Old school diner in Wilmington with a unique setting, an oval shape communal table. We came in for breakfast, typical diner style food. The service was fast and food was good. If you have time to stay longer you can strike up a conversation with the friendly locals here.

I recently visited CNS with my Father in Law during a Snow storm. It was my first time, but he's been a fan. I see why. CNS is not fancy, but it's still a cool place. They have a one of a kind hockey rink shaped seating counter. So it's almost like you're eating with everybody there. There's an open area in the middle and the servers work their magic from there. I enjoyed the CNS crew quite a bit. Good people. My Father in Law raved about the corn beef hash. And he was right. It was very flavorful. For a standard style of corn beef hash, it was a good step or two above average. I've had better hash, but I'm not sure I've had better traditional style hash. Sorry no pic. It was on my Father in Law's plate. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a biscuit. Great biscuit. Flavorful. The sausage, egg and cheese were all good. I'm a fan of CNS. If you like classic old school diner vibes, I'm pretty sure you'll like it too. 4.5 Stars

Everything an old-school breakfast place should be. Great and friendly service, good coffee, huge portions, and a very unique seating arrangement. We will be back for sure!

I cannot say how many times I wanted to change my food order prior to my food coming because of all the yummy looking dishes that came out of the kitchen. Especially the chicken and waffles that was facing across from me. Yes literally across from me because this diner's main table is horse shoe shaped! I've been here twice now, once in 2019 and another time this year and the memorable part of eating here was the horse shoe shaped tables. It's interesting eating across strangers enjoying their food - I felt like I was watching a live mukbang (that sounded weird haha) but mukbang is when you watch someone eating lots of food. I was split on a few different dishes and ended up ordering the biscuits and gravy while my boyfriend got a cajun skillet. Both were pretty tasty! I'd say next time I'll probably try something new since all the dishes that came out looked delicious. Oh - also there is a mini shop across the road, we initially stopped here to eat brunch + pick up gifts to take back to NYC from the shop next door so I'd recommend hitting both of these shops if you need food and gifts to take home after your visit to Vermont!

A hidden gem in Wilmington, VT. Delicious food and smiling faces both the staff and patrons. A must stop, you will not be sorry! We will be back!

After a hiatus of many years, Bon G and I returned to Wilmington Vt to see how it had changed...We had our heart set on having breakfast at the infamous Dot's, but it was closed most of the week but we did hit it on Thursday. All the other mornings breakfast was at the nearby Cup N Saucer! It def is old school with a wrap around counter of yore but no matter that it had no asthetics, it did have good grub! The service, even when crowded was fine and the constant pouring of coffee made everything more bearable considering the cook was working right behind us and the dishwasher was off to the side. All this aside, the pancakes were outstanding and came with real maple syrup. The eggs and taters were good although the sausage links, despite looking cooked, were mushy on the inside. I tried the home made corned beef hash a couple of times and it was meaty and delish with the eggs. The overall feeling was good and we ate there 3 times during the week we were there. You will enjoy their home made fare and particularily their breakfasts! And its a good place to meet the locals....they are friendly and knowledgable about the area.

I pride myself on giving honest reviews and this breakfast spot was amazing. Our waitress was so nice, attentive, constantly refilling our coffees & kind. So this place is a bit unconventional since the only table is a long "saucer" like table that it seems like people just walk in and sit down anywhere. The chefs were so funny and interacting with the customers. He was awesome definitely made the vibe at the place that much better. Oh I haven't even talked about the food... AMAZING. Eggs cooked to your liking, ham/bacon delicious & home fries very yummy. After a long weekend skiing this was the perfect final breakfast for our trip

If you drive just past the town of Wilmington on Route 100 you will see this place. It is easy to miss but clearly loved by locals. Be patient for your food , it is cooked with care to order. It was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be back.

The food is classic Vermont - great pancakes (love the raspberry and blueberry combo) and the team there - Sonny, Cindy, and the others - could not be nicer.

The cheese fondue was substantial, served with bread, apples, cornichons, cocktail onions, chunks of ham, two different kinds of sausages and assorted potatoes, all gorgeously presented on wooden slab. The French onion soup, which we shared as an appetizer was also delicious. Great wine and my fiancé sampled the Vermonter cocktail, a potent concoction of bourbon, sweet vermouth and angostura bitters. Very strong and flavorful! We finished the evening with a slice of apple strudel, complete with a sparkler candle for my belated birthday. Great presentation! The decor and atmosphere here is stunning with fur throws over the seat backs, roses, candlelight and Alpine themes like antler wall sconces. Bathrooms were very clean and decorated with cute retro skiing photos. After we praised the fondue as exceptional, our server offered to bring out the owner so we could meet her. Our whole experience here was very strong until the end of our meal when then service slowed down, which the server explained was due to a large party upstairs, so it took awhile for us to get our dessert. Not a huge deal. While the owner was great to chat with, she then asked if we wanted to enjoy our dessert at the bar so they could seat a larger party using our table and the one next to us (awkward, especially after spending over $200 on dinner, no thanks). Also, we did not appreciate the 2.5 "operational fee" added to our check! Were it not for these last two points, this would have been a five star review because the atmosphere, food and drinks were great!

Amazing atmosphere and food. Quaint little restaurant with elevated German food. It is very pricey…read moreso prepared to spend some $$ here. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated right away. They don't have a kid's menu, but they have plenty of kid friendly food to choose from. I love how the dinning area has stone wall and chairs with white fur on them. Great romanic place for dates or special occasions. There were 5 of us and we ordered the pork schnitzel which was perfectly pan fried and seasoned ($36). The ham and cheese crepe was $22, small but very good... I was still left hungry so we also ordered the beet spatzel ($18), it came in a bowl with goat cheese , so good. The chicken entree(forgot the name) was big enough to share by my kids. It was cooked with skin on, which I prefer, crispy skin and tender meat, sooooo good. It was supposed to come with parsnip puree but they were nice enough to sub it with mashed potatoes for my kids. It was devoured! We also shared 2 deserts: apple strudel and bread pudding. They were good, but not the best we've had... For $16 each, maybe this can be skipped. But overall, great meal! Oh forgot to mention they have an apple schnapps shot for $5 that comes in a little Dasboot shot glass. So yummy!! A must try!

This place absolutely lives up to the hype!…read more We stopped in on the way to Burlington for southeastern Massachusetts. We actually even stopped on the way back. It was so good. Of course, we went for the mac & cheese. We were surprised at how much other stuff they had, like fresh, baked goods, a deli, prepared foods and an amazing dessert case! They have tables next-door at the store that you can sit out and eat your food out. It has cute little gifts and local food items that you can buy. We had the mac & cheese on the way up and on the way back, bought more mac & cheese, some kale slaw, and some fresh made deli sandwiches. My sandwich was great, my wife got tuna and I will say they could've added a little more for the price. The rancid was rancid so I actually threw it away and didn't get to try it. Everyone was great from the guy who checked us out to the Deli person who made our sandwiches. If this is on your way, definitely stop in, you won't be disappointed.

As I waited in line I enjoyed conversations with both the people in front and behind me whom all have never been before. The joy and excitement on their faces as they made their way to order was priceless. As for myself, a small mac to help start the new year strong for total lbs sold (81k in 2024) and a small pulled pork. Wanted to order some other things but my refrigerator is full at home, so another time. If this will be your first time, just be aware of parking could be very busy as there's not much. Both ways before pull out of parking spaces as well. Main road can be a cluster at times. I also recommend getting lots of little things rather than a little of a lot. You can always come back for more!
