I'm in love with this place. Cunningham's Cafe and Bakery had me at Nutella latte, but when I saw the industrial decor, I was totally sold. This place is my ideal. Everything I have tried has been excellent, from the coffee to the soup to the bread to the quinoa to the baked goods. I was also surprised to see that, unlike most bakeries and cafes, they sell beer and wine. My only complaint is the hours--it's rare that I am not working during the times that they are open, so I don't get to indulge as often as I'd like. I'm saddened that I can't be more of a regular, but I still highly recommend Cunningham's. read more

The Cafe & Bakery at Cunninghams is wonderful! I have been coming here regularly for over a year and have never had a bad experience. The food is great (highly recommend the Eggs, Spinach, and sun-dried tomato wrap) and the iced coffee is smooth and has a bold flavor. The staff is friendly and always cheerful. Point blank period - everything I've ever ordered from here has been great - the woman at the counter with the blonde hair is always super pleasant and all of the customers always seem happy to be there! I frequent here to have brunch either solo or with company. I love the atmosphere, very rustic and cozy. They have outdoor seating which is great when the weather is nice. I usually sit inside, they have a TV which plays mostly cooking/lifestyle shows. The brunch menu doesn't have a vast selection. I particularly like their breakfast burrito and bagby market breakfast which was very appetizing and filling. It contains bacon, sausage, 2 eggs and potatoes. Paired It with iced tea or some days, a mimosa. The location is close to the traffic circle and parking is kind of tricky on some busy days. I really like this little place. They make the best bread in Baltimore by a tidy margin. Incomparable fresh complex flavor and wonderful texture: just enough chew and structural integrity but not so much that it's scraping up the roof of your mouth. The food is fresh, tasty and pretty reasonably priced. The omelette of the day is massive and delicious. I think the coffee is just okay. I find the TV incongruous and unwelcome but it's always muted. The space is otherwise very pleasant for a bite to eat or sitting with a coffee and some work. The best thing about Cunningham's is the service. The staff is warm, efficient and very quick to correct anything. The staff seem happy to be there and clearly want you to have a good experience as well. When I was there as part of a large group we were comped several bakery items and given samples of some of their drinks. Everyone has been both perfectly attentive and given me enough space to feel linger as I choose. Some places like this give me the feeling they want me out the door as quickly as possible after I hand them money. Cunningham's has struck the perfect balance as far as service is concerned. I came here for lunch on a weekday. If your not familiar with this place than parking can be an issue. Parking garage doors were closed or said private parking only. I parked at the mall and walked over. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a bowl of corn chowder. The sandwich was good but nothing special that you couldn't get at Fresh Market or Corner Bakery. The soup was really tasty though but a bowl was the size of a teacup. Not sure if they gave me the right size. Service was great. Is it a place I would frequent? My sister showed me this place and I have been many times since. I love their Italian hot cut and their breakfast options that I have tried, The Market Breakfast and Breakfast Burrito are my favorites that I order again and again. They do have a omelette of the day and soup of the day which I like depending on what it is. It is a perfect place have a coffee date and when you dine in, they have actual mugs and plates. There is plenty of seating as long as it is not too crowded inside and outside. Parking is limited because they have one free small lot, but considering that usually parking in Towson requires payment. The service is always great for both dining in and carrying out. This is a great addition to the Towson dining scene. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and courteous (a rarity in Baltimore). They offer the option of dining on the patio or in the cozy interior. They can accommodate a single diner or a small group. The only con, and it's a big one, is that they consistently (66% of my orders) overcook the proteins. Ask for medium rare and get well done. Ask for poached eggs and get medium boiled. I almost dropped them to 3 stars, but the overall flavor and meal experience was still good. Just had breakfast here at Cunninghams Cafe with the fam. I had the BLGT ( bacon lettuce fried green tomato) it was prefect i got it with a side of fries which they cut in house the sandwich had siracha aoli abd it was an excellent spin on the blt. My three year old had two plain pancakes which were fluffy he dosent like syrup so he got it with a small sprinkle of powdered sugar. And he devoured it. The atmosphere is very relaxing the staff is awesome very kind attentive and personable. read more

Further, she knew the menu to a tee and called me with questions as well as suggestions for items that I might need for the lunch. Went to grab two sandwiches to go at 220 on a Sunday, sat there for about 30 min while two couples came in and sat down, got their orders shortly after. The guy at the front working on his accent then said since they were closing soon things were slow, but it was clear they forgot our order. They then brought on sandwiches out on plates and we had to ask to get them to go again. As we opened our sandwiches to eat at my grandpa's, they ended up messing up our order and making the wrong sandwiches. LAZY and stupid. read more

Very good food and cute indoor and outdoor areas. They sell soup, salads, the typical cafe foods but definitely much higher quality compared to Panera and THB. They also sell cans of beer which is kinda cool. Nice atmosphere overall. Just expect to spend a little more money. The Caesar salad is very good and so are their pastries. read more

I've never eaten there myself, but just purchased a $50 gift card as a gift. The greeter was nice; however, the manager who waited on me was extremely rude and snooty. He put my credit card down on the podium. After I signed the receipt, he never gave so much as "Thank you". As others arrived, he grabbed menus and just stood there looking at me, waiting for me to leave before seating them. I comtemplated either asking for the general manager or a refund. Eventually, he asked why I was still there and I told him. How tacky! I will not ever go back for myself or anyone else. read more

Had a fantastic goat cheese and Sausage omelette for breakfast. The ingredients tasted fresh and I loved the side salad touch for the side dish. One little annoyance...the food was delivered to our table and the lady asked us if we needed anything else. My wife asked for hot sauce and instead of walking twenty feet to grab it for us she proceeded to point in the direction where it was. I'm all for serving myself, but it felt slightly off from a customer service standpoint. It's all about the little things when it comes to keeping customers so I was really surprised that she dropped the ball. I'd definitely come back for the food. read more
