubly is a refreshing change -- a nice flavor with zero calories. We no longer order frozen custard scoops or sundaes because they are rarely made correctly or are made with tiny scoops of soupy custard with skimpy to no toppings that we pay so much extra for. The custard flavor of the day never ever looks anything like the photos on display. Altogether, Culvers is no longer a pleasant experience for us, so we go there only often enough to see if things have improved. During these past several months, we've been disappointed. read more

We are here siring the partial shut down and only drive up was open. It was ok, since we were ordering fish sandwich combos with soda and fries. The fish was huge and made with cod. Service was quick and we were pleased with the care taken to deliver the food clean and hot. read more

Ridiculous day Sunday night and I have to wait for 20 to 25 minutes in line to order while people are standing around in the back I love their food in your bed this is ridiculous they couldn't have another person running register I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes or order one teeny weeny small kids meal while 5 employees talk laugh and chit chat. Use to be great but the past few times we have been missing food and the orders have been wrong. Didn't mind too much the first time but today we went back to ask for our missing food and the girl said she was the one who bagged our food and KNOWS she put it all in there, looked in our bag and said "that's weird" that's our food was not in there that we did indeed pay for. The food was good when we finally got the right order. Went through drive-thru and was asked to pull ahead when order came out it was wrong. The manager said we had to go inside correct the order and pay $1.07 to correct their mistake. You go through the drive-thru so you don't have to get out of the car. Custard was good. Had the vanilla, very creamy. Cashier not too knowledgeable about menu. Confusing menu. Went for just the custard. A scoop a custard and a blended mix scoop took over 15 minutes to get after we paid. Probably won't be coming back. Ollie's seems to be a little more on it if your just looking for dessert items like we were. But the wait here was not worth it. They had plenty of staff but no too speedy. read more

They have a bunch of kids working here and it shows. These children have made Culver's their personal playground. I came here an hour before closing and when I came to the window, I overheard the employees joking about "showing a** for money" aka stripping. I ignored it and ordered 2 burgers, fries, and an onion ring. Then the guy gave us our drinks and said have a nice night. We said what about our food? He says oh yeah, pull around. So we park behind another car who is waiting on their order and proceed to wait 20 minutes. I went inside and so did the man in front of us, he said he had waited 22 minutes. I noticed they had a window FULL of food and they immediately started bagging it all once we came in. The kids were all grouped up chatting before we interrupted them for service. While I like to give new establishments a boost, unfortunately this restaurant/ice cream joint can't get my vote. Tried it twice: burger tasty but SALTY and for me, inedible. Maybe I could have ordered it salt free... not sure But my biggest piece of criticism is the absolutely ridiculous delivery method. Instead of calling your name, you're given a table plaque that must sit patiently on the table you have chosen. The night staff at the Culvers in the Villages, Fl. Needs close supervision. I ordered two chocolate Waffle cones and after ten minutes I went to the counter and was told that they had no chocolate, just vanilla. The question is: why wasn't I told about this? I settled for vanilla and the ice cream was dripping all over the cone. I like going there, but do not go at night. The manager looked very unkempt, and there seemed to be no hurry in serving the customers. The owner of this franchise store had better take notice. Very unprofessional employees. read more
