My brakes pads were worn. I was having vibration and squealing. I stopped by this morning, they were full. The gentleman was honest and said they didnt know if they would get to me today. I took my chances, and left my van. Just a few hours later, I received a call that my van was ready. I came to pick it up, asked how much it would be(with check book in hand) only to be told that there was no charge, and my brakes were still under warranty! No labor charge, no anything... it was 100% taken care of! WHAT??? I was blown away! You just dont get customer service, honesty and integrity like this anymore! My family is an Auto Connection family, and today just reaffirmed why!

NEVER ASSUME you will be treated fairly -- our costly mistake. --- Schaad's charged $23.71 for each of the FOUR spark plugs that could be baught at auto store for less than $10. Total for four = $94.84 Then they charged $125.00 to put the four spark plugs in. ----- Cost of the Tow was $65 ----- They broke the gas latch in the process of all of this. They ordered the part, we brought the car back and they fix it for free. They were very friendly and I was hoping to use them in the future for other vehicles. Instead, I've told my six sisters, their husbands and my two brothers about the $23.71 spark plugs. There are 18 nephew and nieces + spouses over the age of 25 that live in the area also. That is just my side of the family. We make it a point to share our experiences good or bad. Places to go to and use and those places to avoid and tell others to avoid. I don't mind anyone making money/a living. I even pay a bit extra for family owned and local businesses. But I will warn anyone and everyone to avoid those who take advantage (i.e., $23.71 for a single spark plug to go on an old, cheap car). At their shop you get personalized service that you would expect from a small local business(that is hard to find these days) they far exceed any chain auto shops. I moved about 1 hour away 5 years ago and I still make the trip there to get my car repaired, brakes, fuel pump, AC compressor, suspension work, and many others. I know when I go there I'm going to get my car fixed right the first time at a honest price. My car is a 1995 Honda with close to 300,000 miles on the original engine and transmission that they have kept running stong when parts have worn out.
