The ambiance is fun and inviting. Customer service was good/ standard. I got the 3 chocolate or milk chocolate strawberry cup and a salted caramel pretzel shake. My friend got a Dubai chocolate bar and a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. Everything was delicious except the salted caramel pretzel shake. There was no salted caramel flavor it just tasted like a vanilla shake and the pretzel in the shake were soggy and just didn't go. The issue I had was with their ordering system. There were multiple people who ordered after us and got their order first and I could understand if we got a large order but we didn't. I also wish the strawberries were coated before being put in the cup as most of the chocolate got stuck to the cup instead of the strawberries. Also 4 things for 50 dollars is pricey. read more

Chocolate House is THE spot to satisfy your sweet tooth. Yeah, you might feel an onset of type 2 diabetes coming on when you read the menu... but life is too short. EAT THAT TREAT. They have dessert crepes, waffles, shakes, churros, cakes, sundaes, chocolate dips, etc. Whatever you're craving, they most likely have it. I believe the Paterson location is the OG, but I prefer going to this one in Clifton. They have a parking lot shared with other businesses, so you won't lose your mind with street parking. They also have plenty of tables and booth seating inside. I ordered the Salted Caramel Pretzel crepe ($10.49) and it was delishhhh. The prices do seem high for a dessert, but the portion sizes are fairly large. You could easily split it between two people. I'm a big back at heart, so I can finish it all by myself ;) Service is friendly and efficient. They make everything fresh on the spot, so depending on how busy it is, you may have a bit of a wait. My girlfriend really wanted to try Dubai Chocolate and it seemed like Chocolate House was the most convenient place to do it. It seemed pretty busy for a Tuesday night which was a good sign. Despite the business we were served pretty quickly. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer when your order is ready. We ordered 2 different bars of Dubai Chocolate, a Dubai chocolate crepe, and a Watermelon Mint drink. On first bite, everything tasted pretty good but then it just became a little too sweet for me. Everything tasted pretty good, but the prices seemed a little steep. I believe everything came out to $40+. The place is clean and service is fine. They have a pretty extensive menu so there's probably something there for anyone to satisfy their cravings for sweets. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some of their other things. I recently stopped by Chocolate House in Clifton to check out what all the hullabaloo was about, and I'm happy to report the chocolate was indeed yummy! Maybe I'm unfamiliar with the Chocolate House vibe, but with the radio pop hits playing and chill staff cutting what seemed like pre-made store brownies felt a bit like fast food vibes? The sugar content in the dark chocolate was better, but the overall blend of flavors in the milk chocolate won out. The crunchy texture, pistachio flavor, and yummy chocolate was a winning combo. But it felt expensive for how tiny the chocolate bars ended up being. Visited this new business located in the Richfield Center strip mall. Have never been to a Chocolate House before so was unsure of all they offered. They have homemade waffles and crepes, smoothies, ice cream, and a couple dozen types of shakes. There are a few tables located inside if you want to eat there. They were very busy with just about every table full and plenty of customers taking out. We decided to go with a waffle with Nutella, banana, and strawberries. I also ordered a Nila wafer shake. The waffle was good and I thought the shake was very good. The flavor from the Nilla wafers was very noticeable and the shake was thick. Will definitely be back to try some other shake options. A huge chocolate fountain in the middle of the store and a gorgeous flower wall to take pictures. The staff is so friendly and probably has people like me just gawking at the menu all day. After about 10 minutes of trying to figure out what we wanted, my friend and I ordered. We both got two separate things and that's where we went wrong. It was fun to try different things but these portions are huge and it's definitely enough to share with another person. I decided on the Dubai shake, but I swapped out the vanilla ice cream for chocolate. It was ridiculously delicious, the cup is lined with chocolate so it's also a crackling shake. The pistachio isn't overwhelming and the quality of the ingredients is absolutely there. My friend decided on a crêpe. She made her own with Nutella strawberries and bananas. It was super fresh warm and decadent. it was also served on the cutest wooden board. This place is super insta-worthy. There's tons of seating, we came early but this store is open really late and I can see it getting packed at night when people are craving a sweet treat. Only complaint would be it was only one tiny scoop of vanilla in each so the ratio was off. The service was good and friendly staff. It was very clean and very chocolatey. The server was very kind. There were so many amazing items on the menu, it was hard to choose. This place has definitely got popular from social. I came Sunday evening and the line was so long and barely any seats. My kid got an Oreo kup and I got the pistachio waffle. I thought it was going to be the waffle on the stick but I got the whole waffle. The waffle was crispy which I loved and ofc the pistachio butter and pistachios on top really add to it. It definitely wasn't topped with as much pistachio butter as I've seen on social, but still good!
