When you order a double scoop, they give you one and then try to gaslight you that you got a double scoop. Then you show them that another person in your group ACTUALLY got a double scoop and then they act like you created trouble for no reason. Additionally, the customer service is subpar. You can DEFINITELY tell that the owners of THIS location sees this place as a cash cow and do not care. I only will eat a Culvers owned by Jason Bradley, at least he has standards and expects his staff to meet the standards. They should get training from Yankton, Mitchell, and Aberdeen. We love Culver's food. You can't beat the quality for the fast food price. This location seemed good. The only really disappointing thing was the dangerous patch of ice at the handicap spot by the door. Watching an old man with a cane struggle to stand as he got into his car was horrible. They told us they were goin to replace it and when the food was ready I can literally see the chef throw the sandwich before they handed it to us. Ok, well I won't be coming back here. We ordered 4 of the concrete ice creams. After about 20 minutes 2 of the 4 showed up, runny. Then after about 10 more minutes, the next two showed up runny too. We asked about it and the waitress just ignored us and walked away. There was only 5 tables occupied too. Hopefully no one else will experience this. read more

Very pleased with my lunch here. My dining partner and I both had special dietary requests. The cashier didn't bat her eye. We stopped here late afternoon to get some custard. We were in a party of four , made our order and sat down. When they brought out our order they only grout out two of the orders and they were already melted. They didn't bring out the other two orders for another 5 minutes. They were also half melted. Great food. I can see that everything is made to order and of higher quality ingredients than many other places that I've been to. Good atmosphere within the building and extremely clean. I'm from out of state and I have to say that I was impressed. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that although the staff were friendly, I believe they were overly friendly and almost bothersome. It's like going on a date with someone and they keep saying nice things all the time to a disturbing degree. You would begin to find it creepy. For a local chain, Culver's amazed me by their pride and attention to detail. Their food was well-made - their chili fries were crisp and they used real raspberries on their sundaes - and their staff was friendly. The rocky road sundae (flavor of the day) was to die for! If you're really into grease, I highly recommend the John Travolta movie, as well as their cheese curds. The pot roast sandwich had more fat than an Austin Powers character and the building was more dated than a calendar. read more
