Pizza has been my favorite food since I was in the womb, and this is hands down the best pizza in Fort Lee. It's surprising how difficult it is to find a pizza spot in town comparable to those top NYC spots, when Fort Lee is such a culinary Mecca. This place beats out the regular slices from Artichoke, and at a fraction of the cost. I absolutely love the white and plain slices here. Two white slices cost me $7.40, and they offer their own free delivery (of course, please tip generously). The people who work here have consistently been really nice, too. I'm leaving this review in support of this locally owned business, since it would benefit us all to keep gems like this in business especially with the economic times of today. read more

We have only ever ordered from Pomodoro for take out and haven't dined in yet. The past few times we have gotten food from here, it has always been positive experience . We ordered two pizzas and an order of meatballs. I didn't see the meatballs order, however my husband said it was good. The pizza I had was delicious with chicken, penne vodka sauce, and mozzarella on the soft dough. Pomodoro is noticeable as you drive by the location down a broad street. In search of some New York style pizza nearby and decided to give Pomodoro a try. Or really, a retry (?) since having not been there in over 5 years. Pizza is just as I remember it, very solid. Using the One Slice Guy rating, I would say 8.3, which is good! Other factors in their favor, great location on a quiet street. Nice website for ordering pizza and it was ready exactly when the website suggested it would be. So that bumps them up to an 8.9. I was feeling Italian the other night and, since we don't have a go to local Italian restaurant, we decided to try out Pomodoro. They were having a special for 10% off on all items. I preferred the manicotti (which I haven't had in years) and my husband ordered chicken park pizza. With our order, they gave us a side of bread and butter, dipping sauce for the pizza and a small little Italian cookie. We ordered directly from the restaurant and the food was delivered on time. My husband really enjoyed his pizza. He says this will be his new pizza spot from now on. My manicotti was good too but I don't think I enjoyed it to the extent my husband liked his pizza. It tasted generic. The cheese on top was just like a slice layered on. The portion size was good and it felt light. I didn't need a siesta after eating it. Quaint Italian spot hidden off the beaten road. All Italian spots are pretty much the same. You can judge them by their certain style of cooking. How tender the chicken francese is. How tasty their sauce is. The complimentary table bread. The dessert options. They do brag about their brick over pizza and it was good. It had a clean taste to it, not oily or heavy. This place similar to all other spots, but what made me feel this place stood out than others was the tasty and tangy marinara sauce. It did have a unique taste unlike others. It's very tough finding the right tomato sauce in my opinion. So if you're in the mood for Italian and a unique tasty red sauce experience then try this place out. read more

Their appetizers & pizza is quite decent, but honestly, other dishes are just OK. Better order a couple of appetizers & a pie to spend the night with some wine. Not bad! I recently had the Supreme Pie ($16.95) delivered and delivery was on time and the pizza was delicious! Really liked the combination of toppings and the freshness. Quantity was just right as well. Never felt so lucky that I live within a few blocks! On a more recent pick-up order during Coronavirus lockdown, I walked up (weather was nice so everyone was getting some air) and the owner came out with menu to take our order curbside, being cautious to keep social distance. We ordered the meatball parm sandwich ($8.95) and Tortellini alla Panna ($15.95) to go. The meatball parm sandwich was as delicious and full as can be with robust marinara sauce and hefty meatballs. And I really enjoyed the Tortellini. It's creamy with perfect al dente bite that I really enjoyed chewing. Being a cream pasta obv. it's tad bit on heavier side though I don't mind. (You might do well to have seltzer water pairing!) Only thing is the price - I think it's a tad bit expensive for the smaller quantity given that there were just handful of tiny strips of prosciutto and the rest was just cheese and flour. Pizza was okay, nothing special and toppings were sparse for being a supreme, and it was not particularly chewy or crisp (pizzas tend to lean towards one or the other). Calamari was good (it always is) but this is one of those places that only includes the rings, no bodies/tentacles for those that care. Portion of calamari was overpriced for what I usually get at other Italian places. We were told over the phone that delivery would take 50 minutes. We confirmed the address multiple times because delivery drivers often make a mistake, and were assured that they were given the right address. Love this place. On the first night in our new home, we were desperate for some good Italian food. This is the first restaurant we have ordered takeout from in Edgewater and have found a favorite local spot! So far we have ordered the Margherita pie, fried calamari, chicken parm sandwich, shrimp parm meal and fettuccini alfredo meal with grilled chicken. Flavor is great and the portions are appropriate. I love extra sauce for everything and they do accommodate my request each time lol, which I am super grateful for! I have just recently moved to the area and my brother suggested to order from Pomodoro's if you want a great margarita pie and he was 100% on point with that suggestion. Everytime I call Pomodoro's I am always assisted over the phone by a lovely employee and the delivery is very fast and efficient. We have ordered so far.. Margarita pizza's, garlic knots and mozzarella sticks and everything was super delicious. The margarita pizza is nice and thin crust with tons of flavor from the delicious sauce. The garlic knots are always a welcome addition to any pizza order and were quite tasty as well. The mozzarella sticks were a bit soggy but the was probably our fault for not scarfing them down quick enough, none the less still delicious. The food is still delicious!! My favorite thing to order is penne arrabiata. I love spicy food, I always get it with whole wheat penne and grilled chicken. I've tried most of the past dishes on the regular menu and I've never been disappointed. As for appetizers I love the mussels, and of course I get the spicy sauce. No shade to Papa John's, Domino's and all the other pizza joints, but if I lived closer to Pomodoro, all the other pizzas could never hold a flame to the pizza I just had today. First of all, let's talk about the ambiance. The restaurant is quaintly decorated, with lights, outdoor seating, and paintings reminiscent of Italy. I must say, seating is very limited, but we got there at a pretty decent time and beat out most of the dinner rush. Service was pretty decent! We were seated immediately and within minutes, we were given menus and our order was taken. All the waiters that attended to us were very kind and professional. Toward the end of our meal, the dinner rush had started and we were unfortunately seated in the corner, so it took quite a bit to flag down a waiter. I won't remove stars because that wasn't their fault. Meal quality was AMAZING. We started out with the complimentary bread, which was warm and soft. We moved on to the house salad which was also good, nothing special. Then we got to the pizza. We got the 16" Abruzzo Pizza (Vodka sauce, chicken tenders, and mozzarella) and it was wonderful!
