My wife and I had to run some errands at the store and figured we could grab a bite to eat quick. We were seated by a window, fresh flowers on the table, waitress grabbed our drinks and we ordered. I had the Macaroni and Cheese Burger with sweet potato fries and my wife asked for a Chicken Caesar Salad with a dinner roll. The wait time for our food was acceptable, however when it arrived it was incomplete. The waitress dropped off my food, and handed my wife a dinner roll said, "your chicken dish will be out shortly". Shortly after that, the waitress brought, what looked like a side salad, no dressing, no chicken. On a chicken Caesar salad, I expected to the chicken on the salad, but we thought, "oh well, I guess it comes on the side". My meal was complete, so I decided to dig in. My meal was great. Burger was medium rare, open faced, topped with great mac & cheese. I highly recommend it. About 5 minutes or so late, the manager stopped by and asked us how our meal was. My wife asked about the chicken on the salad and instantly saw the problem and said she'd fix it. About 5 minutes after that, the manager came back with an an uncut chicken breast on a plate and told us that she'd comp the salad and apologized. I had finished my burger and it was time for us to start heading out, so my wife asked for a to-go box so she could just eat at work. The waitress who served us ignored us the rest of the time.
