Midtown is such a cute place to grab a bite to eat or coffee/tea with friends. This past weekend, I stopped by to grab a bubble tea at Midtown Boba and I stumbled upon the Sunshine Market at Midtown. Of course, I had to walk around to see all of the amazing vendors. The market takes place on the fourth Saturday of each month. There was live music, so many vendors selling gorgeous dresses, local produce, jewelry, and so much more. I fell in love with the cutest handmade seashell jewelry from the Shell + Stone's pop-up tent (she also runs a shop online). I ended up picking out a few rings, and the owner was actually running a 27% off sale for St. Pete's 727 Day. Stumbling upon this market was the perfect surprise to kickstart my Saturday morning. I love that parking is easy and accessible too. I definitely have some more exploring to do at Midtown, so I can't wait to stop by again soon. read more

Great selection of restaurants and services! Family friendly, great for groups, date nights, and everything in between! You'll definitely get a decent value for your money! I had a disappointing experience today. I briefly set my coffee down on a stone bench while I stepped a few feet away to attend to my 3-year-old son. I was gone for less than a minute, and when I returned, a staff member had already thrown my drink away--even though it was still mostly full. When I asked why, I was told that he had asked around and no one responded. However, I was clearly nearby with my child. I understand the need to keep the area clean, but this felt unnecessarily rushed and inconsiderate. The staff member did apologize, which I appreciate, but there was no offer to replace or reimburse the drink. It would have been more thoughtful to wait a bit longer or make a better effort to locate the owner before discarding someone's purchase. I hope management can address this so other customers don't have a similar experience. read more

Midtown Tampa has an excellent directory of chain stores and restaurants and they do a great job of creating community and hosting events. There is a feeling of a soulless, fabricated town that I can't shake though. Besides being able to find a similar set up in any suburban town center, the grass is fake, the plants and flowers are fake, and there is a constant sewer smell, which makes me think the existing infrastructure probably wasn't intended to handle Midtown. Some of my favorite stores (William Dean, Whole Foods) and restaurants are there, so I'll just hold my breath and run in and out. read more

I'm usually getting bites to eat when I'm here and I don't stop at just one place. There's always an activity I'll participate in & I'm here for it!! If you're a resident nearby it can be the most shopping spreeish grocery run ever as you're probably stopping by Whole Foods, gettingBoba, ice cream @Ben & Jerry's. Grabbing some pasta by BellaBrava or a burger at Walk On's or Shake Shack!! -Then you have the courtyard of which there's always some sort of fitness, yoga or health expo going on. Also that comes 2nd. place to a meeting point for new transplants of Tampa. Overall Midtown is stopping point before you get to the official "Downtown" of the city & you will find it's always worth the pause. read more

Midtown Tampa is one of my favorite places to chill out. They have several good restaurants to choose from and different shops. The outdoor space is so fun and relaxing. They also have their Sunshine and Sunset markets once a month. If you haven't been, make plans to for lunch or dinner at one of their restaurants and stop in Buff City Soap for some non-toxic products. You won't regret it. read more

This is a fun little hotspot for shopping, eating, and living. It is a little more expensive based on the target audience, but there are things for a lot of people to do. Parking is relatively easy with the aTtached parking garage. There are also apartments on the campus so if you live here, things are really convenient. Midtown likes to host events like markets, trivia nights, and health oriented events. All of this is viewable on their website. There is a Whole Foods and a mixture of shops and restaurants. If you live in the apartments or stay at the hotels onsite, the area is very convenient and a great place to just hang out. Definitely a place worth the visit if you're in the area. read more

Midtown is the new hopping place in Tampa Bay! If you've not been then you're missing out! Literally! They are still growing and some areas are still under construction but what's here so far includes great Boba tea from Midtown Boba, amazing soap from Buff City Soap, delicious ice cream from Ben & Jerry, homemade artisan chocolates from William Dean Chocolatier, juicy delicious burgers from Shake Shack. Sephora is open as well as Caspers. Large center section with seating available every you can sit and enjoy the sun while sipping on your fav coffee or tea from Jeffrey's. Pet friendly and hotel and apartment style living above the storefronts. There's also a HUGE Whole Foods market which even I haven't checked out yet but is on my list. From what I can see in driving by is that they have a dining patio which means they have fresh food you can order and eat. Plenty of parking available in a few large garages as well as lot parking. This is a beautiful place to hang out during the day to shop around and dine. Easy entrance and exit. Located right off of 275 on Dale Mabry and Cypress. read more

Love this district! It's well maintained and it has a good variety of small stores, big stores (REI, Whole Foods), chain restaurants (Shake Shack!), and local eateries. The big common area in the middle is a fun place year-round but especially with the various events out there. Plenty of parking in the garages. This is one of our favorite places to visit and enjoy a couple of hours. read more

5 Stars because there is a little something for everyone here. Really excited they invested money in another hot spot for tampa. There is still construction going on but you can go and enjoy NUMEROUS businesses right now. Please note, it is surrounded by really nice (expensive) apartments which are super nice on the inside. Midtown Tampa is a good mix business property. A person can live, eat and shop there. If you want a staycation, there is 2 hotels there as well. Every other Tuesday, trivia is happening. You can go grocery shopping too at Whole Foods. If you want a nice treat, go to Ben and Jerry's or Midtown Tampa. Bella Brava is a nice, casual Italian restaurant. True Food Kitchen is very good. Midtown is a pretty unique shopping experience for Tampa. While visiting you can find a beautiful arrangement of shopping along with a few restaurants. I feel like they have something for everyone. I love how Midtown offers amenities for residents along with visitors...it's really a dope concept for everyone. I feel like a focal point like Midtown really makes Tampa standout. Midtown is beautiful and innovative! You have to see for yourself. It's perfect for dinner, taking a break, some shopping, or even just simply stopping by. During our visit, all the establishments were filled with courteous employees who you could tell were happy to be there; That's really a good feeling. Overall, our visit was quite enjoyable, we ate, got coffee, took pictures, went shopping, got ice cream, and even went grocery shopping at the Whole Foods located on site! It was definitely an eventful day and it was nice that everything was literally there! We plan to be back. I highly recommend Midtown! Go check it out! read more

Tampa's newest hotspot is quickly being filled with restaurants, cafe, health shops, and soon a food hall. The Whole Foods Market is drawing most of the people to the area, but little by little the apartments/condos are filling too. You can see the start of something really cool in town. There is ample parking, which you can't say about most of Tampa and for now at least it's FREE which is key. I went to Armature Works much more when the parking was free over there. Paying for parking to spend money just sucks. Midtown has a few events here and there, but mostly its just a space for people to enjoy and I like that too. Plenty of plugs/Wi-Fi for laptop remote workers like me. Almost every restaurant has outside seating too, another plus. Don't miss the rooftop bar at Aloft as well, Sal Y Mar. Plenty of reasons to head to Midtown. read more

Cute area they are building up. Almost everything is open now. Couple restaurants, coffee/tea shops, and a couple retail spots. The middle has a grassed area that you can lounge at. They were doing a yoga class the day I was there. Apartments and aloft hotel also in the area. Think this will become the IT spot in no time. read more

Love coming here especially on a warm sunny day. Whole Foods & a huge variety of eateries with some retail and fitness. Large park in the center of the plaza where they frequently host events. I deducted one star because I stepped in dog poop last time I was there (it was all over the sidewalk) and I do see homeless and/or drug addicts frequently and they make me feel uneasy at times. There is plenty of security but they can't be everywhere at once. read more
