What i loved the most was that the food wasn't overly seasoned..just enough to compliment but not mask the flavor of the beef and the tomatoes perfectly! Somehow I have overlooked doing a review on a restaurant I've dined at many times in the three years I've been living here. Maybe I was subconsciously protecting this gem of a restaurant from being overrun by customers making it hard to get a reservation. Well I can now correct this oversight. As I have seen stated in other reviews I too am originally from NJ where it seems like there is an Italian restaurant or pizzeria on every corner. I'm looking for Italian food similar to what we enjoyed there we originally stumbled upon Cuocco Pazzo at their smaller location 3 years ago. Since then they moved to larger space but still provided us with great food just like back in NJ. So I would say to anyone from NY/NJ this should be your go to restaurant whenever you are hankering (definitely not a NJ word) for real good Italian cooking in a wonderful setting. read more

Such an un expected find. Tucked into a strip mall with a bunch of restaurants I walked in at about 7pm and it was packed!! I was struck by the beautiful decor. Much more elegant than typical. Found this restaurant on a whim and it did not disappoint. John was our waiter and had the best recommendations. Oh boy. Started off by ordering a bourbon and coke. The drink tasted like swamp water. Coke or in this case Pepsi needed a new canister. No good. Ordered the Veal Saltimbocca...terrible. The worst I have ever had. Features provolone and Prosciutto. The provolone was sliced sandwich provolone. Not grated from a block which is loaded with flavor but the kind you buy for quick sandwiches. The prosciutto was there but soggy? and the veal was not seasoned. The pasta tasted wonderful. I celebrated my elopement here with my closest family and friends (10 people) and they really hit the nail on the head with all the entrees! Prices are very fair, the quality is above average and the service was amazing! We never needed anything, they were there to make sure we were beyond taken care of! I didn't know this place existed until I was looking for Italian, which is our favorite! I am so happy to say I'll definitely be back! Yum! My mom loves pasta and this little spot did not disappoint. The menu has a great selection of you love pasta like she does. There was a great variety on the menu along with daily chef specials. I had the Fettuccine Basciola and it had pancetta and mushrooms. It was flavored very well and I loved every bite. The portion sizes are large , so both my mom and I had leftover for later to enjoy. The waitstaff was great and made some good recommendations. The restaurant itself isn't very big, but they do have some outdoor seating as well. It was a very wonderful meal and I will be back. Few things will make me want to leave my hood, much less cross that bridge into the Mt P area, except Cuoco Pazzo. Granted it's been a few years, thanks Covid, but yesterday I decided enough was enough! I wanted some pasta! This has always been my go to for good carbs that comfort me like only grandma's cooking can. Upon arrival, I was surprised they had moved into a bigger place, but happy to know they survived and thrived the last few years like the rest of us. Location is very weird. It's in a strip mall with a furniture store, sports store and a Latino market. The decor is old school and kind of quirky. They had multiple box/temporary fans going as if they didn't have air conditioning. This is a hidden gem, We stopped on a Friday night and were able to be seated quickly. Although the seating and decor is a little reminiscent of a wedding. This is a good Italian restaurant that also has a great, more intimate, dining experience. I came here on a Friday early evening around 5pm right after it opened. This was a good time to come because a lot of the tables were already reserved but it wasn't too busy that we had to wait. The space is small so if you want to come at a more busy time make sure to reserve a spot. For my dinner I had the lobster ravioli in the vodka sauce. The ravioli was really good, I could taste the lobster in it for sure and the ricotta was also delicious. I would have liked more raviolis in the dish because I did come very hungry. However if you are at a normal hunger level this would probably satisfy. I ended up using the complimentary bread basket to dip into my sauce which was also very good. I also tasted the chicken Parmesan and that was tasty as well. It came with the chicken as well as spaghetti with red sauce on the side. This was definitely a more filling entree than my raviolis. Decent food, an all round great variety of wine on the menu, a cozy feel .. only enough seating for about 40 customers and top notch efficient service. Loved this place. We were very lucky to snag a table for two.. the last one. One tip if you want to try this place, reserve on the weekends. It gets very busy and I saw many customers wait.. some left.. unfortunately for the owners. Anyway.. the food was great, all written in Italian on the menu with English underneath. This is one of those spot's that I always drive by think about going to the next time I'm looking for Italian. I've heard great things but the location always made it seem to fall off my radar when it came time to make a dinner decision. I finally made it over for a visit and it's now definitely on my radar. I might have had the place built up in my head from all the recommendations I've received about the place. It was very good and the service was excellent but, I think I need to try it out a few more times before I would say it's amazing. I started with the Vongole o Cozze al Vino Bianco (mussels in a white wine sauce) and they were excellent. We finished the mussels and kept the broth around for bread dipping throughout the meal. For my entree, I ordered the Vitello alla Vodka. It was two veal cutlets served with a side of penne and smothered in vodka sauce. I felt like the sauce had less of a creaminess I'm used to with vodka sauce and all of the acidity of a red sauce. Again, it was good, just not what I expected for my personal taste. I maybe should have gone with my gut on ordering off of the specials menu. I tried my friends caprese chicken entree and it was light with a very authentic Italian flavor. Authenticity is likely their biggest attribute which I can attest to from the cannoli. Surprisingly, many people don't do cannoli's right, but this one had the perfect thickness on the pastry and the filling was a rich ricotta cheese with chocolate chips and almond. It was definitely top notch. I'm looking forward to coming back and making my way through more of the entree's for sure. read more

For dinner I ordered the veal parmigiana with penne and requested vodka sauce on my side of penne. They kindly accepted my request and everything came out hot and delicious. The veal was tender, thin, and perfectly breaded. The penne with vodka sauce was also delicious! The portions here are large so you definitely won't leave hungry. Our server was also very nice.
