Great variety of sandwiches and sides! We did order pickup, and the pickup spot was neatly organized. The ambiance was spacious and clean (makes sense considering it's a relatively new spot). Online service was smooth and easy to navigate when placing the order.

Pick 2 is an awesome choice: half sandwich/salad/spud/shareable for 7.49. I have tried the following: -BLT+A -Nacho basket -Fully loaded nachos -Ole spud Service has been top notch. Order food at counter and they deliver to your table. They had plenty of staff walking around refilling drinks and asking if you need anything. They also bus the tables too. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. Their drink size is large.

King club is huge and awesome.

I've been here a few times now and am a fan. Their sandwiches are really good and come with a side for around $8. Pretty good price for freshly made sandwiches. Their baked potatoes are giant and can be loaded with all kinds of goodies from cheese to bacon to sour cream and whatever else you can think of all for around $8 as well. Only thing I am not a fan of is their sides. They are okay and their Mac and cheese is runny. Otherwise it's a good price for some good food. I will be back for more.

When you enter, you may wish to grab a paper menu and decide before approaching the counter. They have a large menu but you'll find time to decide is small once you're at the registers. That being said, the cashier we had was very friendly and patient with our indecision. I had the choose two option. I selected the spicy turkey melt. It was a mistake. The sandwich was primarily vegetables and there was one slice of turkey, which you could not taste at all. The sauce was OK. Look at all that green versus the menu photo, it's crazy out of proportion! I would never order this again. The accompanying tomato bisque was pretty good. My wife chose the Club sandwich, which had plenty of meat and tasted quite good. Our son had the mac & cheese. I liked the choices of the cheese. However, it was kept far too hot to be on the kids menu. He couldn't eat it for nearly 10 minutes after we got it and even then it was because we poured it out and spread it on a plate to cool. It could have caused great injury! This is dangerous on a kid's menu item! Beware and don't just hand your kids their food here, test it thoroughly! The tea I had to drink was very smooth. If I had a choice, and for a kid's safety, I'd probably choose to go elsewhere. There are plenty of delis around.

Garden Turkey on croissant w/ herbed mayo instead of balsamic and a fruit cup side.

I became a fan of Mcalisters when visiting my family in Omaha and was so glad they opened a location in WDM. My two favorites are the chicken salad and garden turkey sandwiches. When I order the turkey, I swap a croissant for the nine grain bread and the herbed mayo for the balsamic vinaigrette.--that herbed mayo is AMAZING! My preferred side is the fruit cup, it is a nice blend of grapes, strawberries, blueberries and pineapple. The potato salad is pretty good too, although it has egg in it, which I'm not really a fan of, but that's obviously just a personal preference sort of thing. Generally speaking, the ingredients are always fresh and high quality--my only complaint would be that the avocado is often on the brown side, which can be a bummer. When I visit with my mom, she always gets a baked potato--those things are HUGE! They look and smell great. In addition to the sandwiches, my bf RAVES about the mushroom soup. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful and professional, service is prompt and and the restaurant is always very clean.

Service was a little slower but the food was good and done correctly. The potatoes could have a little more on the toppings.

We were just here a few weeks ago and I am so bummed to see they permanently closed!! We came during lunch and took advantage of their weekday lunch combo (Tues-Fri, 11am-2pm), which includes soup and a half grilled cheese. You can choose from the OG, Kick in the Cheese, or Fancy grilled cheese, plus either tomato basil bisque or the soup of the day. Honestly? A dream setup. I ordered the tomato basil bisque with a half OG grilled cheese, and wow... just wow. The soup was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the grilled cheese delivered that classic, beautiful cheese pull moment you hope for (and rarely actually get). The cheese had the perfect amount of sharpness and subtle bitterness, balancing everything out so well without being overwhelming.. I seriously could go for one right now! Every bite was comforting and delicious, and I immediately wished I had ordered a full OG sandwich because it was that good. The combo was mouth‑watering, satisfying, and wildly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch stop.

The food came out hot and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. This is gourmet sandwiches on a budget! We got there right when they opened and stayed to eat our meal. There were at least 8 people who came in to order while we were there. I can tell it's a lunch favorite. We ordered Grilled Cheese of the Month Quesabirria and it was fantastic I would say it just needed more Consomé. We also ordered their Cuban sandwich and it was really good! This place is a classic hole in the wall but it was very clean!

It's a nice, clean, country-esque little space on Jordan Creek Parkway. They have an attractive menu featuring locally sourced meats and other products. I had the salsa Verde pork with eggs, and my wife had the biscuits and gravy. The salsa verde pork and eggs was delicious. The pork was tender, had a wonderful flavor with hints of tomatillo and lime with a lot of green chili and tomatillo salsa over the top of nicely cooked homemade fried potatoes. My two eggs over medium were on top with pico de gallo. My only knock would've been my eggs were more over done than over medium, but we're splitting hairs at that point. My wife's biscuit and gravy featured a lovely fluffy biscuit with an ample helping of sausage gravy with eggs and some of the same nice fried potatoes. I had a coffee which was fine. My wife had a specialty coffee called the Honeybee which she said was delicious. The servers were polite and attentive, and everything came out in a very reasonable timeframe. I would definitely recommend anyone in the Jordan Creek area. Who's looking for a breakfast spot to give Homegrown a go!

Our most recent waiter was Holly and she was great! She checked in the perfect amount of times, we always hate being checked on so much we can't enjoy our meal. I highly recommend their honey bee latte, I get it every time and almost always want one to go. I'm also currently Gluten Free so when I see pancakes as an option it's a must! Only downside is I wish their waiting area was larger. When it's cold or windy it gets over crowded. In a leased building that can be tough but maybe putting up a waiting area outside would be smart in all weather scenarios!

Located in a…read morestrip mall at the corner of Grand and EP True (by the HyVee), the decor is nothing special but it was light and bright inside. We were greeted and asked if we were dining in (it appears they do a brisk takeout business) and were told to sit where we wanted. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The menu is extensive and hubby and I both like Mediterranean food. I chose the Falafel plate, served with five falafel balls, hummus, a pita, and Greek salad. The portion was generous (ended up taking two falafel home). Served with tahini and their house green sauce (olive oil, cilantro, and jalapeño) It wasn't spicy but it was so delicious - I could get addicted to this thinking of all the other ways so could enjoy it!! The Greek salad was served with house dressing - garlic and yogurt, also very good. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and flavorful. The hummus was not at all grainy - smooth but just a tad bland. Hubby had the lamb skewers and liked them very much. Served with rice, salad, and hummus. He also took one of the skewers home. We both had the mango Fresca juice. A bit too sweet for me but I generally drink unsweetened beverages. Hubby liked it a lot. Service was friendly and we were checked on twice to ask how we liked our food. Generous portions, friendly service, good food, but not inexpensive (with tip, $55 for two) but what is inexpensive these days?? We enjoyed reading the story of the couple who started this restaurant, and I'm glad we finally had a chance to try it?
