This slimey sweaty old horrible tasting whatever (tasted like raw chicken) not smoked dried turkey breast as requested .horrible

As an all italian transplant from hoboken to cliffside park I've been on the hunt for a close italian deli when I can't get to fiores in hoboken my first choice ... this Cuomos is no where near the authentic level Italians expect . The reason it got a one star is the Mutz it was good. The cold cuts had no taste /flavor at all past rotten and the grated cheese had flakes looks like bugs shells ... I did try to call to alert them but was told I'd get a call back . Too late now had to replace them.(see photo)

Heard good things about this place so took a trip to see for myself. Walked in first thought was this looks like it's going to be good. Was greeted by who I believe was the owner. Very nice man asked if we were going to sit and eat. Had a table cleaned off for us. Ordered the chicken Parm sandwiches. Food was served warm, chicken cooked well, sauce was good, fresh mozzarella on it . Staff was nice, My daughter loved her chicken Parm sandwich, as a note she usually doesn't like food with red sauce, but this one was good. Bread toasted perfectly, they didn't drown the sandwich in sauce and good amount of fresh mozzarella. Definitely have to try other things on the menu so we will be back. The decor was pretty good with the old pictures and Italian meats hanging everywhere.

Popular spot amongst the locals - you can either get deli options at the counter or sit in the Trattoria and order their dine-in options! They have a wide selection of sandwiches - even focaccia and panini options. The Parma was great on the ciabatta and generously packed with prosciutto - was delicious!

Cuomo anf Sons, my husband has been a fan of this deli whenever he has a chance to drive through North Bergen. This past weekend, we had friends coming from out of town visiting and wanted to have a good deli place to check out.

Came to try it out all the way from California. Best customer service, food was AMAZING !! A must stop !

Growing up in Brooklyn and seeing the strong reviews, I was really excited to try Cuomo and Sons. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite of what I expected. They charged me $20 for just 0.7 lb of seafood salad (pictured) and $6.50 for two small cookies. I usually don't complain about pricing, especially in today's age, but $30 a lb for seafood salad, from a deli, is borderline outrageous. On top of that, I ordered the Piadina chicken cutlet panini, which is supposed to come with hot cherry peppers, Swiss cheese, and roasted pepper mayo. Instead, I was given the wrong sandwich (pictured): breaded chicken with mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, and no mayo at all. Between the overpriced items and receiving the wrong order, I left very disappointed.

Could be a little bigger for price

If you're looking for an old-school Italian deli in the North Bergen area, Cuomo & Sons is a solid choice. They have a great selection of Italian specialties, from fresh cheeses and cured meats to delicious sandwiches and hot prepared foods. I tried their chicken cutlet sandwich, which was crispy and flavorful, though not the best I've ever had. The cannolis were fresh, with a nice crunch and creamy filling. The chocolate ones were my favorite. They also have a great variety of imported goods and deli staples, making it a good spot for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors. Service was friendly, and the place has that classic, no-frills neighborhood deli feel. Overall, a very good spot for Italian comfort food--maybe not the absolute best, but definitely worth a visit!

Always a must stop when in north Bergen . Espresso is the best around . Hot food for lunch is also always incredible. Can't miss with any of the Italian specialty sandwiches which are done authentically which is saying a lot for this area . Cinque stelle

This is a small, high quality establishment featuring prime imported ingredients. I plumped for a hero with their home made mozzarella, prosciutto, and hot capicola. Each component was top quality, but the sandwich needed another item to hold it together. Seafood salad was packed with fresh ingredients and tasted of good quality oil. Sliced mortadella was the real McCoy, direct from Italia. A package of 6 small filled cornettos, from Cianciullo, seemed pricey at $12.00, but was very good. I would certainly return if in the area, but not sure I would make another pilgrimage.

I know this is an absolute staple in the area and it has its own regulars and cult following. However, if I wanted to go out for Italian food, I would not pick this place. In fact, every time I go here, it's always because of someone else's suggestion. There are some things on here that are fine - the pizza, for example, is sufficient. Their salads are also decent - usually large and fresh. But I've had some of their other hot foods and have been majorly disappointed. The calamari - from a bag, greasy. The grilled chicken panini - no flavor at all. I asked for balsamic vinegar and they had none, which is wild for an Italian restaurant. Even the wine tasted stale the last time I went here. I will give props to the waiters who are always very accommodating and pleasant. The vibe here is nothing fancy - more like a step up from a pizzeria, great to go after a movie or another activity. Like I said, this just wouldn't be my first choice for Italian food because there are much better places in the area, IMO.

Both main dishes could have easily been split up for 4 people. The Calamari as well-- which is considered the smaller portion-- is absolutely enough for 2. They gave bread and butter, as well as a simple salad which is always appreciated. Yes, this place is BYOB and the service was kind enough to offer an ice bucket as well. The food was delicious-- I loved my seafood pasta dish, their muscles were soft and clams were cooked just right. They even put fresh basil on every pasta dish. Only con I found was the overstimulating environment -- it is also an antique shop so there's many bags, jewelry cases, and many other interesting items everywhere. Cool concept, but I think with more elevation, and a better location, this place can really get a kick.

It was an honest mistake. The car was there for around an hour, the lot was mostly empty with plenty of open spaces, and the lot itself is a good distance from the restaurant with no valet or staff present on site. Even if there is signage somewhere, it clearly wasn't visible or obvious enough for a normal person to realize, yet they still chose to tow the car within about an hour despite there being no urgency and no shortage of parking. The towing company Patsy's partners with then charged over $300 in storage and payment fees, including charges that NJ Consumer Affairs later required to be refunded, and they refused to release the vehicle while still charging storage for days. During that time, I had to rely on Ubers to get home and get around, adding even more unnecessary cost and inconvenience. It took nearly two months working with investigators before the towing company finally issued the refund -- the investigator even had to follow up more than once before they complied. Patsy's is responsible for the vendors they choose and how their policies impact people. Partnering with such an aggressive towing company and allowing something like this to happen -- especially when the neighboring lot wasn't full, the car wasn't there long, and it wasn't even clear the lot belonged to them -- says a lot. The experience was unnecessary, stressful, and entirely avoidable, and people should be aware of how they handle situations like this. Because of this, I won't be dining at Patsy's going forward, and I'd strongly encourage others to think carefully before choosing to do so.
