Vernon and metered street parking is available. The store is small, clean and has glass display cases with freshly made goods. There were not a lot of items available due to most of the sweet treats having been sold because of Mother's Day. We grabbed a six pack of beautifully decorated cupcakes which included red velvet, Dubai style, banana and chocolate. The cupcakes were moist and flavorful. I also picked up a small banana pudding which was so good with layers of fresh bananas and vanilla wafers. The venue also has a cupcake food truck which is available for parties and events. Cupcake Cutie Boutique did a fantastic job for our baby shower cake. I visited the shop before ordering, I was able to taste two cupcakes for the flavor of the cake before deciding on which flavors to choose. The ordering process was super easy, I sent a few pictures of the concept I wanted to go with and they delivered the perfect cake. Or more specifically, let's discuss Vegan brownies, because these babies I got at Cupcake Cutie in New Rochelle are my favorite: they're moist, dark cocoaey and rich (ate one while driving). Rundown? 'Brownies' are heart-shape, Vegan cookie dough base, stuffed with a whole Oreo cookie and 'brownie' on top. I was frozen. With a Vegan brownie this freaking good, I'm second-guessing the quality and overall taste of my favorite high-end pastry shop up in Irvington. You might say all Vegan pastries are created equal in taste- and they aren't. Before making this trip, I called the night before to see whether or not they carry Vegan pastries. Without fail- Cupcake Cutie always carries Vegan brownies. As far as Vegan cupcakes or pies, those you do need to give these ladies ample time (I think 2 or 3 days) for making them. Want to point out even when I asked about offering Vegan items on a daily, Edwina(?) explained they don't because it's not a quick turn-around- and I can see that. I appreciated that response instead of dismissing my question the ways it's happened to me at other pastry spots. Located off the Metro North tracks, Cupcake Cutie is pink and black and......cute with a few high-top tables and regular Cupcake selections ahead. Edwina gave me the what's what on online prices, cupcake parties at another location AND a Vegan Sweet Potato pie (which I wanna get my hands on). #SweetPotatoPieFiend&NotAshamed! I looked on their menu, which desperately needs updating for prices, and found that they had some awesome red velvet cupcakes. I then called and left a message on their phone at their business, but no one called me back. I started to panic. I needed the cupcakes in 24 hours!! I waited until they opened the next day and called. They said that no one checked messaged at the business and they would also look into their website issues. But, good news was they could make my cupcakes for me to pick up, despite their website saying that they deliver. (That needs clarifying if you only mean catering) I sent a coworker to grab them and boy were they just BEAUTIFUL!! Everyone (even CCB) has red velvet, but how many places have a blue velvet version? Or chicken n' waffles cupcakes? And on Thursdays, they have booze-inducted treats!!
