The delicious (medium spice) tikka masala.
    tim d.

First time at this Indian restaurant. Had the lunch special and chose the chicken tikka masala. The lunch came with basmati rice.naan and a lentil soup and a salad. The soup was very good with the tasty lentils, salad was with specialty lettuce, also very good and I chose the medium spicy for the masala. It was very good. The restaurant has a check in special that gives 10% off the meal, but our server had no idea what that was, and that he needed to talk with the owner. Ambiance for the place that is in a strip mall was a typical Indian restaurant, very few patrons during our visit. I would return, maybe next time will get that 10% discount.

A solid win! The food and service were very good. We ate lunch here on our way to a neighborhood nursery. Quite surprised as they are in a small strip center. A lady eating lunch outside said she eats there frequently, highly recommended. I had the apricot chicken... wow! Very flavorful, moderate spicy. Came with Rita, basmati rice, other sides including a small salad. More than enough for lunch. Try it, you'll like it.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant in the St Francis Center near the Safeway Friendly greeting as I entered for lunch. Very tranquil inside with attractive decor. My piping hot lunch included yellow pea soup, salad with a tasty dressing , chickpea and spinach dish, a curried vegetable dish, bread, mango chutney and cucumber/ yogurt taita. And rice.v Lunch was serv d on a metal tray with individual cups of the food. Service was pleasant. Highly recommend to clients who want to explore foods from India, Nepal and Tuber. Personally I found the food rather bland but all seemed very fresh, good quality and made with care.

Always on a search to find authentic Indian food, and I felt so lucky to stumble upon this place after stopping by Safeway! S E R V I C E: I came here around lunch, so it was pretty empty besides two couples that were eating inside. Nonetheless, I was greeted by the front and I ordered Saag Paneer, and the server told me all I could get when ordering through the lunch menu. I ordered to-go, and it took them about 15-20 min to cook my food. Everything was packaged nicely, and on their receipt it even said "You are amazing and beautiful just the way you are" which I thought was a sweet touch! F O O D: While living in India, Saag Paneer became my favorite dish. The lunch portion sizes were perfect! The paneer tasted as good as it was when I was in India, and I loved how it came with garlic naan, Dahl (lentil soup), a bunch of basmati rice, and Chana masala (I think that's what it's called!). They give you options on how spicy you want it - I asked for medium, but I'll probably ask for more spiciness when I come back. The mango lassi was delicious - I do wish it was colder but the mango tasted sooo good. O V E R A L L: I'm glad to see some diversity when it comes to food here. I'm excited to come back!

We had a wonderful Mother's Day dinner here! The service was terrific; we asked for recommendations and our lovely server suggested some delicious things that we might not have noticed on our own, including an egg pancake appetizer (pictured; I'm forgetting the name, but it was brand new to the menu and we all thought it was great, as was the sauce that came with it). We were all glad we asked for recs! We also had the artichoke pakoras, pumpkin curry, chana masala, aloo gobi, garlic naan, rice, and papadum (we were all obsessed with the avocado salsa it was served with), a bottle of Pinot Gris we all liked, and a mango lassi for me. Everything was so tasty, with delicious sauces, textures, and flavors. We have some food sensitivities in our group and their extensive menu was perfect, with tons of vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. They were also really accommodating, making the pumpkin curry with coconut milk instead of dairy. I'm looking forward to going back and trying the paneer and chicken dishes as well. Happy to have found a great new go-to for our family! Tl;dr: super nice people, awesome food, ask for recommendations and try what they suggest!

Food is always delicious here and the service is always prompt and friendly. When I come in the evenings there are always lots of food delivery folks picking up orders. All of the curries, vegetarian, chicken and lamb that I've tried have been good. The only inconsistent aspect is the heat level Ibalways ask for medium and it rarely has much heat, but one time it came out super spicy. Naan are always fresh and fluffy.

I got the lamb curry n hubby got the chicken curry. They were sooooo good. GO BACK WE MUST!!

By far the best Indian food in Sonoma County! Great food, staff, and atmosphere! A mainstay restaurant we can always count on.

Thinking of Mediterranean or Indian, Yelp! offered Himalayan Momo & Kebob ... just a few minutes away from Rohnert Park. As a food court choice among 8 others, I was reasonably satisfied with my "Regular Plate.". Rice, chickpea curry, chicken tikka kebob, and naan for a little less than $14. The chicken tikka was an excellent choice. The piece of chicken was cut into cubes and crisped in a frying pan -- very flavorful with just a touch of "heat". The rest of the meal was passable for mall food. The turmeric-colored basmati rice was a bit off the mark for Indian rice ... it had a few bits of cumin, but definitely lacked the cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon I spice my rice with, and sauteed onions were completely missing in action. The portion was almost 1.5 cups. The chickpea curry was a good choice, but if I had to guess, I'm pretty sure the chickpeas came out of a can. The portion was on the small side ... about 1/3 cup. The warm, foil-wrapped naan was tasty, albeit a little chewy, but understandable since the mall/food court wasn't busy for a Thursday close to 6 pm. I almost ordered a side of raita, but I turned down a 3-oz portion cup at $2.99. Good thing! The server gave me a 1-oz portion as a sample, and it was the saddest excuse for raita. It was so watery that it wouldn't even cling to a piece of chicken tikka. I couldn't give 3.5-stars, which is what I would actually rate my meal, but I didn't want to shortchange them either by giving only a 3-star review. Would I return? If I lived in the area, probably. There are a couple of other good choices in the food court that I would try first.

Paneer Dosa (10/5 stars) - it is perfect in every way, the dosa was perfectly crunchy and soft, the panner filling mix was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned, the soup was super hot but delicious and hearty, the chutneys went so well with the dosa Overall, this is going to be my go to mall food.

Although, I must have been looking at an older image of a menu on Yelp because vegan options were limited. But they existed. I ordered a vegetable pakora and a vegetable curry. I was asked what level heat from 1 to 5. I said 4 because I like a little inferno in my mouth. And the heat level 4 was a negative 6 for me. So next time, I'll ask for level 12.4. Now, I know I'm a white girl but this girl and take some scorch. I was a little disappointed in the heat level being so low. My vegetable pakora was well done (pics). I was also the only person in the dining room on a Sunday night. Maybe the cook had to check a text and forgot about the well done pakora in the fryer. I'd consider giving them another try but would give another place a go first. I'm obsessed just with Indian food and love it so much. My favorite place is in Windsor on the green.
