The rates are straightforward. It's 2 dollars for the first hour and 2 dollars for each additional hour up to a 14 dollar daily max. We were only here a couple of hours and I'm expensing it, so it barely registered, but even if I weren't it still feels like a fair price for the convenience and the peace of mind. The lines are cleanly painted, the lighting is bright and even, and the whole place feels maintained rather than forgotten. It's still Ybor, though, so the usual common sense applies. Don't leave valuables in sight and give your car a quick once‑over before you walk away. But as far as parking in this neighborhood goes, this deck is about as easy and low stress as it gets. To my surprise, our car had already been brought down by A-1 to curbside by their office. Office staff were also professional and very friendly. At first, I accidentally went into a residential parking garage and was locked inside with my car and no elevator. Luckily a resident was leaving and was able to let me out. I eventually found the main cruise port parking garage, but they were full and sending people to this overflow lot. It's basically a field where they park your car and it's almost a mile walk to the port. The day we parked they had a shuttle to get us to the cruise ship, but let us know there was no shuttle to come back to the lot afterwards. There's only a one car sized entrance/exit so it gets backed up when there are a lot of people either trying to come in or leave. I would only recommend this out of desperation. Definitely reserve your parking ahead of time in the parking garage near the port.

Upon arrival, there were a bunch of guys standing around a folding table in a fenced area smoking cigarettes. The lot is in a makeshift grassy area between several dilapidated and empty warehouses. Upon returning from the cruise the driver pulls in by the gate and informs us that we either have to drag our luggage in between all the gates, through the muddy parking lot to our cars or we can pull our car around and he will unload the luggage. My car was a bit away and I had to maneuver around tree stumps, pot holes and half closed fences. Finally getting back to the gate, finding my luggage sitting in the middle of the field and no attendant. I am not picky, I don't normally even worry about where I park my car. But I didn't feel safe in this lot and I wasn't 100% certain my car was going to be there. I was not happy my luggage was left unattended.

I'm pretty lucky that we live in the suburbs so I'm not used to paying for parking. This lot is three blocks from the Tampa Theatre so super convenient. There's only one way out, so I bet when it's an actual busy night it will be hard to get out, but we had no issues. I'm just glad that there is a convenient covered garage so that I don't have to go looking for street parking.

People are walking around with their dogs and pretty happy here. This event took place from 5-8pm with the tree lighting at the end. We wish we saw the nutcracker ballet, but when we got there they were finishing up. We were able to get parking in one of the garages which they just opened up again when we got there. That made it way way easy since there was a good amount of parking inside. We were worried about the parking and it was fine. There was some vendors here and there but not too many. I wish we took pics by the vw van, but we didn't. They did have free ice cream from Oddfellows that we got. They sold mixed drinks and cotton candy and flowers and some food here and there like Birria Bros and The Mighty Fine. We didn't get any food and drinks while we were there. It was a nice relaxing night that made it even better with the Christmas lights and fresh air.

The market takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. There was live music, so many vendors selling gorgeous dresses, local produce, jewelry, and so much more. I fell in love with the cutest handmade seashell jewelry from the Shell + Stone's pop-up tent (she also runs a shop online). I ended up picking out a few rings, and the owner was actually running a 27% off sale for St. Pete's 727 Day. Stumbling upon this market was the perfect surprise to kickstart my Saturday morning. I love that parking is easy and accessible too. I definitely have some more exploring to do at Midtown, so I can't wait to stop by again soon.
