Cheese curds are great. The custard is the real star here though. You can get it done up so many ways with a number of toppings or mix ins also. The wait can be long at times especially in the drive though and if you go in you might be over looked at first. If they correct this it will be very very good. read more

Arrived about 1230 and both the parking lot and restaurent were crowded. Ordered lunch for both my wife and me. Guy taking order very slow and seemed very confused, but that was ok. Then discovered why restaurent was soooo crowded. Most patrons were waiting for their food. My order took 16 minutes to be delivered and it was wrong. The lady that delivered the order was very apologetic and offered to take it back. Not wanting to wait longer, accepted what was delivered. Been here several times and would never call the service great, but somewhat acceptable. Will be a longe time befor I consider returning. read more

First of all, Culver's is a chain from Wisconsin. I'm a Cheesehead, so I've eaten Culver's custard for decades. This Culvers is my regular stop to/from Atlanta from Chattanooga, right off the freeway, and they never disapoint. Always friendly, punctual, hard working, fast service, food is great, AND when they've made a mistake (once or twice), they do the right thing and fix it! I always get chocolate custard UNLESS they have the midnight/dark chocolate ... and then I might buy a pint... or 10. My wife always gets their Swiss Reuben sandwich, and when she doesn't... she always wonders why she didn't. AND she loves their pretzel bits. I'm a butterburger fan UNLESS they have walleye (fish), and I'll get that. And the cheese curds. The Concretes and everything are fine, but the reality is, the star is the custard. I get it. Times for amazing and fast service seem gone. I have not been to one old favorite, be it target, Chili's, hole in the wall Mexican, home goods, where the line isn't long. The staff is confused. The order or bill is wrong. All. Of. Them! I avoid busy times. I try to use the apps if they have them. I try to keep my patience but it is hard. But this is one of only two restaurants (sit down or fast food) that I know OPENED during a pandemic. We all lost some favorite places to eat and shop but this franchise owner is trying to beat inflation, crazy gas prices and staffing shortages like we have never seen to OPEN a place in the last two years. The food is great. The burgers are fresh and they are the best onion rings of ANY fast food restaurant. The ice cream is really good but I tend to stick to the normal flavors. I hate crinkle fries but that is my preference (I also hate CFA's waffle fries). I try to go in if I can to double check the order and avoid the longer drive through lines. It is sad that most of the one or two star reviews are about speed. No one is fast. The McDonald's down the street is like molasses. The Taco Bell/kfc combo is closed most of the time. I went to north points Chili's a few months back on a weekend evening and they were closed due to no manager being able to work. We are all pandemic pooped but this place is still welcomed in the area and I myself am so glad I don't have to drive to Canton for my fix. Also their root beer rocks. read more

Culvers is nostalgia for me from the north when i lived there, so when they brought them to the Atlanta metro i was really excited. The first one i went to was snellville and it was pretty bad. Everything was sub par... I was in the area every 4 months and tried again 2 more times..same..i began to wonder if my love for Culvers was all in my head. Cut to there being many Culvers I'm Atlanta metro, they seemed to have stepped up their game. This restaurant could be a flagship for the whole brand. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Restaurant is very clean. Because of this we were tempted to go back twice in 1 week. The first time i meant to order a Wisconsin swiss patty melt, but i think she misheard me because i was a little mumbley. Even when she read it back it didn't register. Well no complaints here the mushroom swiss burger was cooked perfectly and the crinkle fries (which are my least favorite kind of fries) were cooked perfectly with a snap crunch... I had been prepared to return my sandwich for the proper one when i realized that i didn't want to lol. We also got cheese curds... Stunting i had at snellville that were sad sad sad... Here they couldn't have been better. 100% delicious. Second visit: got the Wisconsin melt i wanted the first time. 100% perfect and delicious. This time tried the pretzel bites. We love auntie annes and these didn't disappoint at all. They were so good with a lightly crisp outside and a soft and delicious inside. The concretes are yummy and cheaper than a pint of Ben and Jerry's if you're in the mood for ice cream. One complaint: the soda fountain: i have experienced this at multiple locations.. but i love beer, and clearly Culvers does too because they have their own house blend which is very good and even now have a diet root beer which i love even more because i tend to avoid sugar but will take a real root beer from time to time if it's available, and a diet alternative is not. Here's the problemsss: the diet has a tendancy to spray syrup out from the nozzle. Not only that.. But i think they need to adjust the speed or fill rate for this type of soda. The diet rootbeer seems to be especially sensitive to agitation compared to other sodas on the rack (yes i experimented a little lol). So when you try to fill your cup you get ALOT of foam and you have to spend a lot of time waiting for it to dissipate, several times, to get a full cup. Maybe if they just slowed the fill rate on this flavor (if that is even possible) it would prevent the spray and excess foam All and all this location saved my opinion of Culvers in Atlanta. As I read the negative reviews from the morons that wrote them, they have one thing in common. Receiving not what they ordered via the drive thru. I can't speak to that, because I always go inside since it's a cook to order place. That's why orders are much slower, stupid folks. If you want cheap lousy fast food, y'all need to go to Mickey D's so you won't clog up the lines here. No their food is not over priced. They server only premium cooked to order food. If you want cheap, go to the cheap joints. Their butter burgers are outstanding. Try their cheese curds vs fries. Excellent when they are hot out of the fryer. Their daily house made custards are outstanding. Those of you that are used to the junk served at your local DQ, most likely won't like it. They also have soups, and other non-burger sandwiches which are equally as good. So for all of those one star people, please go to Mickey D's to keep our line shorter!! Good burgers and ok onions but where do they find these people working inside? The black girl that waited on me Nov 3 @ 1:00, never said hello just a blank stare. I spilled part of a drink on the floor and told three people. No one came to clean so I wiped the floor myself. Does management care that they are only getting 2 5 stars? Do not leave without checking your order. So many times parts are missing in the order. 2 kids meals both the exact same. Both bags no fries. So a 6 dollar plain cheeseburger and apple juice x2. My fish dinner ( pretty darn good I must admit) missing the slaw side inside. Ordered cheese sauce to dip fries in. Guess what no cheese sauce that I paid for. Ordered a flavor of the day custard at 11:15 am only to be told they were out of the ingredients for that one. So 45 mins after opening you are out? Might want to update your flavor of the day to something you have in stock. Overall we now only come for the custard really as it seems to be the least problematic. read more

2:30 in the afternoon and 40 minutes after placing a small order, and after asking two workers if they could check on it for me, our order still had not come. Other's larger orders were being served. When asking for my money back, apologies and excuses were made, but no offer of other compensation was made, not even an ice cream to go for my grandchild. That simple act of kindness would have staved off hunger and frustration. Very uncomfortable atmosphere. Very long lines outside but going inside expecting good service was not to be. I have been to well over a dozen different Culver's in multiple states over the last decade and always until this location the food and service was very good This location is the exception . I waited approximately 25 minutes at the drive through, ordered one item , after ordering several cars came after , and they left well before . I asked one of the " car hops" to check on the order . She never returned ! Waited about 5 more minutes and again as noted several cars behind me got their food. I went in and asked for a manager . One came out started yelling about " we cook to order here " I replied I know that I have been a Culver's customer for a decade . The person started yelling again said I hadn't been there that long and said you ordered multiple items .I said no it was one sandwich ! They kept on being rude ! Culvers is incredible! This location just opened so everyone's still learning the ropes but they are doing a great job. Food was hot and fresh and the custard was nothing short of delicious. The food is awesome and always good and the service is impeccable but delivery in the drive thru is very slow and their accuracy on orders isn't perfect. When this location first opened my wife and I ordered 2 butter burgers, an onion ring and a fry with a side of cheese sauce. Everything was listed on the receipt and I paid for it, but when we got home there was no cheese sauce. I called and was told I would be mailed a coupon for the cheese sauce, I never got it, I told the manager the next time we were here and was told "we make mistakes", and give a card for a free meal, but still no cheese sauce. Waited a hot minute for food, which was fine because it was busy. Then they forgot my shake (which happens every time I order a dessert at a Culver's idk why). So I go up front and wait in line to speak with the same guy who took my order. Told him I didn't receive my shake I ordered, showing him the receipt for it. He acts as if I didn't order one, then goes to the back to ask around for it. I hear another coworker say "they said they didn't want it when we brought it to them" Then a few minutes later he handed me a very melted shake. Cool bro. Never eaten at a Culvers before yesterday. Read a few reviews stating the chain itself is highly rated for burgers. Since it was the first time I'd ever been, my friend and I went a bit overboard with the order. We tried the Cheese Curds, Pretzel Bites, Bacon Butter Burger, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Fries and the Caramel Cashew Custard. EVERY SINGLE THING was REALLY GOOD. The fries were crispy, the burgers were hot, frikkin delicious and were some of the best my friend and I had ever tasted from a fast food joint. The Cheese Curds were crispy and the breading was seasoned perfectly. The Pretzel Bites with the cheese sauce were salty and savory. The cheese sauce was hands down the best liquid cheese sauce I'd ever tasted. The custard was so smooth and so yummy I had to tell myself out loud to stop because I hadn't tasted anything else yet! There were cashews and caramel all the way at the bottom of the cup as well as on top. And in addition to all of that, they had our order ready in about 3 minuets from the time we paid and the sweetest older man delivered our food to us. Even the extra sauces we asked for were right on top of the bag. Couldn't have been more impressed and will most certainly be going back. read more

Ordered a large order for the first time which took over 40 minutes to get. Got home and three items were missing. My wife went back to get the missing items and asked if they could add something due the inconvenience but was refused by management. The burgers were okay, not bad, but two burger restaurants in the area are better. The onion rings were subpar. The cheese curds were disappointing. The chicken tenders were less than desirable. Will not be returning. Management was poor. You mess up the order requiring your customer to drive back and deny a very small compensation request. read more

Been there several times. The first time we were waiting inside forever for two custards, no one seemed to know what they were doing. No one seemed to be in charge to help them. Everyone waiting was complaining. Okay so they are new, we gave them another chance. The roast beef sandwiches had minimal meat on them,not worth the price for two sandwiches, one pepsi and two custards. One custard had regular caramel ( not salted) and cashews, The salt on the cashews was as if someone dumped a salt shaker in there. totally unedible. The other custard was one scoop of choc and one of vanilla. The chocolate was fine, the vanilla was not mixed properly and had fatty residue on my spoon, gritty too with no toppings either. I will be going to try the Hickory Flat one out to see if their roast beef is also minimal but we always had good service and food there. All for 20 bcuks, not worth it. read more

Please change the oil you fry the fish in......frequently. This is the 3rd time I've been served an inedible, greasy fish sandwich. I'm talking about dark and soaked with old dirty oil. The last time was so bad I drove back to the restaurant just to show them how much oil I was able to squeeze out and how dark it was. The cashier was grossed out, but clearly the person who made the sandwich was not. That time I requested a refund, the kid cashier had to call a supervisor, another kid, to process the refund. They short changed me a quarter and when I mentioned it with my hand still out to show them, the kid supervisor then hands me two dimes...... I told him to keep the nickel and I left. I think he was still confused. I'm not saying adult workers are needed, but something just isn't clicking with the kids they have running this place. Stopped there last night (new location on Hwy 92) for the first time after seeing the long lines at the drive-thru. Walked in and ordered the butter burger, chicken sandwich and fries. All were good but still fast-food - would give the food four stars relative to other fast food joints. Definitely a cut above McDonald's and Wendy's but also more expensive. The attraction as I saw was for their shakes and ice cream and hence the long lines at the drive-thru. After being told the wait for any shake was over 10 minutes I passed on the shake. Also saw one of the employees drop a hand full of cups on the floor and they wiped them off and stuck them back in the dispenser. They had a lot of high school kids working there (they were all quite pleasant and nice) so plenty of help but it was quite the goat rodeo and clearly they were suffering from lack direction and supervision. I would recommend they bring an experienced manager from another store in for a while to get things settled. Not sure I will return. read more

this was my second time going to Culver's and LAST! The burgers and ice cream are great! SERVICE SUCKS. 2x's a row they messed up my order. to go: Ordered 3 deluxe burgers only got 2. I ordered an ice cream they gave me the ice cream before my order was up! 1/2hr later got my meal and the ice cream was soup.
