Really good chai latte (I requested a mix of spicy and sweet chai) and a delicious muffin in quiet, comfortable surroundings with plenty of seating. The two people working were in an in-depth conversation with someone I took to be a regular when I arrived, but the person on the register broke away and was both friendly and helpful. I came here to take work meetings and finish school assignments, and I've never been treated this poorly in any café in Fort Collins! From the moment I walked in and asked for the Wi-Fi password, the owner was rude and kept giving me dirty looks...., even though I had just sat down to start my meeting. He could clearly see I was working on my laptop, yet he kept watching me and making me uncomfortable. About 40 minutes in, he came over, raised his voice, told me to leave, and insulted me by calling me a "vagrant." He even threatened to call the police, MULTIPLE TIMES. Meanwhile, other people were sitting and working without ordering, but I was the only one targeted. One of his employees also tried to lie about the police being called until I pressed her for a reason. As a black Sudanese woman and CSU student who's lived in Fort Collins for three years, this felt deeply biased and humiliating. Ironically, their own website says, "Need a place for your next meet-up or business conversation? Stop by today and enjoy a comfortable atmosphere." That "comfortable atmosphere" clearly didn't apply to me. I've filed formal complaints with the Colorado Civil Rights Division and the Fort Collins Human Relations Commission. I wouldn't recommend this café to anyone who expects professionalism or respect! DO NOT SUPPORT, DO NOT BUY. read more

The reviews were better than it was. I got a cortardo and iced vanilla latte. The cortardo was a 4/10, and the iced latte was a 6/10. Don't go out of your way to come here but it's good for a mid sprouts run. read more

OKAY LISTEN...I have been on quite the search to find a good chicken salad sandwich... AND THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST not only because it's hand made AND made with real chicken breast (a lot of places use deli meat which is wack) BUT ALSO BECAUSE YOU CAN GET IT ON A CROISSANT! This is also my favorite stop for coffee! Whenever I have a business meeting or consultation, I always bring my coworkers and clients here because the atmosphere is always respectful, kind and quiet! A family owns and operates this cute little coffee shop, and I feel that every time I walk in! I feel like I'm being invited into someone's home with how kind the entire staff is! My only complaint is the jerks in these yelp reviews that rave about this place and only leave 4 start reviews. To the bad review I saw of this place... I would put money on the fact that they just don't appreciate family owned business's and probably struggle with some level of entitlement or ability to engage in light hearted interactions. This place is always busy, and just like any busy place, the staff is trying to get everyone's order in a timely fashion. So don't be surprised when a small family has to go from your order to the next... (although this has never been my experience). The owner always takes the time to have good conversation with people that appreciate them even when they're busy! Probably because I always make a point to have positive interactions and conversations with great business owners. The service here was great and the ambience delightful, but the food is totally incredible. We enjoyed smoothies made to order, a blueberry scone, a spinach quiche, and the chicken salad sandwich on a fresh croissant, and everything was delicious. In the middle of a hot day We had a Tropical Breeze smoothie and it tasted like a healthy orange Creamsicle. We also built a croissant sandwich. Both were excellent - the smoothie was sweet but not too sweet and the perfect consistency , while the sandwich it was a pretty standard croissant sandwich but it was quality and hit the spot. They have a huge list of coffee options, but it was too hot for that! Haha. We were in FoCo to talk to a wedding photographer and needed to get some coffee, and this place had some good reviews so decided to drop by. We got a simple coffee and tea and whoever was behind the counter was for lack of a better word, a complete a$$h@t. Rude, snippy and just seemed like they didn't want to be alive anymore, which might be a strong impression but that's what I gathered. It got to the point that by the time I ordered my tea, my own mood had changed to anger and I was going along with his attitude. It had actually changed my mood within the span of about 3 minutes. He was throwing things around and sighing every 5 seconds from having to do his job. The coffee that my wife got was pretty terrible according to her or compared with other coffees. She said it was better than Starbucks or Dunkin, but didn't compare to Ozo or others that we frequent. My tea was also really not good, I had to drown it with sugar just to get through the taste of bitter sticks which is the only way I can describe it, which yes green tea can have a bit of a tang to it, but this was best described by a friend as "lawn clippings over ice". Again I'm not sure if it was normal that way or if the guy behind the counter was just ringing out dishwater into cups that day, but it soured our experience and we decided that we most likely wouldn't be back unfortunately. The inside was clean however, and had nice decorations on the wall which helped to keep us occupied while waiting and from having to deal with the kid behind the counter. I'm not from Fort Collins so I can't compare its coffee prices, but it was certainly higher than we were used to for way less quality. It might be in line with FoCo prices, I'm just not sure on that one. read more

Very comfortable ambiance with soft chairs, regular tables, and bar tables. A decent snack/food selection. I just drink black coffee, so I don't know about the foo-foo stuff, but the coffee is quite good. The service at the counter is cheerful and helpful. The wifi is robust. I don't know what else we'd want in a coffeeshop. They check off all the boxes quite nicely. read more

In doing my research for this review, I was reminded of the Little Guy in business and how they can easily become mislead, losing everything they have. Cuppy's Coffee, Smoothies and More! has seen some dark days dealing with franchise CEO's, but despite that mess, (and it's a big one spilling into the blogging community) they are still making coffee and creating a homey atmosphere for locals to enjoy their morning hug in a mug. My latte came out to me in a to-go cup, because the barista thought it would be safer than a mug with the little kid running around. What a smart lady. The coffee is pretty good - but no better or worse than other places around town. It's just a good predictable java. Cuppy's is a nice neighborhood coffee house where you feel comfortable sticking around for a while. They offer free wifi, so if you have some work to do, this is a good place to hang out. It's quiet and quaint. Some other coffee houses have better food, but their coffee is good and the service is friendly. I'd much rather support this local joint instead of Starbucks down the street. Plus, their endurance when fighting The Man is pretty admirable. read more

You can get a wide array of veggies on your sandwich and dressings. Everything is is very fresh and tasty. The desserts are pretty decent as well. Pretty good drinks! Nice atmosphere with art from local artists hanging on the wall. The gluten free pumpkin bread was awesome! They had a couple of gf bread options. Really nice people and a good selection of tea. I was able to work fairly comfortably and it wasn't too loud. There are plenty of outlets along the wall, but not that many tables. I stayed long enough to order lunch, so I ordered an asian salad with chicken, very large helping of salad with lots of fruit, veggies and some nuts on top. Cuppy's is by far my favorite place to get my coffee. Actually my drink of choice is an Americano. Simply delicious and I haven't had one like it at other places. Unfortunately, I don't live in Fort Collins anymore but when I visit- I am make sure to stop in and have my Americano and chat with the staff. No problem with products but this establishment is not following current COVID 19 health guidelines. Customers were inside within 6 feet not wearing masks. One guy coughed as he was talking to someone, also unmasked, 2 feet across the table. Batista had mask around her neck when we walked in, only put it up when she saw us wearing masks. Yet another example of a business pretending this virus doesn't exist, or is not as serious. Very unnerving experience to see that yet another business does not seem to care about protecting the community that supports it. read more

Cuppy's coffee house is a delight! The owners are warm and welcoming, the beautiful lady that makes the food is a gem and the atmosphere keeps you wanting to stay all day! As for the review concerning the "woman owner," it's ridiculous! I have never seen her be inappropriate in any way! In fact, just the opposite! If you have an opinion about the business, that's one thing, if you have an opinion about a person, that's another. Have the courage and compassion to talk to the person if you have an issue with them. She runs a great business, knows peoples names as well as what they like if they are a regular and makes the newcomer feel like a regular from the get go!! I really love the atmosphere here. I came here a few times to study, and it's really nice and quiet. I prefer it much more than the Alley Cat's noisier atmosphere. If you want somewhere that opens till late, you shouldn't come here though. I didn't get to try much of their drinks, but I thought their smoothies would be a good choice to start off with. Boy, was I wrong. Their smoothie was way too sweet and sugary. After 30 minutes or so, it started separating in different layers and you could see the water, [possibly] syrup, and other ingredients I couldn't identify. Love this place. We've been taking our dog to CSU for daily radiation treatments. Cuppy's was recommended by the staff and boy were they right. Excellent coffee. Tastes so much better than some national chains whose coffee is strong and bitter. We also get a raisin bagel, toasted with cream cheese. It has been toasted perfectly every time. Today I was intrigued by their mashed potato, bacon and cheddar stuffed biscuit. Oh my. Heaven. Very tasty and will become a staple for me if I can replicate since I live two hours away. Cuppy's Coffee is right down the street from my office on Drake x Stover in Midtown Fort Collins. It's a great casual place to meet clients and friends. It's quiet and intimate, a good place to have a quiet conversation. I'm a black coffee drinker and Cuppy's coffee is fresh and good...and black coffee has no where to hide.
