We have been coming here for years. This is the place where I introduced my kids to bubble tea. The owner has been there almost every time we have been in. He's always friendly with me and my kids and knows what they will have and how they will order it, better than me even. The shop is walk in (or DoorDash), no drive thru. They have food items, pastries, and even ice cream. There are some places to sit and they have a super cool chalk mural on the wall that changes on occasion. The bathroom has been "temporarily closed" for quite some time. Their boba beverages are on the sweet side, especially compared to more traditional versions. But we love them. Blended is the way to go. There are several things to choose from but we prefer the boba pearls. read more

Service is reasonable, but not super friendly. I stopped in for a boba drink, and it was passable at best. The tapioca pearls were undercooked, and the blended peach base was really weak in flavor. I also bought a couple of cinnamon rolls, and while better than the boba drink, weren't anything particularly noteworthy. Prices are reasonable. I had coffee at Cupidone for the first time today and I totally recommend this place. I ordered just a regular coffee with a little cream in it and the gentleman behind the counter asked me if I'd ever tried it with turmeric and cinnamon. I hadn't, and he proceeded to scroll its virtues. So I said screw it and asked him to add the spices in. Folks. It was delicious. We talked more about coffee and he gave me more fun little tidbits of information like that and it was just such an unexpectedly pleasant experience that I couldn't wait to tell people about it. The shop is small, but not in a bad way-- it's cozy. The coffee was tasty and well-priced, the customer service was top notch, and I'm going to be taking the tricks I learned here and applying them to the coffee I make at home. While Cupidone Coffee isn't primarily a boba shop, it's my go-to spot for milk tea with tapioca pearls, and they never disappoint. Every time I visit, the same sweet little Armenian man is behind the counter, and he consistently makes the most perfectly balanced milk tea. The ratio of black tea, milk, and sugar is always spot on, creating a drink that's smooth, flavorful, and satisfying. The boba pearls are just the right texture--chewy but not too soft--and they complement the tea beautifully. What really stands out is the consistency. No matter when I go, the quality of the milk tea is always excellent, and it's decently priced too--not overly expensive, especially for the level of care that goes into each cup. I don't know how this flew off my radar. This place is cuuuuuuuute! A small corner cafe that has all the essentials. The place has a lovely couch to sit and a table by the window to do your people watching, I mean "work." I only knew of 24 Hour Fitness and the Vietnamese Restaurant so this was new. I was immediately greeted by the owner and let me say, she was quite a lovely gal. Menu is expansive and I was quite blown away that they carry boba!!! I didn't have any expectations so I decided to get a blended coffee with boba. The coffee itself wasn't bad and so was the boba. Just good. However, in Vancouver, this is probably as good as it gets. I think next time I'll stick to something more familiar to them like coffee or smoothies. Regardless, I will come back here because I like to support local businesses. read more

I think this place is pretty good for Vancouver. I haven't found a boba place that I really love down here, which is a shame, so I'm on the hunt for the best one with the closest proximity to my mom's in Battle Ground. The interior is cute and clean. I like their chalk board idea! The people inside were nice enough. I ordered the thai iced tea with boba, my sister ordered a black milk tea with boba. They took kind of a while to make our drinks, which is weird because I'm pretty sure they use powder. I'm fine with powder being used, honestly. I don't prefer it, but it's fine. If you don't like that, then I'm not sure you'd like this place. When I drank the tea it was quite warm and the ice was melting rapidly. I kept having to shake it to try to disperse it but it melted so quickly! After I got the tea to a decent temperature (still not very cold at all), it was good! I did like the flavor a lot. I'd say both of our teas leaned on the sweet side. I've had thai teas on occasion that are just sickly sweet- I'm just glad that this place didn't completely overdo it. As for the boba itself, it was REALLY, really soft. A little overcooked. I'm not super picky with boba textures, and I'm just glad it wasn't hard. Rather have overcooked boba than undercooked. All in all, I think I'd probably go back if I really wanted boba and was in the area. I liked both of our milk teas, just the temperature of the tea and the super soft boba threw me off. There are a few other boba places on fourth plain that I'd also like to try out. read more

I was really hoping to find a hidden gem here. Overall, I'd go again, but I don't know that it would be my #1 or #2 choice in Vancouver. My car was getting serviced, so I walked to this coffee shop which was around a mile away. It was empty at 10 a.m., and over the 2 hours I was there there were 4 or 5 patrons who came in, 1 other person ordered in and the rest took it to go. It's a new business, so I get that sometimes it's rough to get started. They don't have drip coffee, I ordered one and received an Americano (I think?), and the lady behind the counter handed me a container of half and half to pour in. I also had a muffin, nothing outstanding. There was one person behind the counter, and after ordering, she gave me a handwritten stamp card, buy 9 drinks and the 10th is free. She was very nice and accommodating the entire time I was there. I'm assuming she was the owner. The seating was comfortable and the internet was fast, that's all I can really ask for in a coffee shop. It looked like there was proper seating for 12-16 people, maybe 4 parties. There were 1 or 2 tables near power outlets. When I left, I ordered a Nutella latte and the lady's recommendation: a Roast Beef sandwich. There was a faint hint of Nutella in the latte, I'm still not really decided if I liked it. I LOVE Nutella, so it seems like the latte got in the way :). The Roast Beef sandwich was given to me on a foil plate. When I left, she thanked me thoroughly for coming in. Pretty good sandwich, a little on the small side, but tasty. I snarfed down on the walk back to the mechanic. The prices were very reasonable. I think if I went again, I'd try the waffle. read more

Very quick of service, and ready to help. Every time that I have entered quiet and quaint establishment, the quality of the coffee and the readiness of the owners to do whatever needs to be done to get me out of the room with my cup of joe has been remarkable. Seating is a bit on the small side, accommodating maybe 15 people, and at that point it would still feel cramped. However it is a quiet environment at least in the mornings that I've been there, & I have been quite pleased with everything offered. You will find all the typical offerings of a coffee shop on the menu, at prices that you pretty much expect to see anywhere you go, what distinguishes this place is that it isn't one of the mass chains that you find everywhere, it is the fact that is a little local establishment trying to make their way into a crowded marketplace. Though they do not have a drive thru of any kind, as they are located within a strip mall, what they lack in immediate accessibility they make up for in service and ambiance. Decided to re-write my review because I feel the customer service has gotten better. The first couple times I went to this place, the owner was kind of rude and off putting, but I feel he's starting to improve and is smiling more. The first time I went here, I got a coffee and Thai tea boba. The coffee is always good, best ever! But the Thai tea was not good at all, had no flavor.
