I stopped by Gingersnaps Bakery to see if the hype was real and for the most part, it delivered…read more The standout was easily the Nutella Brookie. It's exactly what you'd hope for: classic chocolate chip flavor, delicious brownie cookie flavor with that Nutella stuffing sandwiched in between both doughs which actually has a balanced sweetness without being overwhelming. Definitely worth going out of your way for. This cookie HIT! I also tried a few other items: * The cookie dough truffles were solid. Fun and indulgent, deff a sleeper hit. * The snickerdoodle cookie was solid but not the main event. Thin, chewy, with crispy edges which I love so nailed the texture perfectly. Just wish it had more snickerdoodle flavor. * The cookie dough cheesecake didn't hit for me. I lean more toward a classic vanilla-forward cheesecake, the edible cookie dollop was good though. What really stands out about this place is the variety. Cookies, cupcakes, pies, cheesecakes, brownies and they even take custom cake orders. It feels like one of those spots where you can keep going back and trying something new every time. Overall: worth the visit, especially for the Nutella cookie.

Killer bakery, loved it. Glad my friend introduced me to this place. The turtle cheesecake cup cake…read morecrazy good. The pecan bar amazing not over sweet, perfect. Their lemon blueberry ice tea, very good. The service was great. The atmosphere was friendly and helpful.

Oh my! This was my first visit to this lovely cafe and I can't wait to go back. My friend and I…read morevisited for dessert after having dinner nearby, and the pastry case was full of delctable treats, even though it was the end of the day. It was hard to make a decision, but I went with a croissant stuffed with chocolate, fresh strawberries and whipped cream, while my friend went with the Chocolate Mousse Santiago tart. Let me just say, that both were rich, high quality, perfectly prepared, and amazing. I really don't think you could go wrong with anything you order here. I wasn't in the mood for coffee, but my friend enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea. At first I thought the prices were a little high, but after I considered the high quality of the ingredients anad the generous sizing, I think their prices are right on target. The cafe eating area is spacious and is perfect for conversations or quiet work. The entire cafe is super clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I ordered an apple tart and a small piece was $7.50! Yes, it was good, and the cream was wonderful, but paying about $2 per bite is outrageous. The value of their drinks might be a little better. I ordered a Cortado and it was delicious. The volume of liquid wasn't too low. $4.25 I would give it 3 stars, but I know not everyone is good with money and many are willing to pay these prices on the east side Providence. The staff was nice, but nothing over the top.
