Nice downtown coffee shop. Not much selection of treats by 11:00 but the cheese danish and crum cake were excellent. Latte and Americano were well crafted. I had a honey hazelnut iced coffee and my dad had a regular coffee...we both liked it a lot. The coffee beans are from Ethiopia and the coffee is locally brewed. The honey they used is by a local honey shop that we ended up visiting later. The guy working there was so nice and gave us a history lesson on Savannah. I definitely recommend Cup to Cup. read more

Learned about brewing & different tastes around the country from manager Greg as we relaxed at the coffee bar after a vigorous shopping day. Apparently this cafe just opened last week. We would have walked right by it if there hadn't been a sign outside announcing it. I'm from California so I'm used to a more mellow and robust brew than I have experienced in Savannah. There is definitely a difference in taste and mouth feel. This was one of the best coffees I had in Savannah. Bathroom is clean. But...watch your step! There's a small step down I tripped on. I stumbled of this cute coffee place during my vacation in Savannah and the Vienna Roast from Cup-to-Cup conjured up memories of excellent coffee I enjoyed in Vienna, Austria. I bought a pound and put it to work with my espresso machine and grinder at home - it was delicious. Not to strong to taste just bold and bitter but strong and flavorful enough to blend nicely with cream in an espresso or with milk in a cappuccino. Beautiful crema and consistency. The coffee is wonderful. My friends and I each ordered something different and we were all very happy with the drinks. They also have the most delicious ginger ale. I tried an iced mocha and an apple turnover. Both were pretty good! Not the best I've had in the city but definitely good, I'm not a super big coffee drinker anyway. The barista really knows what he's doing- I was super impressed after watching him interact with customers and make the drinks. The environment was quiet on a weekday afternoon which is great for studying, but you'll find more of an older crowd here at this time. Staff is friendly and happy to answer any questions you might have. Seating is limited but meeting new people and having conversations is encouraged by how seating is arranged. We were walking around Savannah and getting a little to hot. We went in for an iced coffee but saw the fizzlers. The handmade soft drink is fun and an experience to watch. We ordered the sparkling lemonade and the house made rootbeer. The. barista was very friendly and personable. We enjoyed both drinks as we continued our walk around Savannah. I can't express how much I appreciate the effort they put into their cappuccino. Best cappuccino in town. Some people don't like their cup sizes. There is a small cup and a medium which is most people's normal size. I dig the regular smaller size because it lessens milk consumption. They are always kind to everyone who walks in. Very small cafe, handy to the squares. Typical choices, though I had an atypical drink. I noticed root beer syrup for spritzers, and went, hmmm... I asked for a root beer iced latte. Sweetie was skeptical. The barista was skeptical. I was offered chances to back out. But, why not? It ended up being a pretty typical latte. Here's the deal. There are just too many coffee shops in SAV. Somehow, this city became the hub for beer, bars, and baristas. But in all that chaos, it's nice to find a place that really cares about what it's doing. Their coffee comes from their own roaster and the staff is extremely knowledgeable. The space is nice and the coffee is great. Also, it's award winning so that's cool! It's a small space, which is a downside, so if there are quite a few people in there, don't expect to stay. But thankfully, since they're so new they haven't been crazy busy all the time. But they totally deserve to be! Best Drink: Drip Coffee or Americano. Their espresso is on point. read more

Tucked away on a quiet side street, Cup to Cup promises to be a local spot to gather. In this Saturday morning, it seems undiscovered. I ordered a latte. The La Marzocco is a good sign. I sat in the back room that is nicely lit, clean, with architectural photos of the Brooklyn Bridge, and medium sized tables. The latte was solid. A 4 out of 5. Great little cafe! Hannah was a fun barista with a beautiful personality. Was on our way to Starbucks but stopped in here as we were passing by. Nitro cold brew was loaded with caffeine and smooth. It's a pretty simple concept and they do it well. Tiny hole in the wall shop that serves delicious coffee, a couple types of pastries, and coffee beans for your home. There are a few tables to chill at, but I'd recommend getting the coffee to go and visit the amazing architecture and the cemetery nearby. I was hoping to get a cup of coffee, a pastry, and do some homework. I got two pastries, but both were inedible, they tasted old. The young man working there seemed irritated that I didn't like the food. I wasn't lying though, I could only take one bite of each and had to throw the rest away. In addition, the wifi did not work. My husband and I stopped by on our way from our Inn to Riverside. What a amazing discovery! Cute store, and great ambiance. They roast their beans, so the Cappuccino I had was full of flavor but had a low amount of acidity. Absolutely delicious!
