Ordered online for delivery to be delivered on a Wednesday - Never showed or said they tried to call to confirm delivery then told us we would have to come in to pick up order. Went to store and was told order did not exist even though I had a order number. Had to reorder at higher price (there are deals on Tuesday) wound up getting only 1/3 of what my husband needed. Today I get a call from the delivery driver that he is 10 minutes away from my house with the order. Extremely knowledgeable about all products and their effects, and help find ways to cut down costs, which are admittedly higher, but you get what you pay for -- in this case, excellent quality. I have been purchasing medical marijuana for years as it has been prescribed by my pain management physician. Last night I went to open a new box of prerolls and to my chagrin, the box was EMPTY! I went back today and since it was from May and my card just recently expired, they would not stand behind their empty box that I paid good money for. So when I bought a vape cartridge that didn't work it was ages before I could get back there. When I did the guy at the front looked me up and wouldn't help me. My med card had expired. I didn't even realize cause I never get to use it. I asked so if I go the producer of the vape cartridge about it not working, what will they say? And the guy at the front said "they'll probably direct you back here." Cool well I was there right then, with the package that clearly said it was from this location. And they have a purchasing system that has my record. Easily verifiable what products are bought here considering the package has their name on it too. They wouldn't do an exchange or look at the defective product. I've since gotten my med card renewed but I don't live any closer to this location so I'm gonna take the money hit, and not go back. Three rec dispensaries opened closer. May cost more but I have a med card and one of the reasons is anxiety. I don't need some kid saying he won't help me after I trek across Long Island. I would love to love Curaleaf in Carle Place. Unfortunately I can't seem to have more than one positive experience in a row. Calling over the phone is a giant waste of time as you will rarely reach a person who is willing or able to assist you. One thing I do appreciate about Curaleaf is that they offer select brand which I prefer and they also have some great sales as well as a multitude of different discount options available to customers that may be in need. Staff is friendly and gets to know your needs & preferences. Payment is an easy and straightforward process using a debit card or cash or the Can pay app. My most efficient and least aggravating orders have been those that are placed for delivery. Notable, New York state dispensaries are not similar to out-of-state recreational dispensaries. For starters you cannot enter without a valid medical certification and New York State card. Keep in mind you must always provide a physical copy of your doctors prescription or they will send you to the UPS store to have your private information printed by strangers. NYS dispo's are not fun, the products are evolving but we are eons behind other states offerings. If you are a New York State medical patient and Curaleaf is conveniently located for you, I would suggest it but bear in mind it will not be a pain-free experience for you. 10/10 recommend ordering for delivery once they have all your required information. I have gotten several defective products but this time I tried to exchange a defective cliq pod and was told defective products can only be exchanged within 7 days and the exchange is at the manager's discretion. Used to come here all the time. It stops today. I've spend thousands of dollars there and I can't get an exchange on faulty products. I know exactly how vape pens should taste. There were two defective pens I tried to exchange. I called Curaleafs number and the lady on the phone said it was okay to exchange. So I drove the 30 mins there to return them. Just to have to go outside and "try the pens out". Which honestly shouldn't be a thing be you're not supposed to drive under the influence. The pen tasted like straight metal, the way it taste when u take a hit of a pen that has nothing left in it. I almost threw up from the bad taste. I then had to wait for the manager who proceeded to say "since it produces vapor, I can not offer a return" which is absolutely ridiculous. It was two pens that were defective. One was a new strain but the other strain I have smoked so many times. I know exactly how it tastes and smells and this is not right. $80 now down the drain, wasted gas and car mileage. I can't smoke the pens the taste is awful and there is no reason why I shouldn't have been offered a refund. Maybe don't have a call center and have the calls actually go to your store so I don't have to waste my time. All the guy could say is "sorry that's all I can do" (which was literally nothing) I'm never coming back to this dumb place unless they decide to actually rectify the problem. it does not state on the receipt that if it produced vapor that u can't return it. Clearly, they are not of 5 star value. Just another business selling their wares. 3 out of 3 times I have had delaying issue. I can complain, once again to no avail. Sonia the young woman with purple hair addressed me when I asked for management at today's visit. " Ya know" how a worker will sometimes say, well, the manager will say the same thing... This time the worker did not say that and yet - the management did say the same thing. In short, "can't help you" is what I got out of it along with the quiet noncompliant attitude of that's the way it is and if you don't like it... So, here's the scoop and you might pay attention to it in hopes that you will not have such delays. This is important: as of a month and 1/2 ago they changed and updated their computer system to a different one. So, if you have not been there for that time period, know what it is you want to buy and have a list or check your old records or items from previous orders. They note they cannot access the old records. As, they do not have any history on record. Don't bother wasting valuable time asking any of them as they all say the same mantra. You must bring a copy of your state authorization paper from the doctor of your choice. By copy I mean something showing original and current information and dates. We finally just made a paper copy and sized it to a card size with plastic seal. Then you must have your Cure leaf Id card and be sure to check and have a current date on it. We have been asked for our license as well. If you are a caregiver and getting marijuana items for someone else, have their card as well as your own. Even though I had a caregiver card, I was asked if I could bring the person I was purchasing for in. Seems they are not allowed to leave the premise to go to the car to double check verification. Of course, have money to pay the updated prices. "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise" If you had some "loyalty" rewards from before, somehow that was able to be transferred over. So, ask if you can use them to curtail the total cost before paying. Oh, be aware at the front entering, they will scan your cards and manually type entering information while you wait. When you go inside a rep will ask, is this an online order. If you say no, you will have to go to a kiosk and put in or have them put in the information again; this time additionally entering your contact phone number and birthday. I have no idea if once this is done if you must do this every time or if once put in the information will stay, providing that the computers are up and running and they do not do yet another switch. I was told make sure you always bring your card. I also suggest you yearly make sure that you update and pay for a new card per calendar year. They kept asking me for a copy of my card and to email it to them. I emailed it twice. They come back with a copy of my card attached to the email and asked me for a copy of the card. I purchased a full gram cart that is defective. Despite using my pen on the lowest setting the oil keeps leaking out of both the bottom and top of the cart. (It also comes up the pull piece and ends up in my mouth which is really gross). I've never had this issue in the past when using this same pen, and was shocked to learn that Curaleaf was not willing to do anything about it. The Cart was completely useless and had to be thrown away along with my damaged and now sticky vape battery. I reached out to customer service and was told " Unfortunately, without all of the requested items required, we cannot move forward with an investigation". They requested 1. A photo/video of the defective cartridge . 2. A photo of all packaging with labeling (Batch number, exp date). 3. A photo of the online and store receipt. 4. Location purchase was made. The only thing I wasn't able to provide was a photo of the packaging and receipt because like most customers, I don't hold on to what would be considered garbage. Its outrageous to me the Curaleaf pretends that they cant look in the system to confirm orders, or see which batch a cart was sold from when prior to purchase they make such a fuss about matching and confirming products in the computer. I'm disappointed but not surprised that Curaleaf's cutomer service is this mediocre. An apology for the inconvenience is not enough in this economy. Canceling an investigation when you clearly can see something is wrong just confirms my suspicion that curaleafs main concern is not customer satisfaction. This is my medicine and it is expensive and I won't make the mistake of wasting it with this company again. I look forward to taking my business elsewhere. P.S. I work during the day, then I had to go get cash, drive 20 minutes, got there at 6:15 only to be waved off and told they're closed. I was trying to take advantage of a sale. I work during the day. I deal with chronic pain. Hence, you know, the medical marijuana. This was the only sale day I could make. I understand that you gotta limit people at a certain time. I've worked in service. This will be my second year buying Medical Marijuana products from this dispensary and I have always had good experiences with friendly staff. lately it has been very difficult getting emails and orders fulfilled. On the weekend of September 3rd, I placed an order online because there were products that I used which were 20% off which would have saved me a lot of money and for a disabled person on a fixed income, that works great for me. I did place the order on Friday and then called Saturday morning and spoke to a John who stated that he did not see my order from Friday so I asked him if he could take it again and he said yes. I placed the same order with him and told him I would be there Sunday to pick up order and he said that is fine. On Saturday evening, John called me to tell me they are dumping my order for failing to pick up on the same day and I reminded him that we just placed the order that morning and he didn't act like he remembered me and I was getting angry cause that order was discounted. I then asked for a manager and he transferred me to a Gabriella who said I had to pick it up the same day. I advised that I never heard this before and always picked it up days later. I begged her to keep my order and she said she couldn't. I said I would be there Sunday morning but she said I could try coming at opening on Sunday morning in the event they dumped other orders and my items would then be in stock. I did arrive at around 0825 on Sunday morning and while sitting in the parking lot waiting for the runner to return with my order, Jennifer called me on my cell phone to advise the Cherry Chews are no longer in stock. At this point, I was so mad that a marijuana dispensary would screw someone who is disabled and relied on the promotion and discount that I desperately needed. I did send several emails to the corporate office of Curaleaf explaining what happened and was advised by email that The matter was brought to the attention of the upper management, Unfortunately, You will not obtain a discount. How disgusting. So nobody has called me to follow up and I guess upper management does not care what happened. As of now, my items are still out of stock and I got screwed by Curaleaf. The wait does suck but when I'm inside I'm given the right amount of information which does take a second and I appreciate that the budtenders go out of their way to actually speak to you about what you could be looking for or something you may not know exists. 2. If you figure out the right time to go you'll get in pretty quickly. 3. Check your order, everyone is human and mix ups happen when so many people move through so many orders 4. They keep the environment safe, clean and friendly and restock regularly. 5. The parking lot is small and people park horribly it is what it is. 6. Their point loyalty system works really well for the patients. As far as I'm concerned if the biggest flaw is the wait and having to make sure my order is what I ordered I'm okay with that.
