Good coffee, but a little too pretentious for my taste. Ask for an espresso to go and see what they say...

I've tried coffee a few times in my life but never liked it. That is until now. Because of Cup to Cup Coffee, I enjoy a cup on regular basis. It's the best coffee I've ever tasted, and the customer service is outstanding too! :D Like Renee, I have a stash at home, our office lives on either the newest bean offered or delicious faves, and a bag or two makes a great gift for someone wanting to experience local flavors. I've been happy to discover that some of my favorite restaurants now serve and sell James' coffee! I can be sure to have a great cup even when I'm out of the house or the office. Yay! read more

The title says it all. This little joint has really good coffee but what makes it special is that they get their baked goods from the Gotlieb brothers whose family is well known locally as having one of the great bakeries back in the day and now own Wood's Kitchen a BBQ & bakery joint in Bloomingdale GA (worth seeking out). And based on the baked goods at Cup to Cup their rep is well deserved. In addition the staff is very friendly. All in all a nice place to stop for a cup of joe with some world class pastries. read more

Our friend from Atlanta recommended we check out Cup to Cup, so we swing by on our last day in Savannah. It's in a super cute little space just a little off the beaten path (which is so nice on SCAD grad weekend). They roast their own beans and the smell is amazing the second you walk in. I got an iced latte and my wife got an iced Green Tea. They were both excellent. We stayed and enjoyed the nice environment and rested our feet for a while. read more

Really enjoyed the coffee tonics. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. The other drinks we got, cappuccinos and iced lattes, were also very good. The pastries didn't look appealing at first, the texture and color seemed off for croissants, but they tasted great (plain and almond), so I'd recommend! I am a local and I used to come to this coffee place. The quality of the coffee is good but it also highly overrated. they have very limited options in terms of pastries and things to eat. the front room is small with just few sits and the backroom is very dark. the customer service is sketchy and not welcoming; they make you feel like they are the ones doing you a favor by selling coffee. It works if you want to drink decent coffee. I give 1 star to the service and 3 to the coffee = 2 stars total read more

Had opportunity for a return trip when I could stay and savor a cappuccino with almond milk. Perfect foam and coffee, done with a long-pull shot. My husband enjoyed his cheese Danish. He said the pastry was very well made depending on the ingredient flavors to come through as opposed to relying on sugar. Show tunes played today. It has been hard to even want to try another place when this one scores so high. The bathroom is spotless and well designed for its limited space. Amazing coffee!!! We stayed in Savannah for 2 days and were lucky to find this place on our first day. Needless to say, we came back the next day. Coffee is rich, smooth with delicate aroma. The scones and donuts are definitely not their thing, so get a pastry somewhere else, but definitely come here for coffee! read more

The coffee is great! Baristas know what they are doing! Am a barista from downtown Denver. But i will say this. The customer service with the guy w/ glasses and brown hair sucks. I went in and my boss asked me to get him something (of my choice). So I go up to this guy and I say "Hey I don't know what I want. Just surprise me," as I've done at really any coffeehouse. And the dude looks confused and angered. He wants a simple order and the fact that he has to create something upsets him. He then tells me' "That's not enough, you gotta give me more." And I say "Something iced, kinda sweet, with espresso." The guy just says "Fine (but like the way you say it when you've had enough from someone and are annoyed) I'm making an iced vanilla latte." As being a barista, I know one of the most important values is continuously creating and inventing for yourself and others, but this guy was not about it. I believe these to be the most important qualities of the job and if you are not doing this then you are not properly doing your job. I also know it wasn't die to the fact that he was busy or anything. I walked in and it was a normal flow, and like I said I'm a barista myself so I understand when it can get crowded and would prefer simplicity. If you happen to go and see this guy, just make sure you have an order in mind or he'll get pissed off. Great coffee (taste, acidity, and flavor)!! I was visiting Savannah for the week and went to multiple coffee shops to see what they had to offer. I'm sad I didn't discover this sooner on my trip because it was by far my favorite. Great mocha but very cramped with small uncomfortable seating area. Small back room was stuffy and hot. Only AC was from a portable unit. Only two choices for pastries and no other food items. My pastry was not fresh nor heated. Disappointing experience. Seems like a better place to get a latte to go instead of a coffee house experience. read more
