The outside of Gathering Grounds feels classic and homey but the inside is AI Hallmark movie. The lack of a real personality kills the vibe fast. But service is kind and prompt with attention paid to patrons! I wish I could say the food or drinks helped redeem the experience but the chai latte was a powder mix and the food was so limited and bland it really didn't do much to help. A skip on local cafes for sure.

Im sorry but I ordered an iced coffee and the worker dropped the ice scooper on the FLOOR and picked it up off the floor and proceeded the scoop the ice into my cup-Come on NOW! Wont ever come back here. If thats whats being done in front a place full of customers, whats happening that we cant see. Very very disappointing!

I have driven past this building a thousand times and never really knew what it was about, but as luck would have it, Gathering Grounds appeared on my 'for you' page today, so I drove over to check it out. This building houses an antique shop, a coffee house, and an ice cream parlor - that have different names (which is probably why it hadn't stood out to me when just driving by) The coffee shop and ice cream parlor are owned by the folks who run The Grist Mill, and you can definitely feel their vibe in how it's set up and furnished. Today we enjoyed a millers maple swirl latte and a cold brew float made with ice cream and sat and enjoyed them at a nearby table. We also grabbed a cute gingerbread latte to go to enjoy at home. We will definitely be back to pick up more specialty beverages and look forward to enjoying some ice cream when the weather gets a bit warmer.

My friend wanted to try this place, and I tagged along. I wish we had gone earlier in the day to explore the antique/thrift shop attached to the ice cream shop but we went almost before closing time. I am not sure if because it was late they had ran out of most of the flavors we wanted or if they're always low on inventory, but about half of their flavors were not available. We ended up getting blackberry and pumpkin. I am kind of glad we explored flavors we wouldn't normally go for because they were actually really delicious -- individually and even better mixed together. The blackberry was fruity and creamy, and the pumpkin was creamy, with a hint of pumpkin spice, and maybe a sweet note resembling caramel/toffee. The serving size was great. We both ordered small and got a heaping cup of ice cream. There is a big parking lot, and the staff was friendly.

Super cute spot! If money were no object, my home would look like this place. Coffee was so tasty, especially the chocolate iced coffee. Service was friendly and sweet. I love the books available to read and buy. They even have a book club. Wish I lived closer, because I'd be here all the time!

Olivia and Danielle helped me and they were so nice and wonderful! I had such a great experience and everything was great! I got an iced coffee and macaroons, checked out the book selection, read all of the awesome ice cream options and explored the antiques. This place is literally all of my fave things all rolled in one and the people here were amazing!!!

New to Seekonk! And just what we needed. I kept saying, I wish we had a local coffee place near by when I'm feeling like sitting, and not wanting a fast chain. So cute inside the Four Echo vintage and antique shop and right next to the Old Grist Mill. The vibes are high and cozy. Today was rainy so we sat inside the warm wood shop near their gas fire and listened to the indie music and browsed the book selection. On a sunny day, you can sit by the pond outside and watch the birds. The location is prime and so far, the coffee is too. Multiple flavor shots available, I got a maple pecan hot latte and it said the syrup is house made. I got it for here so it came in a nice coffee cup. Local paintings line the walls and the employees are very nice and kind, welcoming you in. I will definitely be back for the icecream they also offer!!!!

Double dirty chai with oat mylk, Maple Nut Kitchen Granola (Maple Nut and Lavender Blueberry), super cute spot to sit.

So cute and friendly. Had a double dirty chai with oat mylk. Very tasty. Bought some semi local (New Hampshire) granola to take home and share.

Let me just say, that both were rich, high quality, perfectly prepared, and amazing. I really don't think you could go wrong with anything you order here. I wasn't in the mood for coffee, but my friend enjoyed a nice cup of hot tea. At first I thought the prices were a little high, but after I considered the high quality of the ingredients anad the generous sizing, I think their prices are right on target. The cafe eating area is spacious and is perfect for conversations or quiet work. The entire cafe is super clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

I ordered an apple tart and a small piece was $7.50! Yes, it was good, and the cream was wonderful, but paying about $2 per bite is outrageous. The value of their drinks might be a little better. The volume of liquid wasn't too low. $4.25 I would give it 3 stars, but I know not everyone is good with money and many are willing to pay these prices on the east side Providence. The staff was nice, but nothing over the top.

But I thought that one cookie was great! At first, I was hesitant as the trendy pink decor was reminiscent of Crumbl, whose cookies I do not enjoy. So I was expecting Feed the Cheeks to serve me some generic, overly sweet gimmicky monstrosity that would make me ill. But no! I ordered the chocolate strawberry cookie and I really liked it. It wasn't overly sweet, but balanced in its flavor. The strawberry icing wasn't thick and gross and overly sweet either. The chocolate was rich and because they warmed it up, perfectly ooey gooey. If I had been a little more cognizant of my surroundings instead of getting worked up by the iPad ordering system (can we please bring back human interaction?), I probably would've gotten a four pack of the mini cookies and sampled a few flavors. But when in Rome, order the giant cookies. The cookie still tasted good when I finished it at work the next day, too. The inside is what you'd expect, and very pink. And there's a few short stools at a very low counter you can sit at. I had some time to kill so I sat and ate my cookie there. Passersby looked down on us from the large windows facing Angell Street. Maybe they were jealous that they didn't treat themselves to a big cookie, or maybe they were cherishing their own willpower as they looked forward to the kale salad awaiting them at home. Either way, the cookie was a great choice!

I found the shop tucked away in my old stomping grounds, and when my GPS announced I had arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see it now occupies what used to be a beloved old Italian bakery. There's a small parking lot right next to the well-marked entrance, and their adorable bespectacled cupcake logo makes for a charming first impression. Inside, the space is a nostalgic dream for fans of all things pop culture. The décor spans across countless beloved universes--Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, Pokémon, Mario, and more. Familiar faces like Batman, Spiderman, Thor, and the Hulk line the walls and shelves, giving the whole place a fun and immersive vibe. But let's talk about the real stars: the baked goods. The display at the entrance is packed with eye-catching treats--cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and beyond. Everything looked just as mouthwatering in person as it did in the photos that initially drew me in. In addition to desserts, they also offer cannoli, cinnamon rolls, brownies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, bagels, toasts, bowls, and a variety of drinks including coffee, smoothies, and iced options. Since I was there for cupcakes, I picked out three flavors: Mocha Cappuccino, Banana Pudding, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana. I only got to try the two banana ones, but both were delicious. The Mocha one smelled heavenly though! A surprise bonus--the cupcakes had fillings, which I wasn't expecting. The frosting-to-cake ratio was perfect, and the cake itself was light and fluffy, yet sturdy enough to hold up the frosting. The owner was super helpful in guiding my selections and genuinely lit up when I asked about the bakery's background and theme. They host themed events too--like an upcoming Star Wars Day breakfast with a buffet, character meet-and-greets, goodie bags, and more. I don't live in the area anymore, so coming back would be a special treat--but I definitely plan to. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit tricky due to the busy nearby intersection, but it wasn't too hard to navigate. A small inconvenience considering everything this place has to offer. Bottom line: this bakery is a delightful, nerdy, sugar-filled gem. A perfect place to treat yourself!

For this visit, some people in my group ordered the matcha waffle: matcha silky cream, chocolate drizzle, topped with fresh strawberries, while others including myself got the ube waffle: ube silky cream, drizzled condensed milk, and topped with fresh blueberries, bananas, raspberries, and coconut shavings. By default, these were on the liege waffle which is personally my favorite since it has a crispy and caramel like consistency. The ube cream was very creamy and smooth. The condensed milk was a great touch, as it acted like a syrup. The fresh fruits helped balance out the sweetness. The matcha one was also good. It reminded me a little of the dubai chocolate combination, mostly because of the colors. I've been seeing them add more and more drinks to the menu - mostly ones that resemble the waffle flavors. The prices have not changed much and they're still reasonable for the quality and quantity. There is plenty of seating in the lower area of their store. You definitely get more cake than the coffee, but it worked in its favor and tasted much better than the crème brûlée drink. They do tell you to wait about 10 minutes before eating it since they are really frozen, so in that time, my friend and I drove to the pedestrian bridge to eat our ice cream by the river. I wish the cookie could be soft, since it does make biting into a little tricky in the beginning. They had a slightly dark chocolate flavor with a hint of saltiness. The ice cream was really good, but the frosting made it even better. I thought it was the white chocolate dip that was added the additional creamy and sweet goodness but it was the frosting the whole time. I enjoyed everything about this flavor.
