This location specifically is my favorite. (They have 1 downtown Poulsbo and another opening in Silverdale) It's the OG and everything about it whispers cozy coffee shop. A perfect place for a quiet date or a place to do some office work or meet with a friend. Even the outdoor seating is cozy. It's not a huge place so it's kind of forced into being cozy but they have used the space well. Even have a drive through. Though fair warning as this is the best coffee around that drive through line leaks onto the main rd and you may be better off just going inside. They also have such unique specials for espresso based drinks. I have never been led wrong by their flavor combos. The also sell single origin ethiopa coffee and canned cold brew, 2 things I am always on the hunt for.

I was VERY pleasantly surprised to see that there was such a cute coffee shop in this town AND that they had seasonal flavors along with funky and unique "classic" drinks. They have fresh flowers for sale and tote bags that one of the baristas designed herself! The barista was so sweet and made the visit go so smoothly. The drinks were delicious, creamy and you could taste the different syrups. The flavor combos and specialty drinks were so unique and if I lived anywhere nearby this would be my routine coffee stop, I am OBSESSED with their flavor combos. Note to the owner: I hope you slowly open up more shops, maybe in the Seattle Area :D If you're coming into town to visit, skip all the other coffee shops and head straight here.

Keeping an open mind that they offer a larger variety of pastries and goods I didn't try but my visit felt just average. While not overly impressed, I can appreciate a solid spot with fresh donuts and pastries managing high traffic. Line tends to be long but moves at a moderate speed, as the employees are open to chatting. Large Butterhorn - excessively sweet to a point where I felt sick of sugar because it's also pretty big. I personally would rather eat a fluffy donut because this felt more like a condensed block of sugar, but seems to be a favorite for others. Might just not be for me. Swedish Almond Pastry - while this was also super sweet, the almond flavor was able to pop out at times. Sliced almonds on top helped sprinkle some extra flavor but were ultimately consumed by the sweetness. A little flakier in texture which helped dissociate with the dense sugar block.

We popped into Caffe Cocina at the perfect time and just about beat the crowd. However, the line piled up quick and made it feel crowded inside. There is a lot of indoor seating, but it's more of a sit down cafe than a quick latte to go. We both ordered a matcha latte, delicious. The staff were friendly and fast once we ordered. They also have milk alternatives which is nice.

I come here every Thursday morning and I am never disappointed with the service or coffee. Usually just one Barista when they open but they always seem happy to be there and go above and beyond by bringing the food and drink out to the table. The coffee is good and not burnt and roasted by them. The food offered is made to order and worth the wait.
