Cleanings always leave me with a great feeling and knowledge that I'm in good shape. Dr. Chadbourne always checks in for a brief hello and check on the condition of my teeth! All in all, this office and staff are great to work with. It's always a pleasure to visit the staff and later walk away knowing that you are being well cared for!

The office is very clean and the decor very calming which I feel is appropriate for a dentist office. For my initial visit I received a thorough examination from both the hygienist and Dr. Chadbourn. Afterwards, Dr. Chadbourn discussed in detail a plan for my dental care - unfortunately due to lack of maintenance there was a bit of work to be done. I appreciated having a plan laid out and expectations set. I have severe anxiety surrounding dental procedures done such as fillings. Both Dr. Chadbourn and her hygienist made me feel comfortable by exuding patience and compassion while they worked on my teeth. I had two cavities repaired and I honestly did not feel a thing - not even the Novocaine shot. This is a great office/dentist to work due to their professionalism, kindness, and technology they use!

I'd had 'something' brewing under a back crown for well over a year, and had not made an…read moreappointment with any of the dentists I 'auditioned,' because I hadn't found someone I felt comfortable with or was willing to trust with sharp utensils in my mouth. Dr. Anders and Dental Assistant Crystal were each attentive to my shifting needs while in the chair and worked very well in tandem to create the most positive and effective visit possible...under some pretty intense circumstances. (I can be a very anxious dental patient.) For me, it all boils down to human touch, attention to detail and sensitivity. It felt more like Dr Anders was painting rather than drilling. I was aware of Crystal's gentle touch...and one or the other gently using his/her/their pinky finger on my jaw to steady a hand and achieve precision. Unbeknownst to me, I have - literally - driven across the country to find the dental team with 'the right touch.' It's expensive, but you get what you pay for...and they accept CareCredit, which removed any anxiety from the 'how am I going to pay for this thing I need??' part of the equation. The front desk staff did everything they could to help me navigate to their office (without gps or cellphone). Thank you Erin, Jody, Colin, Susan. Have I left anyone out?

PHENOMENAL Dental practice!!!…read more But first, a little history...I was recently given a rather dire prognosis during an emergency visit to my former Dentist. I left her office in shock, with little explanation of how the current problem could have occurred, and a paper copy of a referral to an oral surgeon. I was basically left to fend for myself without experience and was completely overwhelmed. This came as a shock, so I began looking for a second opinion. In speaking with the Reception staff and Patient Coordinator at Peak Dental by phone, I was immediately taken by how present they were in listening to my situation and working to find an open slot to fit me in right away. Once there, I was greeted warmly and they spent over TWO HOURS hours with me, talking/listening, examining, photographing, reviewing transferred X-Rays and creating a path forward out of the mess I had found myself in. I can honestly say that Kaitlyn is the best, I repeat - THE BEST, Dental Hygenist that I've ever had the pleasure to be treated by (I'm a huge Chicken...Dental anxiety doesn't begin to describe it!). She was incredibly present (great listening skills), patient and gentle in performing a thorough examination and forming an assessment. We were then joined by Dr. Anders, who reviewed the transferred X-Rays, along with new images they had taken during Kaitlyn's examination. Dr. Anders explained the situation and possible causes in great detail and patiently addressed all of my questions. They formulated a treatment plan that would not only address and resolve the situation that I had found myself in, but one that would all but guarantee that something like this will NOT occur again! Lastly, I worked with their Billing Rep to work out the finer details - she was funny, knowledgeable and super helpful! Needless to say, I have switched dentists and will now be a happy client of Peak Dental Health from this point forward. As a side note...The folks at Peak Dental truly understand the importance of up-to-date technology and have all of the bells and whistles that you would expect to see in a larger, metropolitan dental office. When I first moved back to Maine and discovered that a 'deep cleaning' consisted of a Hygenist trying to slip a metal pick 5mm under the gumline and sadistically scrape away for 45 minutes, I thought I had accidentally taken a wrong turn and ended up back in the Dark Ages...Folks, it's stuff like this that makes Maine look like a cultural backwater. You will NOT encounter the low-tech approach at Peak Dental or their staff - You'll be in great hands!

My experience with Dr. Brian D Boynton (from Yarmouth Dental) was extremely traumatic, overly…read moreexpensive, and painful. I initially came to Dr.Boynton for a dental bridge procedure - 1.5 years later, I left with no bridge, thousands of dollars of expenses, NEW DENTAL PROBLEMS resulting from his "care," and diagnosed depression. A summary of this awful experience: - THREE FAILED ATTEMPTS at making a proper bridge, each causing severe pain - A BAND-AID SOLUTION of adding cement to the bridge that led to constant jaw/tooth pain, frequent visits to correct the bite and ADDED PAIN with each visit/adjustment, INABILITY TO CHEW or move my jaw, biting my cheeks & additional CHARGES without resolution (Bridge was paid in full at the beginning of the treatment). - Ignored a tooth cavity for too long which resulted in an additional tooth needing to be removed. - Blamed the problems with the bridge on the other tooth and sent me for a ROOT CANAL for a supposed infection, which was actually occlusal trauma from the wrong bite, as diagnosed by a specialized Endodontist. - REFUSED to replace or correct the painful 3rd bridge after diagnosis from an Endodontist. Instead, he tried to adjust my opposite jaw to fit the flawed bridge (with additional charges for the needed appliance), which caused the jaw to spasm and twist with severe pain, causing long-lasting jaw pain. At this point, the bridge was finally removed. POST-DR. B RESOLUTION: - Found a new dentist who made a well-fitted bridge (without needing any root canals or jaw adjustments) within 2 months. FINAL WORDS: Being in Dr. Boyton's dental "care" directly led to a diminished quality of life and diagnosed depression from enduring pain, distress, and being left without teeth for so long. Also multiple additional charges for unneeded procedures throughout the bridge "treatment" I would not wish for such a stressful, traumatic, costly, and painful experience I had with Dr. Boynton upon anyone.
