    Cannoli's & Espresso.

    * Seafood Salad * Fresh Mozzarella * Cannoli's * Espresso A great family run italian deli. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. They have a large selection of salads, sandwiches and hot dishes. Definitely try the fresh mozzarella because it is house made to perfection daily. They have very friendly staff, the owner Vinny is a gentlemen. They serve generous portions at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend!!!

This is the place to go if you an authentic Italian restaurant with an owner who cares for all of his customers. The lunch meals delicious and filling. They always have several options of freshly made hot and cold food to choose from. Great place for lunch.

I was looking for some Italian food and this place came up in my search. Authentic Italian food, served cafeteria style. I've tried the chicken francaise, chicken parmesan, and beef stew. I almost tried the chicken piccata, but they ran out (more on that later). Each entree comes with your choice of rice or pasta. Its a pretty good sized serving, but the amount varies on who is serving you, your food. The entrees have a home cooked taste, and are moderately priced. They have daily specials going on, throughout the week. They are very busy during lunch hours and they tend to run out of food if you get there too late. They also close early in the afternoon. Location is easy to miss, as its located at the bottom of an office building, and it doesn't have much signage to see it from the street.

If you're looking for great Italian food with a minimalist atmosphere, Paradiso is it. This is as authentic as it gets when it comes to Homestyle Italian food. They serve good portion sizes. Everything I've tried has been tasty. There are daily specials that change regularly. Some dishes are made to order, but most are a la carte. The Shrimp Parmesan is probably my favorite. You really can't go wrong with any of their offerings though. They know what they're doing in the kitchen. The food can sometimes be light on the salt, but that's nothing the shakers located at each table can't fix. The people here can be very nice, but I've noticed that it's not consistent. Most of the men working here seem like they're always in a bad mood. I've also seen the staff be pushy for you to order quickly during peak hours. Normally, I would understand and agree with that to keep the line moving. However you really can't see the daily menu or any of the dishes until you're already at the counter. There are no waiters. You just order, get your food, and seat yourself. It's an efficient system, especially for those on a limited lunch break. This place is located inside of an office building and feels very much like a cafeteria. Despite having a door that leads onto a main street, most people will not notice it unless they look closely. The furniture inside looks like stuff you would buy from Walmart. There's no decorations aside from some pictures of celebrities that have visited the location and statues that feel a little out of place. Everything is kept is very clean and the tables are positioned far enough apart to give you some personal space. The crowd is usually a balanced mix of blue collar and white collar workers. Decent pricing here. You can get your fill for under $10. For the quality of food that you get, they could easily charge more. Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Environment: 3/5 Price: 3/5 At the end of it all, you will leave with warm Italian family experience.

We got there and my husband waited for about 15 mins and was told it was "almost done". We decided to leave and come back since our 1 year old started crying in the car. We got home and made dinner for the kids and finally got a message at 6:53pm that the order was ready for pick up. Having waited an hour for a pick up order, I was expecting this to be spectacular. My pastrami was fine. Did its job filling me up but pastrami was a little on the dry side and flavoring was whatever. My husband had the plain brisket sandwich which was dry AF. No juices on the bread and not that much flavoring on the brisket. The steak fries and onion rings were mediocre. Nothing to rave about. I thought we'd try something new tonight for Fourth of July but was definitely a mistake...not worth the money I paid and the wait for a pick up order. The girl behind the counter apologized to my husband for the wait, told him his order was ready, and left to do something. We thought she was getting our order but she came back and completely forgot about us... I'm sure she had a lot going on...... Worth a try if you're a local, but not something I'd pick when you're in a rush to get your food.

We're so glad we did, because this hole in the wall turned out to be a diamond in the rough. With a nondescript exterior and limited signage, Foodies Diner is easy to miss. It's in an area with mainly houses and mixed use commercial buildings, but the space inside is cozy. I especially appreciated the way the owner greeted everyone who enters and thanked everyone who leaves with notable warmth and small-town friendliness. The menu reads like a true diner - with all-day breakfast and brunch options, as well as standard lunch fare. We ordered a Santa Fe salad and an L.A. burger - which comes with avocado, bacon, onion, lettuce, and tomatoes. The burger was pretty standard, but having it delivered on a warm brioche bun feels a little bit special. The accompanying fries were also great - crisp and potatoey on the inside. The salad, on the other hand, was a near triumph. Served on a large platter, there was a small field of well-seasoned chicken, shredded cheddar, vegetables, avocado, pico de gallo, and - best yet - some pieces of warm, toasted pita. I even sprinkled some pieces of bacon from my burger into this salad, and wow did that take it over the top. I dug into this salad with fair gusto and would absolutely come back for it...which is saying something, since I wouldn't expect to fall in love with a salad at a diner. Service was fantastic, and we were pleased with how reasonably priced our meal turned out to be. There's plenty of parking - either right out front or in the lot further back.

Great cocktails - I had the "goodfella" - mellow old fashioned. Would have loved that with a cigar! The ladies had cosmos and they were pleased. The menu is limited but a diverse set of selections. No specials - not sure if they offer specials on the weekends. We'll find out on our next visit. For apps: I enjoyed my tortilla soup - more like a chili consistency than soup - and it was delicious! We shared wings as well. They were crispy and meaty and they'll default to mixing in a choice of sauces or they'll bring the sauces on the side for you. Nice touch! For entrees: Can't go wrong with the burger or the chicken sandwich. Add truffle fries for $1 up charge - worth it! Coming back to try the blackened cod sandwich or fish n chips with salt and vinegar fries. (They were just out of cod when we arrived at around 8:00pm - next time!). My wife had the chicken parm - huge portion, decent marinara (rare that my wife orders red sauce outside of a bonafide Italian restaurant) with a side of lasagna-looking pasta - very good! Vikki was our server tonight - smart, organized, efficient. She was a pleasure throughout our experience. Give this place a try - you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to go back soon!

We were one of the first parties to walk in, the host took us to our table right away. I was mezmerized by the gorgeous interior, art and decor of the place. They have a huge full service bar as well. The menu had few choices in each of the sections of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, salad and entrees. I ordered the bulgogi tacos from the appetizers section, that came with 2 tacos filled with slices of flavorful bulgogi steak, topped with some pickled carrots and cabbage. For entree I got the NY strip melt sandwich. Again the sandwich was filled with delicious steak pieces, caramelized onions, cheese and aioli. The bread they used was really fluffy and thick, but I was glad it was the soft brioche kind. The seared salmon was cooked perfectly with beautiful char all around. Loved the virgin pomelo drink so much, I got two of them. The service was good overall. Our server was friendly and did a good job attending multiple tables simultaneously, including ours. The dishes came out within decent intervals. Overall we loved the lunch experience, and look forward to returning again in future to try some of their other dishes.
