Phone tree is byzantine, had to have been designed by the same people who designed Citibank's VRU. I live out in the middle of Suffolk County and it was a major pain to drive to Forest Hills. This cuts my trip in half. From the moment you walk in the door, you are happily greeted. Every single encounter has always been a pleasant one. Everyone has such a friendly attitude. I would gladly come out of retirement to work for this company. (Wish they had some openings) I'm quite please with their products. I have extreme pain from basically crushing my body. I have neuropathy in both legs. I was an insomniac, and most recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes which created massive anxiety and stress which is NOT good for a diabetic. I've been a loyal patient since this place opened up. Today I called them and explained that I had left my med card at home today and if I could still come in. I had a picture on my phone of the front and back of the card and also had my certificate. The lady on the phone immediately told me they needed the physical copy. I asked to speak to a manager and very rudely she told me no manager is available. I asked if their was a manager in the building and again with a attitude told me theirs no manager available and hung up on me. I immediately called back and when a man answered I asked to speak to a manager and he put me on hold and never came back. This dispensary should have more reviews. The staff (especially Kimber, I believe the floor supervisor and Abhi who helps me every time). 1) Quality The quality that they offer compared to almost every other dispensary on Long Island can't be matched. Prices are still going to be competitive, as the MMJNY program currently doesn't allow for as cheap of products as the Rec States, however they're STILL definitely the cheapest on the island, and the quality provides me my pain relief 100 percent. 2) Customer Service Their customer service cannot be matched. Each time I've returned, they remembered me by my first and last name and they paid attention to any questions I've had. The staff is friendly and quick. The ground flower is 95% CBD very low THC I paid for fake Medical Marijuana and am very disappointed. In fact I see most of the Long Island cough cough dispensaries use this fake curaleaf product on their menu. One star for how difficult they make it for caregivers to pickup. My family has been using Curaleaf for about 2 years now and EVERY time I pick up, there's some new issue with my paperwork on file or new rule. It's gotten to the point where I have to call ahead each time before I send someone or I go to make sure they have all the proper paperwork. Today I got turned away because they told me my NYS MM card was "inactive" yet when I checked with NYS that was completely wrong. I'll wait in line outside in all kinds of weather just to be turned away once you're at the checkin for some new reason. Then the second visit I go that week or next it's all fine. They need to have a better, more organized or at least competent system. I'm tired of making two trips to pickup. I will be going to recreational sites from now on so I don't have to deal with Curaleaf BS and their subpar flower. read more

This is a great place for medical marijuana The stand out for me was Abhi. I met with him in an initial consultation and was very impressed with his knowledge, warmth, and professionalism. He listened to my pain related issues and we worked out a great alternative to opiate meds that I prefer NOT to use if possible. Abhi is a tremendous asset to the Curaleaf name. The store itself is clean ,well kept and easy to find with a security guard present anytime I have gone. I encourage anyone to stArt the process of exploring Medical marijuana. This was my first time to a medical dispensary and I have to say this place makes you feel so welcome and everyone has a smile on their face from the moment you step in through the door and are greeted by security. Spoke to Andrew who was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job getting me what I specifically needed for my condition. Their offices are closed door and private when you come in which is great. I have been using curaleaf for 2 years and as of the past few months service is beyond slow. I waited 40 Minutes for curbside pickup today. I saw the line clear out 2 different times atleast 9 people came in and out with their medicine before I got mine. The new dutchie system that they are using is not user friendly at all. Update-- You can do curbside pick up or go inside the store to pick up. Both take the same amount of time. Their website is unclear and often when I called to ask for clarification, they dont pick up the phone. I dont want to come all the way down to the store to ask questions I need know what the new products are so i can make it fit in my budget. I do not have an endless supply of money to spend sadly this is reality for many of us especially in the pandemic. I always ask for Gabrielle or Crystal because they take the time to help me, but otherwise, it is usually a bad experience because of the wait time or simply lack of response. I know that they are doing their best because every time I come, the workers are all busy. Business is booming so that tells me they are doing something right. This was my go to dispensary since I first got my medical card, but not any more. The quality and costumer service has dropped hard and fast. Always a long wait no matter what time or day you go. Online ordering means nothing when you have to wait in your car for over a hour and 20 minutes even though you receive a text that it is ready for pick up. Ive had my medical card since May 2020. When i first started going to Curaleaf Carle Place i was in and out in 10 min, online pre order or even just a walk in. Now, dont bother. Buy something off the street, the wait at this location is so horrible (even pre order) and the system they use sucks. The queens location is so much better, more to chose from AND you dont wait in your car, walk in, walk out. Yea the parking sucks in QNS but so does CP so whatever. Plus, QNS constantly have sales online, way more than CP. Sad but true. More and More people are going to Curaleaf, that is the problem. read more

Probably needs better management and more staff to deal with phones as well as emails and online orders. I've been turned away due to the dispensary being "too busy" one wayyyy too many times. Despite calling at 5:07pm to verify I can still stop in at 6:30pm, I was still turned away at 6:39pm. I was told they close in 20 minutes and the manager cut the line at 6:30pm. I explained the situation, that I called, that I cannot make it any other time because of my job. They should have said the line will be closed early when I finally got to speak to someone on my 6th phone call there today. I left work early to get there in time before closing. I, myself, work in a long term care pharmacy. If I told my patients that I was too busy & they can't get their meds, well then I wouldn't be helping anyone at all. To my dismay, I don't get many opportunities to make it during their store hours because of my long shifts. This is not the first and not the second time this has happened to me. When asking to speak to the manager, I was told "she's inside working, and I will not get her to explain the same thing to you." As a patient, I should never feel like an inconvenience. The fact that this occurs often here is beyond upsetting to me. They hardly answer the phone ever. I have left multiple messages and never received calls back. I've given them chances throughout the last 2 years & the fact that professionalism cannot be attained is ridiculous. My business will be taken elsewhere to say the least. I'd rather die in pain than give them anymore of my business or my money. My frustration has hit its limits. Enough is enough. read more

Excellent dispensary with a knowledgeable staff. My budtender Tyler constantly helps me with my cannabis and has shown that he is caring and supportive, not just there to make money. The selection is not the greatest when it comes to the ground flower, there is usually only one or two strains of indica, sativa, and hybrid. The Extra Strength strain they currently have is excellent, and worth the difference in price. All in all, the best dispensary on the island. Curaleaf is hands-down the best cannabis dispensary in New York. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Best quality and bang for your buck. I always put my order through the website ahead of time. However, the last three or four times I've been here, the wait in the parking lot (after checming in) has been at least 30 minutes. Today I waited around 45 mins. Not sure what goes on, especially when people who get here after me get served first each of the last few times I've been here. Hopefully they hire more staff and fix whatever issue is taking so long for orders to be delivered to the car, despite being placed the previous day. I'm really not sure if there if ordering in advance makes a difference. Regardless, I'll continue to support curaleaf because they are the far superior dispensary in New York state. staff is so nasty for absolutely no reason. I placed a pick up order that got cancelled right before I arrived and I explained this to the staff member and he told me I'd have to come in. I tried explaining to him that I couldn't come inside because I was exposed to covid so it's best for everyone for me to stay in my car and that's when he got nasty. He went off on me about how there was nothing he could do except tell me what I already know that my order was cancelled. I've never been spoken to with such disrespect and such "holier than thou" attitude from a employee of where I'm spending my money in my life.
