My wife and I love going to 19 South. The food and service are great and we love all the live music. One of the main reasons why I like the restaurant is they are on top of allergies. I am celiac, gluten allergy, and if I accidently eat it, I am sick for days. Last night the waitress double checked my allergy and checked in with kitchen to insure everything was safe. When a question came up later, I really appreciated they checked back into clarify with me. The only downside is gluten free is not noted on the menu but they did a great job talking out my options. I would highly recommend, especially on live music nights! read more

Everyone local knows the dangers of heading out to dinner on a Friday night in a ski town. We needed a date night so decided to chance it. We were so pleasantly surprised. Got to the restaurant around 6 and were seated almost immediately, soon after the rest of the open tables were filled. Order was taken promptly, salads came soon after, then appetizers and main course. Absolutely perfectly prepared and appropriately priced. Great meal, great food, great service. We just had a wonderful experience on an "off night" the Tuesday after a holiday weekend. The bar maid / waitress , Sandra was exceptional taking care of the bar , the indoor tables, AND outdoor tables. Job well done !!! ( with the help of a young lady who was also amazing). Must add compliments to the guy tossing pizzas too ! And of course compliments to the chef - our meals were perfect! - - I also could not stop taking oucs of the cute atmosphere. My family has eaten at 19 South Main on several occasions, the food is always very good. From the pizza to the salmon to tenderloin tips everything is delicious. Tonight we started with the shortrib poutine followed by the tenderloin steak tips with parmesan truffle fries, the buratta caprese sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes and creme brulee and Italian creme brulee. We wandered ínto this restaurant on a whim añd immedíately felt a laid back peaceful víbe. Waitress was very atténtive and pléasant. Beer seleçtion was diverse. We ordered wild mushróom pizza and it was outstandíng. The mushrooms and mozzarella were fresh and tasty. My family and I stopped in to this restaurant after a long day and were SO happy with everything that we had! The hot honey brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious, as was the margarita pizza and their seasonal cider martini. Most Everything here is made fresh, to order using the best ingredients and you can taste it. If you like pizza you will love the house made dough that is hand tossed and baked in the brick ovens. Definitely a treat when available. The bar has great live music and large selection of craft beers and cocktails, perfect for any day of the week or Sunday game watching. Didn't realize it before we went, but this shop was Kelly Clark's parents' restaurant, and the memorabilia was cool. Cheap beers and drinks, wings were ok (wings needed to be crispier and have more spicy buffalo sauce, the bbq version was just ok). The chowder was thinner compared to Anchor Seafood down the way, and the tuna nachos were ok (on light puffed rice chips w/ some seaweed salad to the side, mayo or similar across the top could've been better with some yuzu or ponzu sauce instead). Fried pickles were large and great, though, as were the fried cheese and pretzels. The truffle cheese fries were heavy but still needed more cheese and table didn't enjoy it as much. St. Louis Ribs were ok, but the Short Rib Stroganoff and the Lobster Mac N' Cheese were table favorites - and warmed up really well the next day with the generous portion helping balance the cost as it was basically two meals in one. Game and fun bathroom signs in the waiting area upfront. Staffers were busy but definitely worked to satisfy our tables' orders and needs and kept cheery while at it. Very tight seating spaces so make a note if you're on the bigger side, it may not be as comfortable depending on the seat you get. My friend had a cosmo and said it was very good, dry, and "not too sweet not too alcoholy." We split the arancini which was AMAZING and the winter salad off the specials menu, which was also very delicious. For dinner, I had the mussels fra diavolo which was spicier than I imagined it being but still good. I even liked the mussels which isn't typical for me. It was served with a buttery and soft garlic crostini and linguini, but I could've just gotten it with a loaf of bread which I'll admit I was curious to try. We really enjoyed the live music and were a little disappointed when he left for the night and no house music started playing. The silence left a small hole in our experience. Overall? Great night. We liked the restaurant enough that we considered going to their sister restaurant across the street the following night, but ended up just having our leftovers from 421. Also, street parking!

We got the pizza margherita; I added prosciutto. The Italian Trio pizza, a large Caesar salad, and arancini. I didn't snag a pic of the arancini because we inhaled them from were so hungry from skipping lunch. The arancini were superb. Inside the restaurant was lovely. Perfect for a date night.
