This is a fantastic local hardware store located right on Pennsylvania Avenue. They have a parking lot that's located behind the store which was much appreciated while the snow covered most of the street parking. The service is great. The store is packed with everything you might need along with great customer service to help you when needed. Shopping local is important these days ! I'll be back! read more

I moved to the area somewhat recently and love this store, Rick and Bonnie are always very pleasant and extremely helpful. My experience with them started with a need for something minor but in a hurry. They are always well stocked with very reasonable pricing, plus the availability to outsource some other services. I prefer the mom and pop shops over the big box for most things, especially when you know what you want, to get in and out, and not deal with crowds, plus you support your own neighbors and community. They always remember your face, even in my case with often long times between visits due to surgeries and mobility issues. Always willing to go the extra mile and make their customer's day better than when they walked in. Services you really can't get at those big box stores! read more

Sat.1-10-26--Rick and Bonnie went over and above helping my daughter and I with a clogged sink. We tried to unplug it. My daughter went down to Cunningham's and Rick helped her with all she needed. But it wasn't enough. Called Bonnie and Rich and asked if they could recommed a plumber. He gave us 2 local names of plumbers and a little bit of infor. We called Bravo and he was out within the hour. Nice man named Skip. Could not be more helpful. Explained everything he was doing for us. He gave us an estimate of the cost before he started. Cleaned up after the job was done. I would recomend Cunningham"s and Bravo anytime. I will be going back there all the time. It was the weekend and they came out. Yea! read more

How cute is this Cunningham's Hardware?? It is the cutest! I came here as a new, and extrememly pregnant, resident of Morrisville because I did not want to drive out to Home Depot for some screws and nuts. Walking into Cunningham's you get warped into the 1980's where I assume the conglamorates of Home Depot and Lowe's had not yet taken over and you went to your local hardware store to get advice on what to use on your repairs. As soon as my VERY pregnant self waddled in, I was promptly greeted from over the counter with a friendly face asking what I needed. In our move to Morrisville, we lost some hardward to our furniture and I assumed it was going to be at least $20 as I saw online the pack of nuts would cost at Home Depot. Well, the gentleman at Cunningham's found exactly the size of bolts and nuts I was looking for and charged me a whopping 75 cents! Yes, under a dollar! I was so stunned that we both laughed at my dropped jaw and confused reaction to the bill. I have since sent hubby here for any hardware we needed, I love supporting local businesses and this one seems top notch - so definetely come check them out! read more

This place came through in a clutch recently when I needed it most. I came here when Home Depot, Lowe's, and Sears Hardware failed me. It's a small, privately owned hardware store, but there is so much there, a little bit of everything if you will, to take care of whatever you need (the aisles are pretty tight though, due to so much available.) And the owner is the nicest guy, with the sweetest, big ass black lab behind the counter. First thing, I needed to get a screen frame repaired for a window in my house that I was selling. I attempted to merely replace it at the other hardware stores, but they only carry particular brands of screens and don't do repairs. I went to Cunningham, and he has a guy that comes in a few times a week and repairs screens. I had a screen as good as new back within a week. Next, I needed someone to do a simple repair on my roof. I had called at least three roofers in the area with no response. It was getting down to the wire for the close date, so I asked Cunningham if he had any reliable contacts. He did. As a matter of fact he pulled out a big black binder of contacts (I'm serious) and had one roofer, who indeed turned out to be more than reliable and reasonable. I also picked up a door chain and had copies of a couple keys made here. He even made the copies on two different key stocks to ensure I had one that worked, but only charged me for one, and told me to come back if they didn't work. They worked better than the copies I had. It's too bad I didn't find this guy before moving, but I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. read more

I have lived in Morrisville, PA for ten years and this hardware store is the best thing in Morrisville, and perhaps in PA when you are in a hardware crunch. Bonnie and Rick are hardware experts - truly. If you live in a Toll Brothers community, then you can get anything you need at one of the box stores. For those of us in real houses, in need of REAL hardware, Cunningham's is the place to go. On numerous occasions I have tried to find something at Lowes/Home Depot/Sears - especially on Sunday when CH is closed. After striking out, I head over to Cunningham's during the week (or Saturday) where I speak directly with the owner. If he doesn't have it, he'll get it. He's like a bloodhound when it comes to solving resource issues. Owner operated, small business, extremely friendly, knowledgable, and accessible. During the most recent snowstorm, (only one of the many this season!), our snow shovel broke. Called HD. Naturally, they were sold out. Then I thought of Cunningham Hardware in Morrisville. Had been there before once or twice. Called, and Rick, the owner, said, "Yeah, I still have lots of shovels. I was just turning off the lights to go home and shovel myself. But, I'd be happy to wait for you." WHAT?! Who does that these days?! There's really someone out there who still cares about service and helping out someone?! I am doing some DIY projects in an older home, and the first place I go for replacement parts and good advice is Cunningham's. The business hours aren't as long as Home Depot or Lowe's, but it's definitely worth adjusting your shopping schedule. In the time it would take to walk in from the parking lot of a big box store, you'll be in and out of Cunningham's with the exact product you need. And if what you need is just a couple washers, screws, hooks, or whatever, you can get the number you want and not end up with a whole package of assorted sizes. Important too, they know someone who can do everything. Chap wanted $75.00 for window repair, called Rick he gave us the name of Glass repair shop and job done for less than $20.00. Cunningham's Hardware is just a great hardware store. Rick is extraordinarily knowledgeable and always super helpful. I go to Cunningham's whenever possible and choose it over the big box stores. I am not saying the big box stores have no place, it is just that Cunningham's is a much better shopping encounter. Rick is ready and able to assist the moment you walk in. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because this is hands down the best hardware store I've ever shopped in. The owners are so helpful and friendly and take the time to explain things and help you get exactly what you need. The store may be small but I've never stopped in for something and didn't find what I wanted. So far above the big box stores in the level of service it doesn't even make sense to mention CH and Home Depot in the same breath. I have to say that Cunninghams Hardware is the best little hardware store around. I live only 2 miles away from a Home Depot and will go to cunninghams 7 miles away first, for it's friendly service and it's almost endless supply of hard too find items. Plus if they dont have it they will be happy to order it. I've lived in this area for 49 years, way before the mega stores were around, and remember my Dad taking me to stores like this as a kid. If you need to build a deck or an addition then the mega stores are for you but if you need the small obscure part or fitting or whatever check out Cunninghams. read more

Hands down, the best hardware store I've ever been to! It's amazing what they have. The store owners are completely friendly and helpful. You might think a little store like that would be expensive but they are very reasonable. And it sure beats driving and waiting in line at a big box store. More people need to come to Cunnigham's!
