This location of the Coffee Oasis is great for meetings or large groups like Bible studies. They have lots of seating and large tables. I come here every Thursday morning and I am never disappointed with the service or coffee. Usually just one Barista when they open but they always seem happy to be there and go above and beyond by bringing the food and drink out to the table. The coffee is good and not burnt and roasted by them. The food offered is made to order and worth the wait. So if you're looking for a quiet place to study or meet or just read this is the place for you. And as an added bonus by supporting this business you are helping homeless youth. read more

A very high quality coffee shop. That's how I'd like to sum it up. My iced Americano was perfect. It was not bitter, it was beautifully roasted and smooth. Perfect milk to Coffee ratio. The barista's here know what they're doing. Very professional. friendly, good people. Coffee was served immediately and sandwich came out a few minutes later. I had a delicious bacon, egg, and Gouda sandwich on a brioche bun with apricot jam and mustard. Very interesting combination. Not your average breakfast sandwich. Not your average coffee shop. The barista was such a sweetheart and was patient and the iced coffees came out amazing. She overheard me talking to my husband about my birthday weekend and what we were going to do next. She doodled a little celebration on my cup. She created a pumpkin and white chocolate iced coffee with 1 shot caf 2 shots decaf because i told her I was pregnant and couldn't have a lot of caffeine. The place is nice and big. Enough seating to spread out and enjoy your coffee. They have books to read and games to play while you enjoy your cup-o-joe. Met up with some friends for some coffee this morning. Luckily, my GPS didn't let me down because this isn't the easiest place to find. It is located off the side of the road a few minutes from the downtown area near a local school. A little unassuming place with a small parking lot in front. I walked in and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast and lunch. While the main menu doesn't describe the items, I appreciated that they had small laminated menus that described their foods in more detail. Given that I'm not a breakfast gal, I really appreciated that I could order from the lunch menu at 9 in the morning. I ordered an iced mocha and the American, which is a turkey panini that comes with bacon, avocado, and a pepper sauce (among other toppings). It was very hot and pretty tasty. I also ordered the iced mocha, which was delicious! I should preface that comment with the fact that I am NOT a coffee connoisseur by any means, but other yelpers seem to like their coffee as well so that's a good sign. There are several places to sit inside and even a pool table. Will definitely be back. read more

The best coffee spot/lunch spot/hangout spot in Poulsbo. No doubt about it! Their food menu rivals that of any sit-down restaurant you'd find in our area, if not better. Their wraps in particular are my favorite - try the horse bite wrap and thank me later! All of their "entree" options come with a side: Apple, chips or potato salad (homemade) ... Go with the potato salad. They make this amazing red potato salad that leaves you wanting more as soon as the last bite is gone. No joke, I sometimes consider driving 15 minutes (one way) on my lunch break for their wrap/potato salad lunch. Their baked goods are equally yummy! Though I must mention that when they first opened up they used to make their cookies on site (they no longer do so) and I would indulge in them AT LEAST 3x a week (I used to work a minute away from here). Once they stopped making them on site though, I just didn't have the same appreciation for them. The recipe must have changed or different ingredients were used... But they just weren't the same. I've tried pastries and brownies here before and have never been disappointed... But their cookies were always the main attraction for me :) Their coffees and teas are flavorful and unique to their shop. I don't remember the name of the tea, but I do remember it's an oolong tea (tropical flavor) and I used to buy it by the bag a few times a month because it was that good. I'm a full fledged coffee drinker and tea has never been my drink of choice, but their iced oolong tea makes my list of all time favorite drinks. All of the above things I mentioned are reason enough to grab a drink or a bite to eat here. But the main reason to support this business is because of their dedication and commitment to our local youth, particularly those who are at risk. I've had many conversations with the staff in the past about their various programs and services they offer to teenagers who are in need of assistance and it makes me proud to live in a community that has a local organization that truly cares that much about making a positive impact on those who need it the most. Curtis, the manager when they opened up this location, is one of the most kind people I've ever met, and you could tell that this place was an extension of himself, not just a job to pass his time. I sing their praises, but I can't sing them loud enough! This place is my "go-to" spot anytime I'm in Poulsbo for breakfast (they have delicious breakfast sandwiches and burritos) or lunch, and I suggest EVERYBODY make it theirs too! read more

Wife and I visited The Coffee Oasis after seeing a few excellent reviews about their coffee, but namely some honorable mentions about their breakfast burritos. We were both pleasantly surprised by the coffee (white mochas), which my wife thought it was tops on her coffee list (a close second on my short list). We split a bacon, egg, potato, and cheese breakfast burrito. It was a generous portion. It arrived cut in half, and the one burrito was more than enough for the two of us. For those picky about their eggs, they were a tad rubbery (according to my wife...I didn't mind - and didn't feel it was cause to give it 4 stars). Service was pleasant and rather quick despite a handful of people in the shop at the time. Definitely give this place a visit. read more

I'm frustrated by Coffee Oasis. On one hand I like their community-service mission, and they make some of the best coffee on the Kitsap peninsula (usually--more on that in a sec). But their hours are limited, and they shut down their kitchen 30 min before they close, so you can forget grabbing a bite after 4:30--actually after 4:29: the cut-off is enforced with a vengeance. But what really lets down this otherwise good coffee shop is the spotty customer service. Some employees are great, while others seem unfamiliar with the concepts of courtesy or friendliness. Parking at the Poulsbo and Bremerton locations is horrible--if you can find an open spot, you risk your car being dented by the kids playing basketball out front (of the Poulsbo location). Finally, the coffee is good--until it's not. It's just too hit and miss to get any recommendation from me. If this shop were across the water in Seattle, it wouldn't survive. It's just not that good. Over here in the wilds of Kitsap, where good coffee shops are scarce, Coffee Oasis makes you shut up and take their bad parking, short hours, inconstant quality, and so-so customer service because it's the only option. At least their charitable work tries to make up for it--you can tell yourself you've done something good by paying for iffy coffee and rude treatment. read more
