My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of eggs, I got a spinach, tomato and cheese omelet that came with hash browns and cinnamon raisin toast. The food came out promptly, with generous portions of nicely prepared food. My omelet was good with the fresh spinach and tomatoes adding some nice contrast to the eggs. the potatoes were good and the raisin toast was excellent. Cup N Saucer is well worth a visit just to experience the old school feel with solid food. The service was good and the server seemed to know all of the other customers as friends and regulars.

We would have loved to linger as our evening was coming to a close and we had no other plans but after hearing other customers say it was too warm in the restaurant, we decided to head back to the hotel early. The lobster wasn't in any kind of butter sauce as had been advertised, it was just a little plain lobster meat and not much of it. The fries were horribly soggy. I tried to revive them in my toaster over once we got home but nothing helped. My parter's fried scallops were the worst he's had. He is pretty tolerant but even he said: "well we tried it and now we can write this place off our list". So don't waste your money or time on Joe's.
