    Veggie Mo Mo (8 PCS)

Still love this spot! I've never ordered in house, I always order for pick up, but every time I wonder why I haven't gone back sooner. This particular time I ordered the veggie momos, veggie appetizer, palak paneer, and some naan. The palak paneer is always delicious, I love that they allow you to choose your spice level! I tend to like a little bit of spicy, so I like that option. This was my first time getting the veggie appetizer assortment, loved it all. As for the momos, also delicious! They came with so many in the order too which I didn't expect. It's all decently priced out and the pick ups are always smooth! Big fan of Cumin:)

This spot seems to be tucked away in an unassuming plaza but I'm glad a family member recommended it. My boyfriend and I dined in on a Friday night and there were only a couple other parties dining around 7:30 pm. The interior is beautifully decorated! The flower vases and rose-shaped napkins on every table were nice touches and made our date night feel extra cute and special. The service was also very friendly. We ordered the fish curry, paneer tikka masala, butter naan, and pulav rice. We requested a level 2 spice level (mild-medium). This was a subtle spice level for me -- a noticeable kick but not enough to make me sweat -- so we probably could have gone higher. Nevertheless, the food was plenty flavorful! I love a good tikka masala sauce and was not disappointed with this one. The salmon in the fish curry was a bit more well done than we preferred; overall the curry was just okay for us. The naan was thin and crispy, nice for dipping. This was a perfect amount of food for the two of us, and we will definitely be back to try more off of their large menu!

We were a group of 4. Ordered the Veg Platter for appetisers and the Veg Momos . Entrée were Chole, Saag Paneer. For the breads, we ordered Spinach Naan, Garlic naan, Lacha Paratha and, Basmati Rice on the side. For desserts-Gulab Jamun. The appetisers did not taste fresh (they were probably just reheated so were dry and very chewy and quite tasteless). Entrée tasted fine. Lacha paratha was poorly prepared and very tasteless aswell, the other breads, rice and dessert were okay. Service was prompt, ambience was below average, dingy too (the napkins also had a discomforting smell). I am okay to have visited the restaurant once, however it is more than likely that I may not want to repeat the experience, so sorry can't recommend.

The food is quite tasty however they do not serve alcohol. The server was attentive. The ambiance was of a small neighborhood restaurant. They have a lunch combo special during the day. I'd say it's heavier on the meat dishes vs vegetable. If your craving Indian food in the flamingo hotel neighborhood, this was a nice little find. Could be romantic for a couple, however no alcohol. My favorite dish was the Kadhai Lamb.

Great sit down place for dinner! This is a perfect spot for a family dinner. They had indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fast, there wasnt many people which was nice. We had the samosas (10/10), chicken curry (9/10), shrimp biryani (10/10) and the chicken tikka (9/10). Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this spot

Food was delicious! Their time estimates for takeout are also very accurate, but not necessarily speedy.

Hello, I was looking for buffets and your restaurant popped up. Is there a buffet? I would not have even known about you otherwise, but even if you don't have one, the food sounds great!

Hi! They don't have any buffets. They do have a lunch menu. But you can still order from the main menu.

Thinking of Mediterranean or Indian, Yelp! offered Himalayan Momo & Kebob ... just a few minutes away from Rohnert Park. As a food court choice among 8 others, I was reasonably satisfied with my "Regular Plate.". Rice, chickpea curry, chicken tikka kebob, and naan for a little less than $14. The chicken tikka was an excellent choice. The piece of chicken was cut into cubes and crisped in a frying pan -- very flavorful with just a touch of "heat". The rest of the meal was passable for mall food. The turmeric-colored basmati rice was a bit off the mark for Indian rice ... it had a few bits of cumin, but definitely lacked the cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon I spice my rice with, and sauteed onions were completely missing in action. The portion was almost 1.5 cups. The chickpea curry was a good choice, but if I had to guess, I'm pretty sure the chickpeas came out of a can. The portion was on the small side ... about 1/3 cup. The warm, foil-wrapped naan was tasty, albeit a little chewy, but understandable since the mall/food court wasn't busy for a Thursday close to 6 pm. I almost ordered a side of raita, but I turned down a 3-oz portion cup at $2.99. Good thing! The server gave me a 1-oz portion as a sample, and it was the saddest excuse for raita. It was so watery that it wouldn't even cling to a piece of chicken tikka. I couldn't give 3.5-stars, which is what I would actually rate my meal, but I didn't want to shortchange them either by giving only a 3-star review. Would I return? If I lived in the area, probably. There are a couple of other good choices in the food court that I would try first.

I ordered a CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA and Naan bread. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The meal came out quickly as was hot. The Tikka Masala looked like a small portion, but ended up with lots of chicken and was very tasty. The Naan bread was enormous. I mean it was a lot! I only used about a 1/4 or 1/3 to sop up the yummy sauce. Everything was good. I ended up taking the rest of the Naan bread home and enjoyed it re-heated. Nice place with a casual atmosphere.

Lately though, they expanded their menu, and holy moly, I had to write this review. They might have changed ownership too? Not sure, but something is definitely different. Generally, the food has always been good, but yesterday, our socks were knocked off by the tastiness of our meal here. First off: They now have deep fried momo's. And holy cow. We've had their steamed momo's which are good, but these deep fried ones are everything you want them to be. Crunchy on the outside and the chicken on the inside has a curry spice to it. It was a little on the salty side, but it didn't deter too much. The curry dipping sauce is also incredible. We also had a baigan bartha (eggplant) and chicken korma - both were way excellent! I feel like they really up'd the game. The chicken korma was so flavorful, even more so than before. I hadn't gotten the baigan bartha from here in a long time, but it was pretty awesome. Likely, they up'd the butter and cream... that's usually how it goes. But I dunno... maybe not just that, there's more complexity to the food. Anyhow, it was amazing. The service here is a little toned down, but not bad. You get the feeling that the workers / owners are pretty new here to the US... which takes me to the strange experience I had early on... On our 2nd time there, we asked for glasses of water, and what they brought out was incredibly hot water in water glasses. It was boiling hot. My husband asked if they could cool bring us cold water, and they were not super happy about that request, but they tried to do it. They came back with less hot water, but still warm. It was weird. You're eating spicy indian food, you want some cold water to cool you down. Anyhow, not sure if there was something going on with their water system, or what. But they were not very communicative, which makes me think perhaps they are new to the US. No judgement - coming from an Asian American myself. Anyhow, nothing weird like that happened afterwards, (they give you cold water) but I do sometimes deter from coming here because it's slightly hole-in-the-wall-ish. The lights are dim, making it feel a bit dingy. I hate to say it but as I get older, I just am less excited about hole-in-the-wall places, even though I loved them when I was younger. Now, I just want to eat in a nice enviornment. Either way, the food is great, and also not too expensive. So, we will continue to come. How can we not get those fried momo's!!!

From Washington DC to Ann Arbor to the Pacific Northwest throughout the Midwest and the southwest this restaurant in charming Santa Rosa receives my top three rating of the 200+ Ethiopian restaurants I have visited over the last five years. The beef tibs and traditional chicken with egg dishes were both top three. The cabbage, carrot potato vegetable, same as all of them; the lentils, and the collards, on the other hand, far exceeded my expectations. The key here was frankly the Lamb dishes. I understand from my server that his uncle has perfected the Lamb dishes and to his uncle I say bravo. Have never had Ethiopian lamb like this. The sauce was just spicy enough to let you know the spice was authentic, but not so spicy that you couldn't taste the herbaciousness of the lamb matched with the lightly vinegary flavor throughout the Injera, which, on its own, was spectacular. The source of the lamb soaked with the injera was top of palate! I will be traveling to Santa Rosa each month over the next three months, and expect to take clients with me to this fabulous family run establishment. People of Santa Rosa, visit. Enjoy.
