Also called Harbor Lot. I wasn't aware that I should have reserved parking ahead while going on a cruise out of Tampa. At first, I accidentally went into a residential parking garage and was locked inside with my car and no elevator. Luckily a resident was leaving and was able to let me out. I eventually found the main cruise port parking garage, but they were full and sending people to this overflow lot. It's basically a field where they park your car and it's almost a mile walk to the port. The day we parked they had a shuttle to get us to the cruise ship, but let us know there was no shuttle to come back to the lot afterwards. There's only a one car sized entrance/exit so it gets backed up when there are a lot of people either trying to come in or leave. I would only recommend this out of desperation. Definitely reserve your parking ahead of time in the parking garage near the port. read more

When making a reservation online, I noticed a message that said that the lot was full but they had an overflow lot nearby. So when I was close by I called to confirm where I was supposed to park. PD: Parking Doctor Me: Hello, How are you? PD: what can I help you with ma'am? Me: I made my reservations online, can I confirm which lot I should be parking in? PD: just come to 1254 channelside drive we will show you where to park. Upon arrival, there were a bunch of guys standing around a folding table in a fenced area smoking cigarettes. The lot is in a makeshift grassy area between several dilapidated and empty warehouses. Upon returning from the cruise the driver pulls in by the gate and informs us that we either have to drag our luggage in between all the gates, through the muddy parking lot to our cars or we can pull our car around and he will unload the luggage. My car was a bit away and I had to maneuver around tree stumps, pot holes and half closed fences. Finally getting back to the gate, finding my luggage sitting in the middle of the field and no attendant. I am not picky, I don't normally even worry about where I park my car. But I didn't feel safe in this lot and I wasn't 100% certain my car was going to be there. I was not happy my luggage was left unattended. read more

We have used and referred people to the Parking Doctors for several years. It has been an affordable place to park. This year we cruised with a large group so we paid for/reserved a few spots. 3 weeks before the cruise, so of our group changed their arrival plans so I cancelled one parking spot. I didn't get a response via email so I called a few days later to confirm the cancellation and refund. It was to be refunded within 4 business days. I called again a week later. I was told (by the same guy I talked to the 1st time, that the refund wasn't processed correctly but he fixed it and I would receive it in approx 4 business days. No refund, so I called again the day before we were scheduled to park. We were told again that it was submitted and we would see the refund before we returned. Now more than a week since that phone call so I called again today. The same guy told me that it was submitted on the 15th (2 days after I was told that it was already submitted.) So the 4 business days has passed once again now that it is the 23rd. Now the bank will have to handle it. Customer service matters more than a low price. I won't do business here again or recommend anyone else to either. read more

I found parking doctors to be the least expensive option in the area for cruise parking.. they took care of my car and i didnt find a scratch on it when i came back.. they offered free shuttles to and from the cruise terminal and the driver was friendly and helpful to our luggage.. i would use them again. read more

Arrived at the Parking Doctors and we were immediately transported with other guests to our cruise ship. Upon return, we did not wait over 60 seconds before the Parking Doctors arrived and took us back to our car. Since Holland America was ahead of schedule in disembarkation, we were on the interstate traveling home before the time we were scheduled to leave the ship. A great experience. I pulled into the lot and was quickly checked in without even leaving my car. I parked and immediately got into the van and was headed to the cruise port. All within a few minutes. On the way back, after spending ninety minutes in line exiting the ship, it was great to see the van waiting at curbside right outside the terminal door. I hopped in and was back inside my car within a few minutes. With cruise ship debarking and disembarking being what it is - anything from slow to a total nightmare - it was so nice to not have to deal with an additional hassle when parking my car. I researched all available cruise parking options. I read a lot of reviews. I decided to try Parking Doctors and was very pleased with our choice. I like the idea I can keep my keys (we've parked at places where I they cram the cars in and swap positions to fit even more cars in). I booked online and brought my confirmation "just in case". It wasn't needed, they had my name and were expecting us. As soon as we parked our car, our bags were loaded and we were on a way. Very short drive. Our driver was courteous and explained where he would pick us up. When we disembarked, we followed his instructions, and we didn't even wait 5 minutes and were picked up. Again, a short drive and we were in our car and leaving Tampa. I will definitely use Parking Doctors again and refer them to all my clients cruising out of Tampa. read more

Great parking option. 45$ for 5 days during my cruise, were very prompt with shuttle service and also helped with all of our luggage for a family of 4 adults. They were very nice and respectful. We arrived on 5/26 from a cruise. We called and were told 15 minutes. Apparently they only have 1 shuttle van. We waited patiently and after 20 minutes called again. They told us where to wait so we moved to the exact sign. About 10 minutes later a van arrived and stopped where we were waiting originally. Now we moved back and a party of 7 were there and they just came out of the customs area. We explained that we have been waiting for over 30 minutes and the man yelled at us. My boyfriend told him we need to get to our car and we have been waiting for a long time. He yelled saying we are lying and he just saw us come out of customs. When we told him that's not true he said well now I'm gonna make you wait 45 minutes The Spaniah guy that drives the van took our luggage and we left with him. This was my second time dealing with them. The Spanish guy is very humble and nice but that stocky white guy has a big mouth and he knows nothing about customer service. read more

Used this company and lot for our Carnival cruise out of Tampa and will use again. Booked online to save some money and even took advantage of the driver only discount by dropping off my family and bags at the port before parking. The lot is very close to the port. Parked in a spot when I pulled into the lot and a van was waiting and took me straight to the port. When we returned, we took advantage of option to take our luggage with us exiting the boat to get off sooner. We were off the boat at about 8AM and only waited for about 5 minutes for the shuttle to arrive back from running people to the parking lot. The driver was very polite and helped with the bags. Van was in same condition as we left it. No complaints about the company or service. read more

Parking with the Parking Doctors was a pleasure. We made reservations before hand so when we pulled up, everything was already to go. They have safe fenced in parking. Upon arrival we waited maybe 5min, then the shuttle arrived. The shuttle driver loaded our luggage and we were at the cruise port in about 5min. We had such great service! We arrived late due to traffic and Henry was there to greet us warmly and quickly whisked us away to our Carnival cruise ship. When we returned, again, Henry greeted us with enthusiasm. We only waited about 5 minutes to get picked up from the port. Just returned from cruise today, called for shuttle got answering machine and left message . called twice more in next 45 minutes. Left my wife there with baggage and walked to lot. When we arrived we were greeted by the attendant and he graciously gave me a parking spot to accommodate the luggage rack on my SUV. The shuttle to the port was relatively quick. However, the reason for the three stars was the return was not good. The return from the time I called for pick up to the actual pick up was exactly 47 minutes. That included a call at 30 minutes to see what was happening and the shuttle not going to the area the gentleman told us to go but rather picking up others at a nearby location that waited there much less time. read more

Not worth the savings! They have you park in a massive lot of grass that is loaded with fire ants! The second I stepped out of the car in my sandals I got stung repeatedly. Literally ruined my entire vacation.... my feet swelled up so much I could hardly fit my shoes on, spent the cruise carrying around a bag of ice, couldn't walk, dance, wear my sandals or enjoy. What an awful way to start a trip. Wonder how much $ they save by not treating the grass.... do yourself a favor and park elsewhere!! read more

Good price. Poor web interface. They advertise special savings, but when I tried to reserve online, it would not take a card with an expiration date 5 years in future. They then refused any advertised discount. Parking bus is is slower to pick up than others in area, as others would have 3-4 buses passing before their slow one would come around. You get what you pay for. The lot was small and very muddy. We called for our pickup from the ship and waited 45-50 minutes for ride back to car. There is no system in place for return to ship. There were 50 people waiting for ride and a van that had 10 seats in it. So although we were one of the first to call for ride, whoever got to the van first as it approached were the ones to get on. They should keep track of order in which people call for return as this process turned into a mob type run to van ahead of anyone else who may have been waiting 30 minutes already. Arrived on April 3 to drop off car before being transport to the Port for cruise on Norwegian Star. Upon return on April 10, had to wait 20-30 minutes for shuttle. I called numerous times to be told that two shuttle vans have been dispatched. After waiting for an excessive long time one van arrived. They delivered exactly what I expected! We parked there for two weeks and were met by friendly staff and quickly driven to the cruise terminal. One option that we liked is that the lot is close enough to walk if you like. We did so on the turnover day to drop some things off before returning to the ship. Last January 2019 (The Great Tampa Fog Port Shutdown) we had a back to back 17 day sailing from Tampa (NCL Pearl and Carnival Miracle) and we had heard of the Parking Doctors from some frequent cruisers who claimed "they get it done, they may not be fast but they are inexpensive and safe." Well we tried our luck and found the team to be a bit on the rough edge but courteous and helpful..and to top it off in between sailings we had to do a little repacking and they opened up their doors to let us inside their building (where customers never go!) so we could refold the shirts and stuff we needed for our sailing Part Two.. We took the car out for the day and came back to the yard where we were just waved in and told to park wherever and they would get us back to the ship. Anyone who can't wait a few extra minutes at debarkation for the shuttle to arrive should really park at the port for $22 a day. But for those of you who have plenty of time and want to save your money to go on another cruise should consider using The Parking Doctors. We will! read more

Great parking spot for Port of Tampa cruising. I was very happy with the service to the port. They were waiting for us both coming and going and wisked us off to the ship promptly. It's literally two minutes from the ships and far less expensive than port parking. I highly recommend the facility and will use them if I sail from Tampa in the future. read more

The parking area is very humble, but directly across the street from Terminal 6 and not far from the others. Rates compare with a similar lot in Ft Lauderdale. Service is very friendly and transportation to the terminal is prompt and efficient. Returning, they return to the terminal until all passengers are off and pick up in the area with others. They are very dependable and have a quick application process. But they may sell out, so book at least a month in advance. They will guide you to your space. If I ever sail from Tampa again I will definitely use them. The only reason I gave a 4 is that some people may not like the grass lot. read more

There was no one to check us in when we arrived and had to wait at least 15 minutes for someone to get there. After we self parked, we waited for 45 minutes in the hot sun for a van to take us to the port. When we got back from our cruise, the man who met us said a shuttle would be there in a couple of minutes to take us to our car. We waited 40 minutes for that shuttle to arrive. We did complain to the person in charge and after awhile he said he would refund our money for all the inconvenience. We'll park in the cruise parking lot next time and avoid the wait. read more

We cruise alot and this was our first out of Tampa. Really had no idea who to use for parking and then we stumbled upon the Parking Dr's Enrique and Henry are honestly the most courteous and pleasant people running one of the establishments that we have seen! Lot is secure and looked extremely safe so I felt OK leaving my car there for 5 days. Another good thing is that you can keep your keys, I WILL NOT ever let anyone have 24 hour access to my car!! Upon arrival to parking area we were greeted and told exactly what to do. Shuttle was already waiting for us and we hopped in. Short ride to port with clear instructions on important things we needed to know for drop off and the upcoming pick up after we came back. The shuttle van is Newer and looks well maintained with no strange smells and that is good considering some of these places use older vehicles that have way too many runs on them! Upon arrival back we only had a short wait to get shuttled back to the parking area. Once there they unloaded our bags and away we went. Like I said the whole experience was wonderful and pain free. After our cruise, there was the van to take us to our working car. We got an itemized accounting for the repair--very reasonable. The price is decent, they even shuttle you to the terminal and pass your luggage off to the porters. My only issue is when you get back to port and they seem to have a problem getting you back to your car. I was standing in a line of 30 people and they sent a van that held 9 and everyone else stood out in the inclement weather while they went back to their lot and came all the way back. Very poor planning on getting you back to the lot. I ended up walking the mile back to my car because i got tired waiting for their lame ass. It almost seems typical that once they get your money, they could care less about the customer service from beginning to end. read more
