I'm usually getting bites to eat when I'm here and I don't stop at just one place. There's always an activity I'll participate in & I'm here for it!! If you're a resident nearby it can be the most shopping spreeish grocery run ever as you're probably stopping by Whole Foods, gettingBoba, ice cream @Ben & Jerry's. Grabbing some pasta by BellaBrava or a burger at Walk On's or Shake Shack!! -Then you have the courtyard of which there's always some sort of fitness, yoga or health expo going on. Also that comes 2nd. place to a meeting point for new transplants of Tampa. Overall Midtown is stopping point before you get to the official "Downtown" of the city & you will find it's always worth the pause.

Midtown is the new hopping place in Tampa Bay! If you've not been then you're missing out! Literally! They are still growing and some areas are still under construction but what's here so far includes great Boba tea from Midtown Boba, amazing soap from Buff City Soap, delicious ice cream from Ben & Jerry, homemade artisan chocolates from William Dean Chocolatier, juicy delicious burgers from Shake Shack. Sephora is open as well as Caspers. Large center section with seating available every you can sit and enjoy the sun while sipping on your fav coffee or tea from Jeffrey's. Pet friendly and hotel and apartment style living above the storefronts. There's also a HUGE Whole Foods market which even I haven't checked out yet but is on my list. From what I can see in driving by is that they have a dining patio which means they have fresh food you can order and eat. Plenty of parking available in a few large garages as well as lot parking. This is a beautiful place to hang out during the day to shop around and dine. Easy entrance and exit. Located right off of 275 on Dale Mabry and Cypress.

5 Stars because there is a little something for everyone here. Really excited they invested money in another hot spot for tampa. There is still construction going on but you can go and enjoy NUMEROUS businesses right now. Please note, it is surrounded by really nice (expensive) apartments which are super nice on the inside. Perfect for any young professional who wants to be in a nice central location. So what's open? (As of April 2022) -Whole Foods -REI (Hiking outdoor store) -Sephora -F45 (Gym) -Joffreys Tea and Coffee Shop -William Dean Chocolates (Chocolate, macarons, ice cream) -Ben N Jerrys -Kale me Crazy (Healthy eating) -Shake Shack (Burger spot) -Midtown Boba -BellaBrava (Italian cuisine) -Oronzo (House italian) -Sal Y Mar (Rooftop bar) More to Come! Check individual yelp pages for these businesses/restaurants for specific reviews. Parking seems a bit weird at first but they have parking garages so you shouldn't have much trouble there. I've never paid for parking here. Hope they keep it this way instead of charging to park anywhere like sparkman and armature.

Tampa's latest hot spot for dining, shopping, drinking, renting and hospitality. Midtown is an urban neighborhood destination with modern architecture and contemporary features. Gorgeous Novel apartment homes surround the entire complex. Stores like Sephora, REI and Whole Foods are already opened for business, alongside restaurants like Shake Shack and Bellabrava. The Aloft Element hotel features Sal Y Mar rooftop bar, which serves legendary Old Fashions, and offers top notch views of Midtown and downtown. Ben & Jerry's is one of several more places to open soon! Located between Westshore and downtown Tampa, and conveniently located adjacent to 275. Ample parking available in the garage.

Midtown Tampa is a good mix business property. A person can live, eat and shop there. If you want a staycation, there is 2 hotels there as well. Every other Tuesday, trivia is happening. You can go grocery shopping too at Whole Foods. If you want a nice treat, go to Ben and Jerry's or Midtown Tampa. Bella Brava is a nice, casual Italian restaurant. True Food Kitchen is very good. More businesses will be opening soon. So check out Midtown Tampa.

Midtown is a pretty unique shopping experience for Tampa. While visiting you can find a beautiful arrangement of shopping along with a few restaurants. I feel like they have something for everyone. I love how Midtown offers amenities for residents along with visitors...it's really a dope concept for everyone. I feel like a focal point like Midtown really makes Tampa standout. Midtown is beautiful and innovative! You have to see for yourself. It's perfect for dinner, taking a break, some shopping, or even just simply stopping by. During our visit, all the establishments were filled with courteous employees who you could tell were happy to be there; That's really a good feeling. Overall, our visit was quite enjoyable, we ate, got coffee, took pictures, went shopping, got ice cream, and even went grocery shopping at the Whole Foods located on site! It was definitely an eventful day and it was nice that everything was literally there! We plan to be back. I highly recommend Midtown! Go check it out!

The "We Don't Do Sales" Mall…read more Yesterday was Mother Daughter Day and after not seeing my mother for over 30 days I wanted to give her a proper Tampa day. The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

It's been a while since I've been here and they definitely have a wide variety of stores. We did stop by and see the Easter bunny. The staff was super nice. They were doing a little dances and keeping the kids entertained. Also, we did find the coffee shop called E bar near Nordstrom. Which was pretty good actually. For lunch, we did stop at the food court, but I wouldn't eat there again. The food was terrible at wok o holic. There is better food outside the food court.

My time at Hyde Park Village was essentially an elite level window shopping experience with my…read moremother, and honestly, I would not trade that day for anything. She was with me for my hair appointment, so we turned the whole thing into a full blown mother daughter day, which made it special regardless of what we did or did not buy. Hyde Park Village is absolutely perfect for strolling, wandering, lingering, and people watching because if you want to observe how the well heeled set moves through life, this is your front row seat. You will see retirees with serious jewelry sitting at cafés for hours, young professionals dressed like they have brand partnerships, and valet attendants casually opening doors to cars that cost more than some people's homes. It is fascinating in the best way. As for shopping, I will say this with humor and humility, it is way outside of my budget. I can admire the displays, appreciate the tailoring, and mentally style outfits I am not purchasing, but when I look at the price tags I am reminded that I am there for the ambiance and not the transactions. That does not make the experience any less enjoyable because there is something wonderful about walking through a beautifully curated space without the pressure to buy. For me, Hyde Park Village works as a place to enjoy a gorgeous Florida day, grab a bite, observe the scene, and spend quality time with my mother, which is what truly mattered. I may not have left with shopping bags swinging from my arm, but I left with a memory of a really lovely day, and sometimes that is the better purchase anyway.

Bayport Plaza is accessible via a dedicated entrance / exit road off of the Courtney Campbell Causeway. This private boulevard runs along the edge of the Bay, and it is lined with mature Queen Anne palm trees that lead to a brick-paver entrance plaza. The plaza features a series of attractive fountains and lush tropical gardens that wind around to the garage area, and provide separate and distinct access to Bayport Plaza and the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay. The Plaza has several notable tenants including well-known companies in the financial services and high-tech industries. The views from their various offices are stunning -- especially as you go up higher in the building. These offices look out over Tampa International Airport and it's flight path, downtown Tampa, and of course the gorgeous views of Tampa Bay, the Courtney Campbell Causeway, and the Howard Frankland Bridge. Sunrises and sunsets are just magical on clear days. I'm always delighted to visit my clients within this office building, and to enjoy the breath-taking views from this wonderful office complex.

There were quite a few food places to choose from and a nice grassy area to sit outside and eat, which gave it a relaxing atmosphere. The downside for me was that there really weren't many shops; actually I believe I only saw one shop and it was for dogs. I think it would be much better if they added more shops and a souvenir shop would be awesome so visitors and cruise travelers could pick up some unique treasures while they're there. Overall, it's a decent spot to grab a bite and relax for a little while, but I was hoping for a bit more shopping and entertainment.
